Great location for visiting Windsor, lovely bar area, friendly staff. Room small but comfortable, relatively well appointed.Great shower.

Had to pay extra for parking, with no other options for public parking, should be part of your stay especially with what the room rate is.

Room 6 was very comfy on top floor .We liked the ceiling fan. Coul d do with a tiny fridge.friendly service!

Entry level basic. If it was anywhere else it would be worth £40 per night but because it is in Windsor/Eton they can charge a serious premium. Does have onsite parking but you need to reserve it and they don’t have many spaces, also a very narrow entrance to drive though.

Will be going back!
The stay was awesome, easy check in, room very clean with tea and coffee available. On site parking was great. We were able to request a late breakfast and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Absolutely staying at this hotel again!

Short break
Ideal location for exploring Eton and Windsor. Breakfast slightly disappointing as we are plant based- fresh fruit would have good. Only thing on the Eco front is a system for asking for clean towels to help with the environment instead of them being changed automatically.

Amazing stay… happy wife!!!
Excellent quality room and size for 2 adults 2 children 4/6yrs, king bed was large and cosy. Beautifully decorated… was amazing. Great dining experience in the event and breakfast… great food. Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect and great location.

Clean and comfortable room.Breakfast good but service slow. Booked through hotels .com who stated parking was included in price but hotel did not honour this and charged another £30 for 2 nights parking. When disputed this, was told the booking site was at fault and they have been trying to rectify this but think the hotel should still honour the price advertised until it is sorted out.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Our junior suite was dark, outdated, not very clean (somebody else’s rose petals under the bed) and overlooked a roof. We waited 90 minutes to be served at the hotel restaurant for dinner and almost an hour for breakfast the next morning which made us late for our visit to Windsor Castle. The personnel was polite but the hotel was obviously understaffed. Good points: well located - that’s about it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and breakfast was delicious. Car parking is limited and very narrow entrance but overall would highly recommend staying at The Christopher Wren

Room small but clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Shower room had clearly been recently updated and was very nice. Nice bright restaurant with a good breakfast menu. Food was very good. Only limited parking on site with very narrow entrance. Hotel perfectly situated to explore Eton with a short walk over the river into Windsor.

Really enjoyed the breakfast, friendly staff. Room was really disappointing..very dark, blind not working properly. Bathroom needs refurbishing, although shower was good. Great location in Eton High Street. Would not stay here again.

Gem of a find.
This hotel was a gem of a find. Small and personal with amazing service. Nothing was too much and all done with a smile. Lovely location. Short and very scenic walk into Windsor. Lovely for walking around Eton. Breakfasts were great. Would definitely return and definitely recommend to friends and family.

Highly recommend
Great location within walking distance to Windsor and Eton. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Nice bedding, towels and toiletries. Good breakfast. Limited parking at the hotel which you need to book but we parked around the corner which was slighty cheaper.

Great break in Windsor/Eton
Great break! We really enjoyed the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only issue was a lack of air conditioning in the room. It was very very hot because my partner can’t sleep with a fan. Fab trip though, would recommend and stay again.

We had a wonderful time in Eaton. The Christopher had changed a little since then, for the better may I say. We have not been for a while but we did enjoy our stay. Everyone was so friendly, accommodation was very nice and breakfast was wonderful. Our Grandson really enjoyed himself and the weather was great.

Overnight Stay
Stayed for one night, a lovely Hotel with plenty of character, just what we like. Lovely location a short walk to Eton Bridge. and crossover into Windsor Checkin was a breeze,and personally shown to our room. Our room was lovely with everything we required to hand, Staff very friendly and efficient, with a very nice breakfast in the morning. Would definately rebook next time were in the area.

Great location mixed thoughts on stay at hotel
When we first arrived there was no on site parking available and had to park in a public car park (£11 per day). Luckily we managed to find a free space when we got in after midnight and decided to move the car in. The parking is really tight and if you have a big car, you may have more of a struggle. We have an audi q3 and took my husband about 15mins or more getting frustrated with a million turns to turn the car around so he did not have to reverse out of the long narrow road. As for the hotel itself, the staff were friendly and helpful. However we did find they were really busy and things like breakfast and even being offered a drink could take 20minutes or longer. The breakfast was delicious and filling and lots of options! The bedroom had no AC as advertised on hotels.com. the bed was really comfortable. The shower was really loud. The floors were squeaky and kept waking me up throughout the night when other people went to their rooms (as sounded like someone coming into our room). We had a room on the balcony area. The location was great and within steps on the bridge into windsor and all the restaurants etc. We did not take the car out until we checked out.

First trip to Windsor
The staff were excellent. Left the car and visited Winsor all day. Bar had a nice drink and top notch breakfast.

Great place to stay for visiting Windsor
Visited the area for a trip to Windsor Castle. The hotel was located in Eton just a few minutes walk to the bridge with Windsor on the other side. The room was well decorated, with a very comfy bed and the large ensuite was really lovely - a huge shower and separate bath on legs. Everything was really clean. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night and both had steaks which were delicious. Breakfast was served at our table and there was a good choice of cooked items. The staff were lovely - very attentive and helpful.

Weekend in Windsor
Hotel great location. Rooms clean and modern (superior room) with bath and shower. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Parking is tight and not many spaces.

Perfect staycation
What a great hotel for a short break with the family during covid. The room was clean the staff were friendly and all prepared for covid. It was the perfect little place to get away for a night or two, plus it's dog friendly so we were able to take our Boston terrier with us. 😍.

This is a simple but well run hotel ideally situated outside the bustle of Windsor but only 5 minutes walk across Elton Bridge and in the delightful Main Street of Eton. The mews style rooms were large and well furnished and the bathroom new and well fitted. Parking can be a challenge for longer cars and cannot be reserved. Breakfast was substantial and included in price. All in all a very good two night stay.

Marvellous night
Lovely rooms and fabulous showers. Towels, sheets, pillows, beds - best night's sleep for a long time. The staff were brilliant. Every single person we encountered during our stay was really helpful and smiley - would definitely stay again.
