신혼여행으로 다녀왔습니다. 리모델링했다고 하던데 그래서 그런지 정말 깨끗하고 청소도 잘 해주고 매우 훌륭한 호텔이었습니다~ 강추합니다!

그냥 그래요..시설이 오래되서 좋지는않음 객실 미니바 없고 청소요청했는데 타올만 갈아줌 ㅜㅜ 그래도 리셉션은 친절하고 관광투어 있어서 편하게 투어는 했고 위치는 가까운편이지만 씨티에 모여있는 호텔중에서는 제일 끝 아 그리고 방음이 안됨.............ㅡㅡ;;;;

커플인데..넓은 싱글배드2개?
여자친구와 방문하기 전 예약시 요청사항에 더블침대를 원한다고 썼는데 싱글침대 두개 있는 룸으로 안내 해 주더군요. 우리가 작은 관계로 싱글침대에서 자는데 큰 불편함은 없었습니다.

위치는좋지만..
라군근처의 번화가와 약간 거리가있어 조용하고 위치는 좋습니다. 그러나 객실에들어갈때마다 특유의 방향제 냄새가 너무 심해 머리가아팠고, 시설이 매우 낙후되었습니다. 리셉션직원도 그다지 친절하지 않습니다.

When we arrived to our room it smelt of mould and there was mould all over windows. Went to turn lights on in room, non existence, small orange down lights. There was no soap or shampoo and hate having a cold shower. Need to use lift and other people was using it to move furniture. I think the guest that stayed the same weekend as us should have been told it was the last weekend for it to be open cause of renovations.

Overall, very good. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Air conditioned comfort. Front and back entrances were handy.

Hotel is a bit dated and tired. Nice staff.
Staff was excellent, helpful and courteous. This hotel is closing down in two days for full renovation by the new owner. We had a good time, used the pool, restaurant. If you opt out of the daily cleaning you get $10 credit on your account every day that you opted out. Reducing your meal and drink cost.

Not an enjoyable stay!
This is the second time I have stayed at Rydges Tradewinds in Cairns. I stayed for a weekend in mid 2015. That stay was fairly average. Main concerns were the room was a bit dated. Other problem was very inconsistent internet. I was there for business and needed access to internet and it was exceptionally poor. I expressed my concerns to staff but got no constructive response. I stayed again last weekend, because my first choice hotel was booked out. The location of Tradewinds is good so I hoped changes had occurred since my last visit. Sadly, no. The first room I was given was tired and dated. Of real concern was a larger patch of black discolouring which looked like mould on the ceiling near the aircon. I requested another room and was given one. This room was much better. Again, the internet was very inconsistent and unreliable, cutting in an out repeatedly. When I raise this concern with staff I was told it was because the hotel was full and there was too much demand. If this was indeed the reason then it does not reflect well on the hotel that they can't consistently provide a stated service. I believe the problem was an inadequate IT infrastructure. I was using internet at 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on consecutive mornings. There was no difference with internet at those times when users would have been minimal. This issue was seriously frustrating and inhibited work productivity. Last morning, no hot water at all in the bathroom. Very poor given cost charged.

Everything very comfortable. Staff exceedingly helpful and friendly. The hotel position is excellent. Very good value.

旅行滞在中、ケアンズ中心部に毎日徒歩で出掛けるにはギリギリのロケーション。
値段を考えれば妥当。全体的に痛みや汚れが目立つが、部屋は十分に広く、ベッドも快適だった。但し、フリーアクセスが売りのWiFiが滞在中全く使い物にならなかった。フロントに確認したら、一部故障したためと説明されたが、ロビーでしかまともに使えず残念だった。

Brilliant Executive Rooms
We stayed on the executive floor in one of the suites and it didn't disappoint. The rooms were clean modern and had a well stocked bar and espresso machine. Staff were friendly and happy to help with any request. Definitely stay again.

Good location,
Great location, the property is about to have a very much needed refurbishment. I would like to revisit after the renovations are completed as I think it will be absolutely beautiful. All considered I enjoyed my stay.

Need improvement
Construction was going on, and our room was located probably just under the site. It was extremely noisy and we could not even talk in the room as we could not hear each other. We asked for another room. The receptionist was very kind and efficient to organise a room change. However we wonder why in the first place they assigned our room in the noisy area knowing we would be staying for several days. They could have paid more attention to this and done a proper room assignment. As we got an interconnecting room, we heard some irritating noises from neighbours but did not care much. However, one neighbour was chatting all night and we had to wake up in the middle of the night and call reception. Thanks to the receptionist, they stopped chatting loudly afterwards. Hotel itself seemed quite old. That was not really a matter, but aircon and ceiling needed to be cleaned as they were dusty. I got bitten by something and had a rush while I was sleeping.Afterall, I got 7 red spots on my right leg and 3 on my left leg. Cleanliness standard should be improved. None of the reception staff was friendly or attentive. They only greeted when we approach to the front desk countre. Service standard should be improved as well.

Bad conditions for a 4* hotel
We checked in and were taken into our room. The smell of mold was VERY strong, and we noticed that the "popcorn ceiling" was full of mold. Being allergic to mold, I asked to change rooms. A person from the staff showed us another 3 rooms - all with the same problem. We picked with room with the less amount/smell of mold (still strong in my opinion). A few nights later we were awakened by very loud sounds that seemed to come from the pipes or AC. The staff at reception explained that now we had "neighbors" upstairs and that this horrible sound might come whenever they flush the toilet or have a shower. So until those guys settled down for the night, we couldn't sleep. The same happening in the following nights until we left. The hotel in general is quite old, and it was a very disappointing experience for a 4* hotel.

Old and dirty
We stayed in this hotel and couldn't wait to leave. The rooms were beyond dirty with a thick layer (2-3cm) of dust covering the fans and other surfaces of the room. The room smelt terrible and there was black mould on the ceiling. Needs to be cleaned thoroughly and updated. The staff were understanding and helpful in finding us a cleaner room with minimal fuss.

Was once a nice hotel.
This hotel is very central but seriously needs an up grade and a good clean. The hallways weren't vacuumed and the lifts were very dirty. The beds were past there use by.

The rooms in this hotel were inexpensive but you get what you pay for. check in was great and easy; hotel lobby smells musty, glass doors are not shiny, pool area, and room balconies need a good power washing and repaint. Rooms are pretty and were mostly very clean however, fabric sofa, dining chairs and carpet were stained in spots. WIFI is terrible. We were on the 7th floor Executive suite, corner room and the bedroom had no wifi at all the rest of the suite had sporatic WIFI.

The guy who checked us in was clearly new but had zero personality, never smiled, gave us zero information about our stay or the hotel and didn't even greet us when we walked in either. The room itself was very dated and smelled odd and dingy. It was very dark and placement for outlets were in weird places around the room. Felt very dirty. The wifi is terrible. Couldn't wait to check out.

Old and rundown
This place needs a revamp. It's old, mouldy, dusty and needs new cleaners. We had to keep in our minds that it was only $127 per night and you get for what you pay. Our room had food (chocolate, not in a wrapper) that was left on the tv stand, the see through curtains had mould that probably too much dust and not enough cleaning and the moisture and humidity from when the door is open has caused this. Room was dusty on just about every ledge. The pool fountain was old mouldy and had wires hanging out where the water would fall out. Pool also had that many patch jobs and was rough as in places. As for wi-fi, no point having it. Because of the amount of people in the hotel it would drop out as soon as it connected. perhaps up the usage to cater for the hotel consumption. The hotel staff we dealt with were lovely, which was the only good thing about the place.

Nice hotel, friendly and accommodating. E.g. Beach towels, umbrellas (monsoon season!) Needs a bit of tlc but as staff advised the hotel had been recently bought and being flattened and new luxury hotel built, I doubt they'll do much this season. That said, it's clean, pool is warm and kid friendly, location excellent- 10 min to reef terminal, 5 mins from cairns night market. Tour staff (Jenny and ?) are excellent, give good advice, listen and don't try to push on expensive trips where not necessary.

Nice hotel, close to restaurants and bars
We stayed for 2 nights and although it rained most of the time, the hotel was walking distance from the restaurants, night markets and bars. Great views of the esplanade and ocean. We will stay there again

Wi-Fiが繋がりにくいですが、綺麗で快適でした。フロントに日本人の方がいて安心でした。空港行きのシャトルバスもフロントで予約できました。

靠近海灘，酒店有車往返市区，十分方便
泳池夠大，环境优美好舒服。近海灘，散步好环境。步行出入市区，碼頭十多分鈡。酒店亦有免費車接送。附近多種餐廳，咖啡店，甜品店可供選擇。自由行的最佳首選。
