Thank you for the information, but so wish you would have came to us while you were here. You happen to be here on a holiday weekend, and the door you are speaking about was damaged a day before and we did try to repair it before you arrived, but we did not have the correct person to do so. We tried to get help but as I stated it was a holiday weekend. But we are a very safe motel, and yes the windows are unlocked for guest to decide if they want fresh air or not. The manager reside here and has always been safe. You were more than welcome to lock your windows...Thank you for staying with us. again, apologize for the situation

We are sorry about the shower, but the water does need to be ran for a bit, they are not used everyday, all day so it does take some time for the water to get hot in all the rooms.

We did have towel hooks are the doors, and also over the door ones. I am sorry the room you had was missing it.. But all rooms did have them. Please if you ever visit again just ask, we would have been more then happy to have replaced them. We apologize

Sorry that you thought our pool was locked and closed but it was open. If there was an issue with the lock the office staff would have helped you. I was here on the property that morning and guests were in the pool that morning. Sorry for the confusion.

Very sorry you did not have a positive stay but as I checked all of your paperwork, there was not one thing told to the front desk the entire time you stayed with us. IF you were not happy with the room , why would you not come to the office. We would have been more than happy to do what we had to , to make your stay more comfortable. I dont understand why you would wait to leave and than write such a negative review about the property, if you didnt say anything when you were here. This could have been taking care of. as far as sand, we clean every room everyday, we sweep and vacuum and mop. Every room is a little humid, do to the fact our water table is very high here, you are 1.5 blks away from the Ocean, and a block away from a lake, so yes the do get damp, but again if you would have came to the office we could have helped with that. Ants are something we have all summer, we have sprayed professionally , also have traps around the property. Again another issue which we could have helped with.. This would not have been a negative review, if you would have given us a chance. And every other guest at the same time you were here, have all positive remarks. So I am sorry that You had a bad experience. But we appreciate all of our guests suggestions, complaints, praise. You are all equal to us. You are all treated the same.

I'm sorry you felt your stay was not what you expected but as advertised check in time is at 3pm. The office opened at 2pm. Your arrival time was 1pm. That was why we were not there. We were not aware that you felt this way about the bed. The office would have accommodated you with another room to have made your stay more comfortable. We do apologize .

Hi thank you for the review, it is appreciated. I apologize if it seemed musty. We will figure out a way to get rid of that. We do have RID in the rooms for that, but I think when the rooms are just opened and redone for season there might be that Beach/Ocean odor. Which does go away after they are in use a few days, also could have been from the AC.. all rooms are cleaned from ceiling to floor, every nook, every item. including the air condition units, the filters are cleaned through out the year, but just putting the ac on that could have been it also. We do apologize
