Nice peaceful place. Staff very friendly and co operative. Rooms bit small and less space to put your stuff. Need to provide toiletries according to need. Otherwise everything fine.

Property is located about 5 mins walk to the beach and off street parking is available. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay at the property.

This hotel was recommended to me. The location is perfect for ease of access to visit major landmarks. The staff were very helpful and the view was amazing

Pleasant stay
We stayed for a weekend over bonfire night, unfortunately the fireworks were cancelled but we can’t help the weather 😉 on arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a gentlemen who showed us to our room and offered to carry our luggage which was lovely. The room was an economy quad with a double bed and set of bunk beds. On the small side but was for for purpose for what we required. Decor and bathroom could do with being updated at some point, shower was lovely and powerful but the steam peeled the paper off the ceiling (extraction wasn’t great) overall a pleasant stay

Investment Needed
Last minute weekend away with my little boy so little availability elsewhere but found Fortuna. Pricing is excellent for time of year, but I must say it reflects in the accommodation also. Very very tired, and in need of investment. Twin room (room 8), paper thin walls, in need of a good paint everywhere, and removal of prison-type bathroom would help. Free wifi, but unfortunately doesn't reach to top floor room. The only thing that marks this place up is the host. Polite, helpful, and very pleasant gentleman. I won't be going back, but as a play to lay your head only, ideally located for south pier and pleasure beach, aswell as Mcdonalds.

I didnt like the room was very dirty brown stains on bedsheets and pillows and curtains not joking and smells horrible . Would not recommend it to anyone .very disappointed

Absolutely disgusting! The hotel smells terrible! The shower was mouldy. The wallpaper was peeling off. Holes in the wall. The milk was off and set! I have never stayed anywhere so filthy! There were cobwebs all over the room! The toilet roll holder was smashed leaving a sharp edge which caught my arm!

Cheap, you get what you pay for. The photographs make it look acceptable but in reality it’s disgusting. Needs an entire refurbish. Wallpaper peeling off, ceiling cracks, a dead spider in the wardrobe and a TV that’s the size of a tablet. It’s just unkempt, and needs some money spent on it. Luckily was only for the weekend, tried to stay out as late as possible just to avoid staying there. Would recommend looking elsewhere.

Weekend break hotel, adequate for our needs. Small rooms, not the Ritz but you get what you pay for! Clean bed sheets and towels and good shower. Would stay again!

Wouldn't let a dog stay here
Location was good but the hotel it's self was outdated needs a lot of work done. Small toilet area with a big hand basin over lapping the toilet it's self shower was dirty. Mold on the bedroom certain could not look out of windows due to being really dirty. Wallpaper was ripped in places and marks all over. A small TV which you could only see from 1 bed due to location on wall Also a bad smell in hotel was not pleasent. WiFi did not work. I would not be staying here again ever.

Room was in appalling condition.
Horrible experience for myself and my family. Wallpaper hanging off the wall as was the tv. Shower wouldn't go off no clean towels daily, room wasn't cleaned daily either. Do not book!!

Rooms not decorated like the advertised one.
Room was nothing like the lovely room that is advertised on the pictures. Tatty wallpaper, plug sockets right in the midddle of the wall so anything plugged in was hanging in mid air over one of the beds. Not enough sockets either, so it was a choice of having tv or heating. Bed right in front of the window. The main living area downstairs was nice, just think the bedroom needed an overhaul. We still had a good time but would have been nice to have a room that we thought we had booked.

Pleasant greeting on arrival very helpful and curteous. room was exceptionally clean small but comfy and cosy. 2 day stay was very good and i would recommend staying here its so close to the station the pleasure beach south pier and the beach. all in all very well situated and well worth booking and staying here

Our room not like the photos
Our room was not anything like the photos, dated, didn't get clean towels or tea/coffee for the second day Wasn't asked how our stay was. We know it was cheap but we could have got better room closer to the time on a last minute deal. Wires behind TV where strip light used to be, strip light on another wall but did not work, suspect it's not connected.

The kids and I loved the hotel. We had sent a message about early basic breakfast, but thishe did not get mentioned when we arrived and the sign said breakfast at 9am which was too late for us as had things planed. Apart from this we found it family friendly and would return there again.

A Very Happy Customer! Highly Recommend!
If you want a great value hotel that's only 5mins from the Beach, then Fortuna House Hotel is the place! I just wanted a double room for a couple of days with my family, that wasn't too expensive. At first I was worried that because of the cheap price the hotel would not be clean but I couldn't have been more wrong. The room and beds were spotless, everything was clean and I definitely will be coming back again. Our host Sujad was great too! Thanks for a lovely stay!!

You get what you pay for, but it works
The condition of the property is a bit run down, but it serves it's purpose. For the price paid, I can't grumble too much. I'd have liked the shower rail to be fitted and not wedged at a certain angle to stop it falling out and for the bathroom window not to need catching before falling off when I opened it. All in all, it was comfortable enough, just in need of some TLC.

Clean And Quiet Hotel
I don't normally take the time to write reviews but after staying here for four days I would like to say that the hotel is very clean and well presented for you, very pleased with the cleanliness. The owners are also pleasant and check with you to ask if you need anything, yet let you have your own space to do your own thing. Nice and quiet place, great for people who don't like a rowdy environment or great for families. Would stay again.

Went to stay there for 2 night it was ok but my room smelled like damp n plus it was cold had to ask for a heater was kindly given one it was quiet and last but not least we had to get out at 10 but we asked if we could stay until 12 n Wat was the charges and the kind man said it was free so was happy for the rest staff from the hotel was kind n helpful

The hotel was absolutely awful!! There was no parking near the hotel you got into the room & the walls were plastered in mould! The shower looked like something from the 1960's & again was covered in mould not the mention our room had a leak whenever the room above had a shower this leak was right next to the bathroom light! The walls may as well been made of paper cos you could hear every conversation on the floor above & below you as well as the room next to you also the beds weren't even clean there were stains on the sheets & the bed frame was actually broke! awful hotel wouldn't stay again if you paid me!!!

Good location disgusting room
The room we stayed in was a triple room and in the 20 years I have never been in a room so disgusting. Now you dont expect the ritz at a b and b in blackpool but you dont expect black mould all over the bathroom ceiling, rusty radiators shaving lights that are smashed and not working, the headboard filthy, window openers so rusted they were disintegrating. The wallpaper was dirty, thats wher wallpaper was it stopped halfwsy and rest was painted. The ceiling plain wallpaper was plain but peeling off with yellow stains. There was one power point which had an old ectension right next to the door which was dangerous in itself, the extension wasnt even surge protected and one of the 4 socets didnt even work! The light switch was cracked, no bedside lamps as there wasnt any power points anyway and as for the extractor fanbinvthe bathroom I can go on After one night i wouldnt even wash and certainly not clean my teeth. I went down in the morning to move out of the hotel after one night btw there is no english breakfast expect cereals and a croissant. The owner didnt even come to the room to see the state. The only good thing I can say is the owner was polite and when i asked for a full refund he had no hesitation though i did check with expedia 1st. We left the hotel looking for another to continye our holiday luckily after 3 streets wecfound one. Please travellers it's the 1st rrview ive written the room i stayedvin wss not fit for human habitation.

Ear plugs needed
Tiny room. It appeared cleanish. Needs some serious TLC. People above our room (I believed the owners children) were playing music and dancing around during the night in to the very early hours. Due to it being an older property it sounded like they were jumping up and down around our heads. So not much sleep was had.
