Wonderful B&B, Jane was very accommodating and the room was spacious and had everything we needed. If only it hadn’t rained we could have enjoyed the beautiful gardens!

This property has to be the nicest B&B I have stayed in ever, throughout my UK and European travels. Jane kept in touch right up to check in, she gave us the most lovely welcome and the property was outstanding, very clean and bring with a really nice style and feel. The dining room was amazing along with the scenery and gardens with summer house and endless views. The breakfast was perfect, the bed and room was extremely comfortable and welcoming. Complimentary tea, coffee and fudge was so lovely. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone and I will definitely be staying in touch with Jane for any further travel in the south when I need a place to stay.

We had a great stay, some nice extras like a pot of fudge in room and chilled bottled water. Very friendly people, great surroundings and excellent breakfast

Very welcoming and comfortable
Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Great location close to Dartmoor. Our room opened out onto the gardens and woods. Went for a walk through the woods to the vineyard. Hearty breakfast every morning. Very welcoming.

We had a friendly welcome by host, our room - the blue room was very spacious. A chair with arms had been added for my mum. We liked the flasks of fresh milk & the fudge! Breakfast was pre-ordered and time pre-arranged the day before. Property was very clean and comfortable with beautiful grounds

A lovely Place.
A lovely place, very welcoming. A lovely summer room in the garden for an evening drink and relax. Breakfast was great. We only stayed one night but it looked like a really good base to explore the local area from. Would definitely recommend.

From arrival to departure this was a 1st class experience. The hostess was charming, she made sure our stay was memorable. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Our breakfasts were of a high standard. We will definitely be re-visiting.

The property is set in the gorgeous Devon countryside with beautiful views. The gardens are huge and really well kept. There is even a wood to wander in. There were loads of lovely sitting areas in the garden which was much appreciated at the moment when it is so much better to be outside. The rooms were beautifully decorated and included lots of really thoughtful touches. They were also absolutely immaculate and so clean. (Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the room before our stuff was scattered everywhere!) We stayed in the blue family room which has its own garden entrance and in the luxury double the 2nd night which is stylishly decorated and has its own balcony. Jane is a kind and helpful host who is really quick to communicate with. She provided us with loads of great tips about the local area too. The breakfast was really delicious too. Overall a wonderful stay in this little piece of Devon Heaven. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful and welcoming - would recommend
I had a wonderful stay at Lobhill Farmhouse. I could not fault anything. The room was lovely and comfortable and the hosts were extremely welcoming and helfpul. Freshly home-cooked breakfast a real bonus.

Wonderful Host
Jane is a wonderful host and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was great and she catered for my specific dietary needs with no hesitation. Whilst in the area Jane pointed me in the direction of some lovely things to do and it was nice to meet some of the other guests during breakfast who are returning customers and it's clear to see why people want to return! Thank you for a wonderful stay I will definitely stay if I'm in the area again.

Attentive host and very beautiful place
This was my first time in a bed and breakfast only used to chain hotels. This was fabulous if I return I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great B&B
This B&B is better than a hotel. Jane was very welcoming and made us some delicious cookies upon arrival. The views are gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and breakfast was filling! Cannot fault this place in anyway! If I am back in the area I have no doubts I will stay here.

Great place to stay
Beautiful setting with very friendly staff. Upon arrival we were offered freshly made biscuits and refreshments. Very comfortable room and a cracking breakfast the next morning. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing
Stopped here for the night on my way north - whilst the owner was friendly enough my welcome lacked the warmth I had experienced throughout my travels in the UK -a bit cold and unfriendly. It was a windy night and walls were paper thin so I could hear the people in the adjoining rooms and something was rattling and banging on the roof all night so little sleep was had. Breakfast was mediocre - not a patch on other B&Bs I had been to on my travels - overall a little disappointing.

Charming stay
Beautiful B&B on large land you can take walks. Hotel.com said breakfast is not included with price but it did. Host cooked for each request in magazine like charming dining room with special dinnerware. It's on out of country so you have to drive shortly for dinner.

Village b and b
Touch difficult to find at very end of village on winding road with no pavement or ready stopping point to search. Very satisfactory for my purpose - a two day stay. Good value overall

Perfect location for nearby wedding
Perfect location for the local wedding we attended. The host was pleasant and friendly, offering things to do locally. The room was clean, bright and really large. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic. There are local gardens and a nice walk nearby, as well as a local vineyard. The lady running it drove up to the B&B to talk about it's history, and of course sell us a couple bottles of wine. All in all a very good stay!

Beautiful, comfortable and friendly
It was a shame Jane wasn't here but she did ring prior to coming to let me know. The house is beautiful, it's so quiet and the views are to die for. Shame there's no desk to do some work on but i could've easily done it on the kitchen table. Cats are friendly, food was nice and I would happily stay again and again.

A warm welcome, lovely property and room made for a relaxing stay and good nights sleep. Happy to return when I am in the area again. I would recommend Lobhill Farmhouse.

Great location, centrally positioned in Devon.
Very comfortable and clean. Room cleaned daily. Our lovely host Jane made us most welcome, and provided a great cooked breakfast every day. The BnB within lovely grounds with pretty garden. On the A30, so quick access to Launceston only 6 miles, and okehampton . Quick access to both north and south coasts of Devon. Great local pubs. Friendly locals. I would definitely recommend it.

Convenient stopover
Broke our journey for one night on the way to Padstow. Very friendly hostess, lovely room, wonderful breakfast. Some superb restaurants nearby for an evening meal and a lovely location. Recommended.
