This was our fourth visit in 3 months. This hotel has been excellent in the past but standards have declined noticeably in recent months. Maintenance in the rooms is poor. Every room we've had, has leaky taps which soak the floor. The sink plugs don't work and on this occasion the hairdryer wasn't working. And, as was the case for a previous reviewer, the room clock was still on 'summer time'.
Worst of all is the ineffective or non-functioning heating. On every recent visit, we've had to request the heating be switched on/re-set (or had to change rooms because it was simply too cold & could not get solved).
I do not expect to visit a hotel and then go through the same routine, every time, of complaining about the absence of heating. I paid for a room. I expect it to have acceptable, controllable heating as part of the service.
This used to be an excellent airport hotel, and much better than the competition but those days seem to be history.
