This is a very tiny hotel room. Just a good location to the beach. The price was steep. We stayed at 2 other hotels on this business trip and this one was the least enjoyable. Probably won’t stay here ever again but it just was like a motel six closet size room. The bed was comfortable and it was clean though

The people-less check in was strange. The overhead light never went on and its remote control unit was useless. The morning coffee was great.

Complete smoke and mirrors, pictures are not what the rooms look like and what comes in them. Worse experience ever. There isn’t an office you can go to just a phone for someone who doesn’t answer and then texts you asking what you want. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ever.

Likes: Close to the beach. Dislikes: Not walkable, Quite the walk to restaurants and didn't feel like the safest area to walk back to at night, low lighting on streets, ran down areas you had to walk by, including a couple shady looking bars.Hotel pool was cloudy and did not look clean, didn't want to get in it due to how the water looked. Big cockroaches where seen multiple times in the outside sitting area's when I was trying to relax. Parking is a limited and NOT guaranteed. The room had a mini fridge (like a little square one) sitting on the floor, making it very hard to access that low and when i opened the door underneath it was grossly dirty and looked like something had leaked out of the fridge but not cleaned up. No microwave in the room. Front office people not very friendly, i went in twice to ask questions and both times felt like they were being bothered by my presence and questions. While it looks very cute in the pictures I would not stay here again.

Bed was comfortable but room was very small. More hooks are needed in the bathroom for hanging towels. They could use a line for hanging bathing suits in the shower. I prefer to have my room cleaned daily. Pool was small and pool lounge chairs too low to the ground.

Very clean and the staff are excellent!!! Easy walking for dining and shopping. It's on the quite end of Mandalay which was nice. The parking is not desirable as very few parking spots, we figured out quickly to leave car parked and walk everywhere. The bathroom was very very small not desirable at all. Other then bathroom and parking the place is a great place to stay. Will definitely stay there again.

The room had little power points no place to charge a phone from a usb . The bathroom was very small was tiny smaller than on a cruise ship. The air-conditioning was so noisy luck it had a fan in the ceiling. Car parking is not the best you can get a pass to park in the street in front of hotel if there are spaces. The area where the hotel is not the best part of Clearwater. The pool area is very small not the nicest.

The room was clean. That's top for me. Very quiet area. Super close to the beach. Its a bit of a walk to Peir 60, but not too bad. I like that beach towels are provided and some people leave beach chairs and umbrellas that are free for use. I have a couple thimgs to be critical about...The rooms are very small. No chairs in the rooms so you have to sit on the bed. The bathroom is SMALL! Like, can't bend over to wash your feet in the shower small. Like, sit on the toilet with your feet on the wdge of the shower small. But at least it's clean. And I wish there was a coffee pot in the room. Coffee is.provided in the pool area however. The pool and pool chairs could use a good scrub. I do think the rooms were overpriced for what was provided.

This was our 3rd stay at Hotel Cabana the last 3 years. The location is walkable to the shops and Pier 60 as well as the bars on the north side of Clearwater Beach.

There were no chairs in the room. There were no drinking cups in the room. The AC unit was extremely loud to the point of disrupting sleep. Walls are very thin allowing you to hear adjacent room conversations.

I liked the price, location and overall design and decor of the property. It was clean and quiet. It’s at the end of all the hustle and bustle yet still walkable to shops and restaurants. Super close to the beach. The checkin process was very simple. Pool area super cute. The only drawbacks I thought were the bed was only a full size. The room could fit a queen size I’d think. It was very uncomfortable. The pillows could have been better as well. I wished there was a coffee pot in room as well. I didn’t care for coffee served by pool area. The only other thing was I thought that the a/c was super loud. Overall I did like the place. It was perfect for what we needed.

Room was much smaller than I anticipated. Bathroom was tiny with nowhere to put any toiletries. Bedroom had a nice king size bed and a dresser but nowhere to sit. Small kitchenette was good. Outside pool area was the saving grace. We ate meals and relaxed in this area. Room was clean but outside trash cans were overflowing. Coffee ran out most mornings by 8:30 even though it was supposed to be available until 10:00. We requested a coffee maker in the room but it wasn’t provided. We liked the smaller property in the quieter part of Clearwater Beach but would not return.

The hotel was quiet and clean. When I had a question about parking, the staff was quick to answer (by text), and the room was very comfortable. Only drawback was lack of outlets - could have used one more outside bathroom. Overall, a very positive experience for my first time visiting Clearwater Beach and the Hotel Cabana.

Although a small room in a classic motel style property, the room and common facilities are nicely updated. No front desk personnel, but communication was quick and no wait with remote management staff. Also, BIG Kudos to management, our flight was delayed and we were allowed to stay several hours longer at no charge!

Online pictures were misleading. Was not informed until after booking that no one was onsite to assist. Beware “petite room” is tres tres petite! Told front desk had change machine and detergent for laundry in pre arrival email then told after arrival this was no longer available. Bathroom sink was just a bit larger than an airplane bathroom sink. Handle on our door broke and had difficulty locking door upon leaving then opening door upon return. “Concierge” never callled back…only communicated via text. Rooms were so thin we could hear people all around us through the thin walls. We don’t usually leave poor reviews either.

Wir, Familie, zwei Kinder, waren sehr enttäuscht über den Zustand des Hotels. Die Zimmer waren sehr im die Jahre gekommen und teils kaputtes Mobiliar vorhanden. Die Tür im Bad war nach einem anscheinenden Wasserschaden total aufgequollen, in der Dusche hing die Deckenlampe halb runter. Im Küchenschrank wohnte eine Kakerlake. Das Schlafsofa, war sehr fleckig und schmuddelig, außerdem war es nicht bezogen, obwohl wir extra eine Suite gebucht hatten, in welcher das Schlafsofa als zweites Bett angegeben war. Insgesamt war es leider kein schöner Aufenthalt. Einen Ansprechpartner hat man leider auch nicht, da es keine besetzte Rezeption gibt. Insgesamt leider auch viel zu teuer für den vorgefundenen Zustand.

The property was decent at best. My bedroom was located off a noisy side road. The garbage container was behind the wall where my bed was located and woke me up two mornings. It was loud and annoying. One of the lamps on the bedroom wall was broken. One positive was plenty of towels for shower and pool. I expected better for $200 a night.

Great value and an excellent location to enjoy Clearwater Beach. Rooms were recently renovated, the property has a relaxing pool area, and it's easily walkable to restaurants, stores, and the beach. Easy check in and good amenities too.

Literally a small walk to the beach and the rooms were so clean especially being so close. Great rooms and if you were staying long the room has a fridge and microwave, dishes etc. lots of places to sit outside and the community sand toys were a hit to borrow. Easy check in and check out.

The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfortable, we’ve never slept so well on vacation. Check in was a breeze and the staff was quick with requests. The only down side was construction in the area but that couldn’t be helped. Well worth the 15 hour drive from Maryland. We may have found a new vacation spot!

This hotel is such a cozy little gem. A perfect place to enjoy the surrounding beach that is only a few steps away. The area is beautiful, with many restaurants and shops in the nearby area. The staff were super helpful and nice, even if they are only in contact via phone (they don't have a physical reception desk) My only dislike was the parking. They don't have that many available for guest (only about 8-10 for the whole hotel) The extra ones are technically beach parking, so you have to pay an hourly fee. I did call reception and they told me they have parking permits on a mailbox, but none of the days I stayed there where available to pick, and there wasn't any staff on location that could help me. I talked to other guest and they sadly encounter the same problem, one of them even getting a parking ticket. We ended up paying for the parking daily. I could see myself staying again at this hotel, but maybe without a car.

Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that the wifi was slow and didnt work on our rooms tv, and the check-in instructions received in my email did not at all indicate a contactless check-in so I was a little confused upon arrival. A quick text from the hotel cleared up the check-in however and it was an all around good stay the rest of our time here! Would recommend
