This was my second time staying at the masseria in two months. I stayed here in July with a friend and returned in September with my mother. In both stays, the staff at this family run hotel was extremely warm and helpful. All of our requests were accommodated. For example, when i needed to use my work computer and could not do to security settings on my laptop, the staff logged me onto the staff wifi rather than the unsecured guest wifi (this is something other hotels refuse to do). The property is beautiful, especially the pool, which is enormous and easy to enter (sloping ground rather than stairs) - important if you’re traveling with older family members. The parking is free and easy - which makes day trips to nearby towns like Gallipoli, Otranto or the beach areas very easy. In the morning there is a generous breakfast buffet with plenty of salty and sweet, healthy or indulgent options. I believe all the rooms have private patio facing the garden or at least garden access - at least the four rooms I saw on my two visits. There is also a nice courtyard where they light a fire pit in September (not in July because it’s too hot). Overall the property has many cozy areas to sit and read a book or do some work on your laptop.

Little Oasis
A lovely hotel just 10 minutes drive to Lecce. Out side of the hotel was not that nice but the hotel was a Little Oasis, The bedroom as on the small side with the highest bed I’ll ever had to get into. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

My friend and I spent 4 nights at Masseria Luciagiovanni. We each had garden rooms - mine had a large private covered patio with a daybed and sofa for relaxing outdoors. My friend’s room did not have private outdoor space but he had a larger interior - with a king sized bed. We both loved the swimming pool and the friendly staff. Although the hotel is on the edge of town it’s very convenient for parking and driving to the beaches. I would definitely come back.

Magnifique hôtel
Tout était super. L’hôtel est vraiment magnifique avec son style oriental. L’accueil et le personnel (Betty et Mohamed) sont chaleureux. La nourriture est très bonne. La chambre est spacieuse et bien decorée avec un accès sur un jardin, topissime. J’ai tout aimé. Les photos sur le site ne sont pas représentatives de la beauté de l’hotel

Bad smell in room, bad lighting in room, only one small window. Thin walls. Broken brick tiles in floor so everything got red. Hole place needs a renovation.

Moroccan Oasis outside of Lecce
Had a great stay. The pool area is amazing, you feel like you are in a luxury hotel. Breakfasts were great, lots of choice and gorgeous fresh juices (often the juice in Italian hotels taste like squash!). Had a couple of meals which were just okay but could of been bad choices on my part. My only complaint was the small bedroom which because of the Moroccan vibe was very dark with heavy furniture. However there was a gorgeous garden outside with your own private daybed and sofa. Lots of nice touches too including dressing gowns, slippers and quality toiletries. Overall really recommend. You do definitely need a car as the immediate surrounding area wasn’t the best - a bit of a waste ground. However once passed the gates you were in a Moroccan oasis.

Un oasis ds le Salento !
Ne pas se fier à la zone HLM que l’on travers avt d’arriver à la Masseria car celle-ci est un véritable oasis ds le désert du salento ! L’hôtel est magnifique et la piscine sublime ! On se croirait ds la palmeraie de Marrakech !

de kamer (28) rook erg muf, en schimmel op de vloer. ook het hout van de kasten stonk enorm. was tevens behoorlijk stoffig en verf stukken van muren. ontbijt is van 8-10 uur, dus wekker zetten om ontbijt halen. Ontbijt was verder prima en service ook, alleen jammer dat weinig engels spraken. zwembad en de bedden waren heerlijk en schoon. zit wel een stukje uit centrum, zonder auto is geen optie. prijs kwaliteit verhouding is niet goed, moest €1720 betalen voor 1 week en dat is achteraf echt te veel.

Freundliche Atmosphäre sowie aufmerksames Personal. Die Auswahl und das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken (bezogen auf das Frühstück) ist gut. Uns hat die Lage am Sstadtrand nicht so gut gefalllen, ist wenn man im Hotel ist aber nicht ganz schlimm, dennoch fehlte die Ländlichkeit. Alles in Allem zu empfehlen.

Nice hotel and spa. The pool area is amazing with the sun beds and the pool is nice. Spa is very good and the rooms are designed to make u think u are in Morroco. In general everything was very good. Especially the food. The aperitifs of two non alcoholic cocktails with Olives was a bit dear and bathroom door kept sticking apart from that very good

Sfeervol hotel met de sfeer van Marrakech.
Prachtig groot zwembad met geweldige ligbedden. Sfeervol restaurant . Sfeervol hotel Marokkaanse sfeer . Oase tussen de flatgebouwen . Ligt handig aan de rondweg . Aardig personeel. Goed ontbijt. Kleine handdoeken in de kamer . De kamer was erg klein. Sommige spullen zijn aan vervanging toe. Grote fijne douchekop . Airco werkt goed. Groot hemelbed.

A place with potential but too few guests made it a bit boring. Imagine a Holliday resort with only 10 guests. But the place itself has its charms

Beautiful surroundings and very well presented
We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the hotel. Good location. After five days we did get a bit tired of the hotel menu but the pool and gardens were really relaxing and the staff very helpful.

A piece of heaven on earth
What a find ! A beautiful Moroccan style hotel just outside Lecce which is a beautiful medieval town. The staff were incredible, from Frederica and Marissa who run the place through to Gino, Mohammed and Mustafa Who run the restaurant and bar and who made us feel so at home. The food was great, the service impeccable, the swimming pool area just delightful and so comfortable, and at night after dinner we'd sit around the fire pit drinking coffee and smoking Shisha. We stayed 5 nights and really didn't want to leave. Lots of lovely places to visit in the vicinity, but always so welcoming when we got back ! I can't recommend this place enough. We will return !!

Top Masseria
Very nice and cute masseria. Felt like being in Marrakesh while being in Puglia. The front desk was very helpful and smiling all the time despite numerous questions about the area and activities around. The rooms were clean and tidy and spacious. Wonderful stay. Federica and Mohamed were extremely kind and helpful. Definitely to try!

Struttura stupenda
La struttura è senza dubbio bellissima, migliorerei sicuramente le portate al ristorante in quanto non ho riscontrato qualità in rapporto al prezzo che è comunque caro, poi il Chekout è alle 11 ma la donna delle pulizie veniva già a bussare dalle 10 e questa cosa penalizza tantissimo La doccia della camera non è una delle Migliori... Ma sicuramente è una struttura che consiglierei almeno una volta

più che un soggiorno una esperienza unica
Appena si varca la soglia del complesso, si viene catapultati in un'altro luogo; sembra di essere improvvisamente arrivati a Marrakech! Pur trattandosi di una antica masseria, l'allestimento ela''redamento di tutti gli ambienti, curati in ogni minimo particolare, ricreano l'atmosfera che si può trovare nel Maghreb. La struttura è particolarissima, molto suggestiva e rende il soggiorno un'esperienza unica. Personale dell'hotel molto molto cortese e disponibile,stanza confortevole e accogliente, dotata anche di una piacevole veranda. Si consumano i pasti affacciati su una bellissima piscina. il tutto a cinque minuti di distanza dalla città... caldamente consigliato!

Un "riad" alle porte di Lecce.
Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte. Struttura molto piacevole. Arredata tutta in stile marocchino. Sembra veramente un riad. Questa è una scelta di stile e gusto della proprietà. Personalmente io preferisco uno stile più in linea con il luogo di ubicazione, ma questo nulla toglie alla cura con cui è stato realizzato è mantenuto. Non abbiamo potuto usufruire della splendida piscina vista la stagione. Sicuramente rivisto al caldo della stagione estiva, potrebbe prendere una luce ancor più interessante.

Posto incantevole
Si è rivelato il posto ideale per staccare un weekend e rilassarsi, nonostante fossimo a due passi da casa. Appena si varca la soglia della reception, si abbandona l'Italia e ci si tuffa in Marocco. Non mancano gli ottimi cibi, una fusione tra cibi locali e marocchini, le camere sono confortevoli, ahimè poco luminose, ma credo sia la caratteristica della location a chiedere poca luce. Soddisfatto, ci tornerò senz'altro il prossimo anno.

Fabulous staff, but hotel and spa a slight letdown
We stayed for a week in early September, as part of my honeymoon. We had a wonderful stay, using the hotel/spa as a base to explore the local area. We were slightly unlucky with the weather, which meant we couldn't get quite as much use out of some of the facilities as we'd hoped (the outdoor pool is rather lovely), but this didn't detract from a wonderful stay. The staff are amazingly helpful, almost too much so at times... We couldn't fault their attentiveness one bit. We stayed in one of the suites, which was nice and big; the sitting room was almost too big, as it meant you were miles away from a modest-sized TV if you ever wanted to watch it. The rooms were also a little dark - our suite had 3 windows, which meant we had some natural light, but it was still quite dark for (e.g.) shaving. We heard from other guests that some of the 'standard' rooms have no windows at all. This is in keeping with the Morrocan vibe of the hotel, but having no poweful lights is a bit of an oversight. The hotel fixtures/fittings could also do with an upgrade. The major let-down is the spa itself. I had a massage there, which was excellent... however the general spa facilities are not all that great. The steam room is good, but the sauna doesn't get very hot and the pool is both small and rather cold. The whole thing lacks the luxury it is striving for. When we were there, the rain was also coming through some of the joints in the ceiling, showing up some poor workmanship.
