Un oasi di tranquillità
Tutte le volte che, per lavoro o svago, passo in quella parte di Piemonte ho la certezza di trovare un posto che mi rilassa e mi mette di buon umore. Non importa se mi aspetta una giornata di lavoro o una gita in moto su e giù per i passi alpini, la costante è al Calar della sera.

Great
Pleasant, great service, the nicest owner you can find, an old farm house which so cleverly turned int a "B&B". Perfect location to stay in for visiting the Barolo and Barbaresco wine area, Alba, Bra, Barolo and all those charming places are several minute driving distance. The little village, Sommariva del Bosco, has it's own charm. we loved the place and we definitely will be happy to stay there again.

Wonderful getaway
This hotel was fabulous! It's well worth the bit of trouble to find it. My boyfriend and I arrived late at night to find the entrance gated and in an alley, but after some investigating noticed a doorbell next to the gate and it was opened immediately by an incredibly hospitable woman who showed us to our room and even upgraded us to more space. The room was clean and well decorated, opening to a quaint courtyard. The staff was very attentive and courteous during the continental breakfast the next morning. Really a lovely place.

B&B Sommariva del Bosco
Ottimo B&B vicino a Cuneo e ai castelli delle Langhe e Roero. Camera molto carina, spaziosa. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Nel paese ci sono ottimi ristoranti. Consigliato a tutti!

Bella struttura e un buon servizio
Sono stato ospite del calar della sera per un fine settimana . Sono tornato con piacere perché (avendo conosciuto alcune delle strutture nelle vicinanze ) ho trovato che fosse la migliore nel rapporto qualità / prezzo .

Gemütliche Unterkunft
Eine hübsche und gemütliche Unterkunft mit sehr netten Gastgeber.Die unterkunt liegt gutgelegen, man knn sehr viele Ausfüge machen, z.B nach Alba, Asti oder Turin.

Another great & very individual agriturismo
This is a charming place where you will experience warm, friendly and trusting hospitality from the couple who runs it. The bedroom I had with private bathroom and balcony was tastefully decorated and clean, plus the bed was comfortable. Guests can help themselves to bottled water from the fridge as well as coffee, and are trusted with free tasting of various grappa and liqueur. The latter and exquisite local chocolates are displayed and for sale in the breakfast room at very reasonable prices. I made the most of it! Do go to nearby Strumia for ice cream, special honey and exquisite confectionary and visit Racconigi Castle if you get the chance! I have no hesitation at all recommending Al Calar della Sera. I am giving a 4 for the surrounding neighbourhood because there is not much happening in this small village and on a Wednesday night, the 2 nearest restaurants were closed.
