Great place for a fa ily holiday with the kids. Would highly recommend to anyone. Only suggestion is to have an iron and ironing board in the rooms rather then a connubial one in the laundry

Relaxing holiday destination
Hotel is clean, comfortable and has great facilities especially for the kids with tennis courts, games room and pool. Very handy to the beach with just a short stroll. Very quiet location but handy to tuncurry/forster with only a 20 - 25 min drive. Local shops at Hallidays Point has all you need. Staff are very friendly and helpful if you need anything. Would definitely stay here again, thanks

A perfectly nice place to stay on holiday if a bit
The resort is brilliantly located It has a nice pool a sauna which we didn't use a games room and even a couple of short holes which I didn't use as I hadn't thought to bring my golf clubs. Lots of families and groups. Busy but not noisy The room itself is bit tired a typical 1990s type motel room Nothing wrong just a bit old The kitchenette was great a big proper fridge was welcome The plumbing again was a bit tired- alarming sounds emerged when using the shower The shower itself was fine though the bathroom itself is just s little tired But it's a pleasant homely place and I'd stay here again if I were in this neck of the woods agsin

Location and general feel of complex very good. Facilities excellent for children and adults. Units were clean and tidy and fitted out well. Beds were very comfortable. Furnishings could be updated and a coat of paint would definitely lift the appearance. Dishwashers and air-con could also be more inviting for return visits. A few maintenance issues such as hard to slide windows. To sum up units need updating and modernising to compliment the resort's facilities.

Seashells was very clean and the office staff extremely helpful. The resort is an older resort but very well maintained. The room was comfortable.

The Resort is old and needs renovating. It is a great location, right on the beach. The room smelt musty and old and needed a very good clean. There were cobwebs and carpets and lounge needed good steam clean. Wouldn't stay there again.

Good family stay
Lots of facilities for the kids and parents including spa, pool, sauna, BBQ, games room, billiards room, small tennis court. Right on the beach although I wouldn't let the kids swim there without supervision, a bit rippy and would be dangerous to the unfamiliar. Nice walks. Secluded spot with only other resorts in the vicinity which you are separated from. Lots of other families were there and spent most of their time there entertaining themselves around the facilities, while my wife and I used it as a base for trips around the local area. If you don't like the sound of kids playing around the pool then you might want elsewhere, but if you don't have kids you won't be likely to sit in your room all day, so not a problem either way.

Great facilities right next to diamond beach
Had a great time, kids enjoyed all the facilities- tennis, games room, pool and spa. The only thing to be mindful is the beach is Unpatrolled and there is no cafe in the resort. But not too far from the town or shops.

Close to the beach, nicely located.
Microwave did not work. Windows were all bit rusty & upstairs balcony door could not be openned. Hotwater flow was inconsistent. But overall it didnt affect our experience of the place. Would go again.

Loved the vicinity, quietness and closeness to the beach. The unit we stayed in was well maintained clean and tidy. Would recommend to friends and will certainly stay there again.

Very uncomfortable in summer.
The first thing I have to say, there is no air conditioners in the rooms. We arrived on a 34 degree, very high humidity day to find only ceiling fans. It was terrible. Secondly, the term "not enough room to swing a cat" applies to the bathroom/toilet. Whilst rinsing my mouth at the basin, my rear end was bumping the wall.

Great family break.
Had three beautiful days with my wife and two kids. Swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, using the tennis court, enjoying the adjacent beach. Played golf at Tallwoods, spent alot of time in Forster and saw dolphins both at Diamond Beach (riding the waves!) which my 11 year old daughter was blown away by and saw them on a chartered cruise from Forster.

Nice resort, right on the beach
We really enjoyed our stay at Seashells. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities for kids and adults, we loved the table tennis and the pool. The adult areas, spa and billiard room, were also a plus. The resort is right on Diamond Beach and close to other beaches. Would highly recommend this resort.

Not a bad place to stay, right on the beach.
I stayed in a 1br apartment. It was decent accommodation, but not luxurious. The apartment had tiled internal stairs at the front entrance, not ideal for our toddler. The bathroom was tiny, old and quite dirty. The apartments have shared walls so you can hear other residents use their bathroom. Location was fabulous, on a beautiful quiet beach, but unpatrolled so only good for a paddle. The pools were good, and an old games room for kids.

Great escape to the Coast for Christmas. Resort staff were friendly and informative. Location was perfect - right next to the beach in a quiet spot. Resort facilities were just what we were after - self contained, pool, spa, great games room for kids and adults. Only issue was the cleanliness of the apartment. Our Bub got a little dirty crawling around.

The place is very nice and very close to beach
The staff are friendly, swimming pool is clean and most of what we need to entertained the kids are in seashell resort.

my 2 nights at seashells beachfront resort.
We enjoyed our stay. it is in a good position right on the beach. The first night our neighbours were a bit noisy, so we did not get much sleep, second night much better.. We took advantage of free shuttles to local bowling club and tavern, we enjoyed this. Nice area, would be lovely in summer.

Beach holiday stay
Fantastically close to the lovely long Diamond Beach - great for fishing, walking and bicycling along but not fab for swimming. LOVED all the racquet sports facilities - tennis, half tennis, badminton and especially the rarely found SQUASH COURT.
