I actually ended up checking out and going to another hotel. The staff was SO nice, but were having to deal with an issue that some of the guest rooms didn’t have hot water, so they were very busy. When I checked into my room, it wasn’t dirty exactly, but the walk outlets didn’t have covers, so I was a little suspicious. I started working at the little corner desk and was there about 15 minutes before I saw a cockroach running across the wall. The location is convenient, but the building itself needs some work.

It was hard to get into the entrance of the hotel, even during light traffic. Need to have use of a door closer to parking lot if one chooses to park on the side, esp. when they have luggage. Need a microwave in lobby that any guest can use since no fridge or microwave in rooms. Cleanliness of rooms need to be better while customers are staying day to day. Need working lamps and more lighting.

I think that hotels.com gets a block of rooms that Ramada rates as seconds. We were on the 11th floor and the traffic noise from the highway on ramp was loud. Only 2 of the elevators worked and they were really slow.

There was a Pringle chip on my bathroom floor and a pillow case on the floor behind a chair. I didn’t have time to complain or have my room cleaned not to mention the hotel, I was told, was completely booked. Nor could I get food or an alcoholic drink till 5pm.

Bad service, dirty towels, no hot water
When we arrived at the hotel the computers kept shutting down so it took almost 45 minutes just to get checked in. We also overheard a conversatiok from a gentleman who was staying there and how someone had walked into their room because they were issued the same room and an active key to that room! When we finally got to our room we walked around to check things out. Immediately we noticed a two dirty towels hanging in the bathroom, one even had hair on it!! We called down to the front desk and instead of sending someone up, told us we needed to come down for towels. When it was time to take showers the next morning we learned that there was NO hot water!! It got slightly tepid after running it for 30 minutes. We told the front desk and they said to just run the water, which we had tried, but could offer up no solution or change our room. When we checked out and spoke to management again we were told there was nothing they could do for us since the room had been booked with Hotels.com. Worst experience ever!!!

do not stay here
hours to check in, no hot water, shower faucet broken and cockroaches. IT was disgusting and there was no other hotel under 500.00 a night at the time we were there close to the venue.

The key did not work twice, I told the maintenance guy it as the battery on the door- yet he still wasted 6 minutes wiggling the key. We decided to get another room. There was neither heat nor hot water, the sheets were clean but permanently stained and ripped. The floors need replacing, just all around old and rickety and needs to renovated ASAP.

I was in town to watch the Olympic Trials and run the Publix Marathon. The hotel was right on the run course for both races. Also, when I arrived Friday evening they did not have my reservation for my stay. The desk clerk was gracious and able to get me a room even though they were booked.

Never stay at this hotel
We booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room. We we arrived at the hotel they told us Expedia do not complete the booking and gave us 1 room with 1 King bed. When I showed them the reservation, they refused to make it right. e cancelled the reservation and went elsewhere. We will NEVER stay at that Ramada Inn EVER!!

Nice for price. Easy access to things
Customer service was excellent. Wasn’t a terrible stay over all just a few things need to fix. First day shower wasn’t too hot and had issues with toilet. No drink machines or anything available. Room service came and cleaned room but left no more towels to shower.

Dissatisfied
Hotel was not very clean. Every time on the elevator it would mess up and stop at every floor. Bed was very uncomfortable. Room was ok’ing, but furniture was banged up and bed skirt on bed was dirty. Looked like possible leak at some point on the ceiling.

Horrible stay.
One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Only 2 elevators out of 4 were operating and it took 20 minutes at the least to get on one. Once we entered the room the heat was on 84 degrees. It felt like a sauna in there. There wasn't enough towels in the bathroom. Called front desk to request more and never got anyone to answer the phone. There was no in-room safe, no microwave, no coffee pot, no mini-fridge. The bedding looked like there were some stains on them. The hotel is really dated and needs some up-keeping done to it. One of the reasons I booked this hotel is because it was supposed to have free shuttle within a 3 mile radius. Asked staff once we arrived about the shuttle and said they do not offer shuttle service. Then we asked for directions to somewhere nearby and was told she didn't know how to get anywhere to not ask her. We won't be staying again.

My husband and I and friends have stay at this hotel on a number of occasions, on our last visit to this hotel in October 2019 it was obvious that ownership had changed, the elevators were not working, half the furniture was missing from the lobby and the staff's attitude was terrible, I reviewing the hotels pictures on their website and notice that it appeared that the hotel had improved its appearance, we decided to give them another try, well we did on Friday, Feb. 28th we checked into the hotel, the staff at the front desk was pleasant, however the hotel had not improved on its appearance, two of the four elevators still do not work, I would rate the bedroom a 5, it was not thoroughly cleaned, this was out last stay at this hotel, until they make a lot of improvements.

There was trash still in our bathroom. We only had one small trash can in the bathroom. Shower press was bad told the front desk lady acted like she didn,t care nothing was done. Our third night staying the bed broke when we sat on it. Had no coffee make but they left coffee for us to use in coffee maker. the elevators was shook bad and very noisey. One of our friends got stuck in one.

BEWARE Do not stay there !
Terrible experience, looks nice in picture but beware ! They had mushrooms growing out of the mold in the carpets, We stayed in room 1126 facing the dilapidated pool, The sink in the bathroom had the bottom drain taped with clear packing tape so the water came right through the bottom of the sink flooding the bathroom. Reported twice they never came to fix it. Our hotel room door, we didnt notice until second night had NO LOCKING MECHANISM in the door frame. So it never locked when you left the room. The hotel is in a bad area and we could have had out money, perscription other valuables stolen, When reported they acted like they werent aware of this and said they would send someone to fix the problem. They never showed. I called Hotels.com to try and get them to help but they couldn't even get through to the hotel. Im glad my daughter and I made it out alive. NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. I'm disputing this with the credit card company. Please do not book there even if for 1 night.I have pictures and videos of all on my phone.

This was the worst experience at a hotel ever! Rude staff. The front desk did not want to give extra towels when they only had 1 in the room. Housekeeper left our door open after being in the room. (Thank God nothing was stolen) the ceiling above our shower leaked into our shower. When we moved to a different room the air conditioner was broken in that one! This hotel was hands down worse than any I’ve ever in my life stayed at!!!

First off I feel ripped off $500 for 3 nights of no towels, roaches & rude staff! Horrible was a understatement and I was stuck there because of cheer sport nationals no where else had vacancies. No tv Ice makers didn’t work when asking if I could have more than one towel I was told they didn’t have anymore. The pillows cases were nasty the air/heat half worked. I have email the hotel it was horrible no one should pay that money to sleep in that

Do NOT stay at this hotel!!!!
It was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at! We will not go back. 1st night heat was stuck on 89 degrees and air stuck on 43 degrees. We roasted. Covers off outlets. Wiring exposed. No trash can or alarm or microwave or mini fridge. Carpet ripped up. 2 elevaters not working. Other 2 elevators make load clicking noises. Curse words graffiti spray painted in parking lot for kids to see. Moved to a 2nd room and it was just as bad. Yellow caution tape all over the downstairs lobby and and 1 entrance to the regular parking lot blocked. 2 of the entrances on the first floor the doors to the outside locked. Lower parking lot closed off. Hotel staff answers the phone rarely. I asked her the 2nd day, why they didnt answer the phone when i repeated called to report the issues, and was told "we don't answer the phones when we are busy". I came downstairs to the lobby to report the issues at 1am the previous night, and she was not busy. No customers were in the lobby. Do not stay at this hotel!

The rooms were dirty. The first room I was in had something crawling on the bed so the woman at the desk moved me to a different room in that room it was ladybugs all on the floor the bathtub was dirty I asked for bleach and a broom so I could clean myself and told her the issue she said they didn’t have any bleach and the issue never got fixed then I stayed the night out and came back the next day my hotel room never got serviced for clean towels bed made nothing I did complain and asked for a discount the woman at the front told me I couldn’t overall it was a horrible hotel and a horrible stay for my vacation

First floor garden!
The location and price was pretty good. The hotel has a lot of repair issues. It’s definitely showing it’s age. The rooms were ok. The ceilings were peeling and mold in all corners. The headboard was falling off the walls, all outlets in the room were shoved in the wall. The bedding had cigarette burns in it. My favorite part was the first floor hallways. It was a very unique herb garden growing through the carpet! Literally had mushrooms growing by the baseboards.

Checked in hoping to have a drink at the bar. Bar is closed at 8pm. And never opened the whole weekend. Asked the front desk if there was anything in walking distance to grab a drink/eat. She didn't know, it was her second day. Was stoked that their site offers free shuttle service to Atlanta attractions. Had aquarium tickets the next morning, asked to make a shuttle reservation, was told the hotel was full so they were not offering the service this weekend. Get to the room, TV is blaring. No comforters or blankets on the beds. No bed skirts, just exposed nasty mattresses. Drawers open in chest. No ice bucket, no ice on floor, not sure where it is. Front desk does not answer calls, tried repeatedly from room. Called the front desk from cell phone... oh it's on the 8th floor. 16 floors and only 1 ice machine. Took our two paper cups to get some ice... No hot water in the shower, and you can't even call it a shower. A small stream trickles out of the head about six inches from the wall. Black hairs in the shower. No do not disturb signs for the doors. Only one elevator out of four worked. Tried four floors for water in vending machine, none of them worked. Cooler in the "gift shop" down stairs wasn't even plugged in, all drinks hot. No fridge or microwave in room. Would have gone elsewhere but prepaid. This place is a true comedy of errors. Steer clear.

It was okay. Good location for what we were there for. Checking in was a little frustrating but was corrected quickly. Was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a fridge in the room but that’s just one of those things that I have come to assume will be there so it’s not a deal breaker.

Ugh! We chose this hotel for 2 reasons. (1) they offered a free shuttle to anything under 3 miles and 5 of our 6 stops were all under 3 miles. (2) It had a restaurant bar and grill so we could walk down and order breakfast and have a drink or two at night. The shuttle was “not running” so we spent a lot of money going back and forth between the events and the hotel. The Restaurant wasn’t open for the 3 days we were there. So we also had to pay for Ubers to eat. There was no door knob on the closet and it took forever to get it open. No ice buckets in the room. The worst pillows I have ever slept on. We both woke up with sore necks. The room was so dated and needs to be upgraded. Take your own pillows and if you don’t plan on utilizing the shuttle and the restaurant, you might be happy with your stay. I have stayed in much worse. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The price is very reasonable if you want to site see some key places that are right in that area.

Do Not Recommend!
Upon check-in, I was informed that there was a management change since I made the reservation and I was forced to pay additional charges. When I asked to speak with manager, she was rude and walked off during the conversation. The first room I was given did not have working heat. The next room smelled of mold and smoke. There was something black on the ceiling. There was also clumps of hair in bathroom floor and in tub. The location is very difficult to get into. There were other concerns as well. I had very poor experience with this location.

The amenities as listed by Ramada Plaza Downtown do not exist; no shuttle, no restaurant, no lounge/bar, no newspaper, the in room phones don’t wont, they don’t answer telephone calls. I choose hotels based upon their listed amenities. This place flat out lied.

I have stayed here several times over many years and it has always been great but the property is apparently undergoing renovations which made parking and getting into the hotel inconvenient - especially when it was raining. Staff was great though and I know it is only temporary.
