Very cool historic hotel. Good physical condition and very clean. Great walkable location in the town of Gettysburg. Cool little bar on the lower level with reasonable prices.

Building was clean and comfortable and charming and the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very large and clean. I would stay again.

I liked the entire property. The history and style was like from another century. It was beautiful and well taken care of. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful plus they new the history of the facility and enjoyed sharing it with us. The environment was tremendous and it was extremely fun to be included in.

I highly recommend this inn. The staff was phenomenal..true professionals. Friendly, helpful and interested in making our stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was spacious, lovely and comfortable. The history of the building is fascinating...don't miss the exhibits on the lower level. We had dinner two nights in the bar. Food was great and so was the bartender.

Beautiful hotel, inside and out. Walking distance to downtown area restaurants and shops. Great breakfast place in the adjoining building too.

Overnight stay
We stayed overnight after a day of bike riding around the Gettysburg battlefield. Perfect location, exceptionally clean and a very welcoming staff. We will stay here again on our next trip.

It was a very nice place and location was great. The ladies at the front desk were great as well! My kids were disappointed when we told them that we didn’t see any ghost, lol. They heard it was haunted.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Federal Pointe Inn! Everything was just perfect. The room was big and comfy. The restaurant food was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance to the downtown area and a very short drive to the Gettysburg Museum and battleground. Highly recommend.

I was able to check in a little early. The front desk attendant showed me up to my room after giving a little history of the hotel. The room was beautiful and very clean. Hotel offers tea and scones from 3-4.

Wow what a great hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was huge with very comfortable beds. Bathroom was also huge. Really wish we had stayed more than one night. The restaurant in the hotel was good and great prices. Area was beautiful.

Great hotel. The staff was fantastic. We would definitely recommend and stay again. The only drawback in the neighboring houses as you walk to the main circle were a little concerning.

Loved the spaciousness and decor of our room. The property is a converted 19th Century high school. The decor features antiques and civil war art, which is totally en pointe for Gettysburg. Know that there is no elevator, so if stairs are a problem for you, book a room on the first floor. If we need to go back to Gettysburg, we know where we will stay!

We visited Gettysburg for the first time for our sons 10th bday who is obsessed with US history! We showed up early with the intention to just find our place and explore the town to then come back and check in but our room was ready and they checked us in! Jessie (sp?) was extremely helpful and pointed us in the right direction (the military visitors center), we were able to enjoy a day full of history with a guided tour, a cyclorama and visiting the museum. The hotel on itself is historical and has a great story to tell. We ended the day at their Pub, the server was lovely and made sure my 10yo had a nice slice of their chocolate cake for his bday! Thanks a lot for having us! <3
