Un séjour superbe sur le lac de Côme
Un hôtel très bien situé à l'écart des artères passagères d’où un calme propice à la détente pour apprécier ce merveilleux lac de Côme. L’hôtel est à 5 minutes en voiture de l'embarcadère.

Nice place and very friendly staff
Hotel staff are very friendly. We had to depart at 6ish for our flight and the staff packed some sandwiches, water and fruits for us the night before! The lake view is stunning and the walk up and down to town centre is chill and nice as well.

Nice hotel.
Very good breakfest. Good diner. We had a room in the annex building.Very good. 2km to walk to the center of Menaggio.After diner in Menaggio uphill. Parking is difficult in Menaggio.

Bel hôtel.
Accueil chaleureux. Le personnel est très disponible et veille au confort de ses clients. Chambre très spacieuse. Très belle piscine. Seul bémol, le petit déjeuner simpliste. Dommage qu'il faille payer, quelques euros certes, pour avoir des œufs au petit déjeuner.

The perfect romantic getaway
A beautiful and romantic location! A tranquil escape from downtown Menaggio, yet not far to get to by foot or car. Comfortable rooms and excellent service 24/7. We will most definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Cozy family hotel, great value for money!
Great family hotel in the hillside above Menaggio, with a nice view of Lake Como. The owner was a very nice gentleman, the garden and pool area was cozy, and the restaurant was perfect for both breakfast and dinner (fantastic parmesan rice!!!). Highly recommended!

Ganska slitet hotell, litet rum och otroligt trångt badrum, inte mycket till frukost men okej för badsemester när man i princip bara sover på rummet. Personalen trevlig med gott hjärta men inte särskilt språkkunnig.

Accueil cordiale - site enchanteur
Hôtel très bien situé sur les hauteurs de Menaggio. Chambre avec terrasse avec vue sur le parc et en contrebas sur le lac. Accueil très cordiale de toute l'équipe. Possibilité de restauration sur place (matin, midi et soir) avec un menu à 28€. C'est le chef (M.Colombo) lui-même qui vient vous servir. Il parle couramment 4 langues (français, allemand, anglais et italien) et a un mot gentil pour chaque convive ! Je recommande vivement !

Como Getaway
In the States it would called a boutique hotel. Beautiful grounds, away from the crowds in town this gem of a place has a resort feel. Warm and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here. A steep walk down to the lake, maybe 10-15 minutes.

Lovely hotel in a quite location.
Our initial view when arriving at the hotel was a very friendly and efficient welcome and the food was superb. At the end of the holiday this was still our view. my only reservation would be if guests have a small appetite, the food is great and portions are substantial. A great example of a well run family hotel and restaurant.

Great family run hotel
We stayed for four nights, our first visit to Como, and overal it was a fantastic time, my ratings of the hotel are Excellent: staff at all times; car parking; views; cleanliness Very good: breakfast ( have to pay extra for eggs); pool ( not heated); grounds Good: room (walls in the separate block are thin so sound from next door annoying); Lastly 'location' is both excellent and poor! There are beautiful views everywhere, however, it is quite a walk down to the lakefront and harder on the way up, about 20-25mins.

Wunderschöne Lage oberhalb des Sees
Eine Woche Anfang September, tolles Wetter, reizvolle Orte am See, schöne Gärten und Villen.Abwechslungsreiche Bootsfahrten. Der Abstieg vom Hotel an das Seeufer ist ohne Probleme, der Aufstieg (etwa 20Minuten) für ältere etwas beschwerlich. Die gute Aussicht, die ruhige Lage und das gute Restaurant lohnen diese Beschwernisse.

Wonderful, wonderful stay!
A great experience, probably our best stay in Europe thanks to our great host (am ashamed I don't remember his name). The hotel is set upon a hill with great views overlooking the town and lake. Nice salt water pool was a real treat as was pool-side bar service. We were treated to a special evening meal (delicious) with entertainment one night and the host and his wife went out of their way to make sure everyone was contented. Superb. Perhaps the rooms are a bit dated, however super clean.

Excellent hotel
A really lovely relaxing stay at Hotel Royal, which has a great feel to it created with loving care by the Columbo family and their super staff. Nothing was too much trouble and Mario the owner even drove us to the ferry two days during our stay as we did not have transport to get around. The highlight of our stay were the wonderful evening meals created by Emilio, Mario's son, who is a marvellous chef producing delicious home made pasta dishes with delicious sauces. Staff were first rate in serving us at dinner.

Schönes Hotel am Comersee
Kurzer Zwischenstopp mit einer Übernachtung am Comersee. Nur wenige Fahrminuten von der Uferpromenade entfernt.Sehr netter Empfang. Gutes Essen im Restauraunt mit einer sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamer Bedienung. der aufenhalt hat uns sehr gefallen.

Tolles Hotel am Comer See
Ich hatte das Hotel als Geburtstagsüberraschung für meine Frau gebucht. Wir sind große Las Vegas Fans & wollten uns endlich Bellagio im Original ansehen. Das Hotel liegt etwas bergauf und bietet damit einen wundervollen Blick über den Comer See & Menaggio. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, dafür war der Balkon schön groß. Wir wurden im Hotel direkt sehr freundlich begrüßt; das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist nicht allzu groß und verfügt über einen schönen Salzwasserpool. Man muss ein bisschen besser zu Fuß sein, da es doch recht lang bergab bzw. auf dem Rückweg bergauf geht.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Umgebung.
Sehr freundliches hilfreiches Personal, insbesondere der Hotelchef Herr Colombo, der nie um ein freundlichen Spruch oder eine Anekdote verlegen war. Ausserdem hat uns der Garten mit dem schönen großen Pool gefallen, den wir nach unseren Auspfügen immer sehr genossen haben. Die Zimmer waren i.O., sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und reichlich, warum man aber für ein gekochtes Ei, oder Rührei extra bezahlen muss, ist uns aber ein Rätzel geblieben. Die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke im Restaurant war ebenfalls top, ebenso die Möglichkeit ein Menü für Hotelgäste günstiger zu ordern. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt im Hotel Royal sehr gefallen und wir dieses auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen.

Spotlessly clean 3 star hotel with friendly staff
We stayed two nights on our way to a family wedding and were sorry we hadn't booked to stay longer. Hotel Royal is well situated with beautiful views over Lake Como. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is an excellent restaurant which was sold out both nights we were there. We hope to return.

Excellent Hotel. Lovely staff led by Mr Colombo. We did not have half board but most people did and thoroughly enjoyed it . We ate in the Hotel most nights which we do not normally do but the Al la Carte menu and food was excellent

Comfortable stay
The hotel is embracing -small, attentive, with an excellent restaurant. This is important since you are up in the hills, far from any other facility. It is most comfortable, lovely view, and relaxing.

Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel, family operated; they are very friendly and give great attention to the clientele. The rooms are small. Get a larger one if you can afford it. The garden and pool are beautiful and with great view of the lake. The restaurant is very good and we had dinner there several evenings.

Great Como stay
Excellent breakfasts,excellent dining,unless your fit and active you need a car.its 12 euro either way from the hotel to the town and visa versa.Its a hotel for a relaxing stay.Fantastic views of Como.Mario the owner and all his staff are very attentive to your needs.

Tolles Hotel am Comer See
Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel am Comer See. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, haben ansonsten aber fast nur Stammgäste getroffen. Wann fühlt sich sofort sehr willkommen, da der Eigentümer Signor Colombo einen sofort persönlich begrüßt und jeden Tag sowohl beim Frühstück, als auch abends im Restaurant am Tisch vorbei schaut und ein paar nette Worte wechselt. Da es sehr viele deutsche Gäste gibt, spricht fast das gesamte Personal sehr gut deutsch, was mansche Dinge natürlich sehr vereinfacht. Ganz hervorragend essen kann man im hoteleigenen Restaurant. Wir haben nicht gefunden, was uns nicht ausgezeichnet geschmeckt hätte. Zur Promade in Mennagio braucht man zu Fuss vielleicht eine halbe Stunde und es sind vielleicht ca. 150 Höhenmeter. Man sollte also zu mindestens nicht schlecht zu Fuss sein. Bei einer weiteren Reise zum Comer See oder der näheren Umgebung würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder im Hotel Royal absteigen.

rauhallisella ja kauniilla paikalla oleva hotelli. Ystävällinen omistaja ja mukava kodinomainen tunnelma. Aamupala oli runsas ja hyvänmakuinen. Parannettavaa ruoan taso illallisella ja menussa kaipaa parannusta. Samoin wifi toimi huonosti, jos ollenkaan huoneissa.
