Our go to place on the island. Quiet, lovely bedroom, fantastic shower, big comfy bed and superb breakfasts. Don’t hesitate, very special hosts, we love the place.

Lovely stay
We had a four night break at Koala Cottage, everything was great, the room, the service , the location and lastly the hosts. We had fabulous weather so the new addition of air conditioning in the rooms was a godsend. We would definitely recommend Koala Cottage for anyone wanting a relaxing break away.

Fantastic place to stay...
My husband and I couldn’t of wished for more from a B&B. Everything was lovely, the standards of cleanliness high, and service brilliant. The breakfast options were varied, and also catered for my allergies which is always a god send! - We were also glad to have chosen somewhere like Godshill, a tiny but charming village. The 2 pubs that are both a 2 min walk were also of high quality service and food amazing. I would certainly recommend to friends for future IOW visits.

Warm and friendly greeting on arrival and all Shona's little extra touches were appreciated by us ( I am not going to say what they were as its a nice surprise if you book and stay there). Breakfast was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Easy parking was a bonus too.

Koala Cottages- Perfect
We were staying as a couple to visit friends who had recently emigrated to the Island!! We had requested an earlier check in due to limited time on the island. This was not an issue at all for the establishment. As a result of the request we were upgraded to the gold suite at no extra cost. On arrival we were met at the car and shown to our room with a detailed explanation of what was on offer and what we could expect. The room and adjoining bathroom was immaculately clean and of a good standard of decor. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both had a great night's sleep. The breakfast the following day was really nice. The food was freshly cooked with a large selection on offer. I would recommend this cottage in a heartbeat and cant wait for a return visit. Thank you

Lovely B&B
We couldn’t fault anything at koala cottage. Shona made us welcome from the minute pulled onto the drive until the minute we left. The breakfasts were fabulous and most days we didn’t need lunch. The rooms were cleaned everyday. With our own separate door we could come & go as we pleased without feeling we were disturbing anyone. We had 2 really relaxing soaks in the hot tub of a evening. All in all we couldn’t fault a thing and would love to go back there soon.

Top class bed and breakfast
From the great reception on arrival, enjoying the comfort of the luxury room and the delicious breakfast, this was the perfect choice for our anniversary break on the Island. We will be back!

Hotel was amazing!
Koala Cortage was amazing. It was like we were the only guests. Suite was immaculate, attention to detail was amazing, thoughtful touches like vintage games, old fashioned record player, fridge, ( to keep the champagne chilled!) chocolates, and super comfy bed! Loved the huge Victorian bath! And jacuzzi and sauna an added bonus! Proprietor could not have done more to make us welcome. Fab breakfast. Good location. Thank you so much. We will come back.

I couldn't fault our stay here. Shona was a great hostess. She phoned the evening before we arrived to advise our room was ready as soon as we arrived on the island which was perfect . The room had everything and the bed extremely comfortable. Added bonus was the hot tub. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Would return again.

Perfect for a quiet couple's getaway
This was our first trip to the Isle of Wight and was for my partner's birthday (*please also note we are a same-sex couple and had a wonderful experience, so don't worry about what the other same-sex couple seemed to be implying in their review!) so we were looking for something a little bit special, which we certainly found at Koala Cottage. Shona was delightful to deal with, both beforehand over the phone and when we arrived, and she made us feel very welcome. We had the Sapphire Suite, and it was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I'm particularly fussy about bathrooms and so I'm pleased to say that I LOVED our bathroom here - clawfoot tub and separate rainfall shower, lovely mosiac tiling, and spotlessly clean. The location is great, in a lovely little village and was great for driving around the island (we had a car so I can't comment on public transport other than to say I did notice quite a few bus stops). I cannot recommend highly enough!

Lovely accommodation with very friendly host. Good position within reach of anywhere on island in pretty village. Very nice selection of places to eat locally. A little bit of luxury at a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast.

A look at the island
A lovely B&B, we arrived very early and decided to take a look at the B&B. Upon arrival the owner, Shauna made us very welcome and let us use the room immediately. There's not many owners that do that. It was a perfect start to the weekend. We used the pub opposite for an evening meal the Essex check the prices before you eat... I would definitely use the Koala B&B again.. we totally relaxed, and were looked after very well.

Fantastic hotel
Koala cottage is the ultimate luxury experience. The room is beautiful and spacious the bed amazingly comfortable. The hot tub and sauna....fantastic and relaxing. Ann makes an amazing breakfast and is so welcoming. We will definitely go back

2 night stay
We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. If you like staying at a quiet and comfortable b&b then this is probably the best on the island. Ann was brilliant and gave us a quick tour of the premises including the sauna and jacuzzi before we unpacked. Breakfast was really nice and set us up for the day. It felt like home from home. Also you get 10% off the bill at The Essex just yards away where we went for dinner, and they serve great food too.

A five star break!
Had a wonderful three nights. Anne made the best breakfasts that set you up for the rest of the day and then Anne recommended which pubs were the best locally where we had fantastic evening meals. The rooms are complete luxury and very spacious. The village has some fun shops to wonder round, a stunning church and is brilliantly located for access to many other parts of the island. Anne is incredibly friendly and full of useful information. Thank you for a fabulous break.

B&B of the highest quality
I travel for a living, spending in excess of 200 nights each year in hotels around the world. Koala Cottage comfortable exceeds the standard of most of them. Peaceful, comfortable, outstanding customer care, delightfully furnished; home from home.

Amazing B&B
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Koala cottages this weekend. The room was large and very well appointed. Loads of hot water and a fabulous bathroom. Our host Anne was so welcoming and prepared a delicious breakfast each morning of our stay. We would recommend this hotel highly for B&B and The Essex is great for evening meals and is only 25m away.

A lovely place to stay on the Isle of Wight
The room was excellent and the breakfast superb, we didn't need lunch at all during our stay. The suite was gorgeous and kept spotlessly clean. Would go back. Parking outside the venue was a definite bonus as so little parking elsewhere. The host was friendly and charming but not intrusive.

Spoil Yourself
This hotel is situated in a very peaceful and picturesque village which houses some fine eateries. The spotless rooms are well catered for with very comfortable king size beds. Wonderful breakfasts cooked by the manager, Ann, whom we cannot praise highly enough. Don't forget your swimwear to indulge yourself in the jacuzzi.

Delightful!
From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, it was perfection. Loved the Sapphire room. The decor was very pretty and the theme was carried throughout the suite. We had our own entrance- a bonus in a bed and breakfast. Ann was very kind, genuine and friendly. The breakfast options were top knotch and everything was fresh and tasty! We'll be back!

Lovely B&B in the pretiest village on IOW
Ann made us feel really welcome on arrival. She recommended a great pub with upstanding food for diner just across the road. The room we had was very comfortable and the breakfast choice was exceptional. If we revist IOw then we will definetly stay here again.

"A Jewel on The Island"
Koala Cottage was booked as a surprise birthday treat for my husband. His eldest son lives on the island so it seemed an ideal place to take him. I found this "gem" by googling "Luxury places to stay on IOW" Having been to Godshill before I knew Koala Cottage was perfectly located, and the rooms looked absolutely amazing! We were not disappointed upon our arrival. The room was everything the website said it was. The décor was beautifully done with intricate detail. We made use of the hot tub and sauna during our 3 night stay which provided us with an extra bit of relaxation. We ordered different things for breakfast on all 3 mornings and because everything is cooked fresh it all tasted delicious. Overall, our weekend in this lovely B&B was perfect!
