Die Unterkunft an sich ist gar nicht so schlecht - höchstens man erwartet 5* Hotel - das ist sie aber nicht. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist ihm sehr wichtig, das sich seine Hotelgäste immer wohlfühlen. Die Zimmer sid groß, aber dies ist glaube der Standard in den USA. Leider sind sie auch etwas heruntergekommenen und brauchen mehr sls nur einen Farbanstrich. Im Großen und Ganzen: Es ist nicht perfekt und verbesserungsfähig, aber man sollte auch den günstigen Preis beachten.

There was a cockroach dying in the bathroom, the bathmat and bedspread were both stained, the floor wasn't vaccuumed, the air conditioner and the ceiling fan made noise, the room smelled musty like it hadn't been opened in a long time. We will not be back.

The room was disgusting. Hair on the bed under the yellow stained pillows, the photos of this place have to be about 15 years old. Didn’t even attempt to vacuum, or wipe the mirror, blood on the floor in the bathroom, also hair an half used bar of soap from someone before me, it was so bad I checked for another room an drove 20 minutes away in the middle of the night. Do your self a favor an read some reviews- all of em matched what I experienced.

Place was dirty, refrigerator unplugged and dirty no water pressure in shower. No coffee pot as posted in website.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here for Salvation mountain trip which was beautiful. The town has only Donut shop ( delicious Sandwiches) and Doller general. Me and my girl crossed the border to get a Sushi lunch. Had a interesting great trip staying here! Super quiet! If u dont mind the bit of Cow smell this is a very chill Inn.

The room was filthy, not hot water, toilet would not flush, dirty soap in the shower which obviously had not been cleaned. There were multiple spiders in the corners of the walls and spider eggs on the floors by the baseboards. When the front desk was advised of this they said they were aware and didn't try to remedy the situation and they were very nasty. When this was reported to Expedia and an Expedia agent asked about this, the person at the front desk admitted it was all true and he was nasty to the Expedia agent as well. The room was unsafe and unhealthy and management doesn't care. I would guess that the all the rooms are that way and would caution anyone who thinks of staying there to not do it.

Even though is in the middle of nowhere property is in decent conditions. You can tell is an old building that needs some renovations but overall was good. There were some sketchy people hanging around area but not much to worry about.

The staff was very friendly. But the room was dirty the shower was dirty and falling apart sink was gross.

The room have spider webs, dirt on counters, didn't even sleep under sheets. Surrounding area had no rooms available for us to move to. We ended up leaving early because of the condition.

Broken down hotel, the only thing that really worked properly was the TV. The only restaurant that showed on Google Maps was out of business. If it was not prepaid, I would have gone to another town and found a hotel.

This hotel is clearly not cleaned. The man and his wife are living in the lobby. It appears they have house keepers but I’m not sure what they do. The hotel needs to be reported to health and safety. We won’t be staying again. The man is extremely rude.

False advertising website shows the pool is open. The pool was been closed for years. Other hotels with pools are open currently. The A/c is set on a timer and doesn't cool the room

Affordable option for those with business in Calip
Calipatria, California. Southern shore of the Salton Sea. My wife and I were on a business trip investigating the Salton Sea and the recent buzz of eco-friendly green jobs coming to the region. Often sited as being an economically disadvantaged area, the towns dotting the shores of California's largest lake, could be considered an eyesore to most. From Bombay Beach to Niland, abandoned homes and businesses seem to be the norm. One conjures images of what a post-apocalyptic society would look like. A Ghost town. Yet, even among these dismal conditions, hope pervades. The Calipatria Inn, run by a friendly gentleman by the name Dipeck, is an example of how optimism and hope for a better tomorrow, keep business alive.
