Ongoing construction is kind of annoying. But you can’t expect it to be convenient when upgrades are being completed. Still my favourite place to stay when I’m in Calgary. 4 out of 5 stars.

Never have issues while staying here. The updates to the rooms are nice and I quite enjoy my stays here when I’m in Calgary. Cons: on going construction with Reno’s, but not a major issue. Usually just parking spaces are limited if they’re booked up. Other people staying there can be an issue with their kids running in the hallways. But no big concerns. It was kinda noisy from the traffic, but it’s minimal at times.

Stayed in the newly renovated rooms, excellent. Only problem was the door. It took repeated swiping to get the door to open. Then the gap in the door, as it wasn't closing properly, someone could take a screwdriver and wedge the door open. The hotel staff were aware of this and checked on us and offered to change rooms, however the stay being only 1 night, I wasn't worried. It's odd with the renovation they wouldn't opt for the tap key cards vs the swiping kind. Walls were a bit thin as we could hear our neighbours entire conversations. But the new renovations are wonderful! Very nice bathroom, tv, beds.

The hotel is currently under renovations. A fact that was omitted when booking and speaking with hotel prior to our arrival. The hot tub was broken and has been for some time also. The evening front desk person was abrupt, dismissive and rude. I asked simple questions like why did we have to provide my credit card again when the room was prepaid (they phone the day before to do this). It old him three time our phone was broken and instead of sending someone to fix it, he argued that there was a second phone in our room to use (which there wasn't). He said he would "phone up to verify". We needed the phone as the roomkeepers kept taking our towels even though they were hung up. We were in a family suite and they would leave us with two towels. We would go to the front desk in the evening to get towels and they would be gone again in the morning. It looked looked like many people had to self serve the towels. We also had to make the pop out bed ourselves which is OK, however one of the sheets in the package left for us was disgusting. We again had to go down to the lobby (still no phone) to get a new sheet. One of the elevators wasn't working most of the time. Water was turned off one day (no notice) presumably due to the construction. The construction noise wasn't terrible, however it was constant and would have been nice to have had notice this was happening. This and the broken hot tub would have automatically made us choose somewhere else. Live hanging wires

Other than the updating construction at the hotel it was a good stay. I like the upgrades they did to the rooms. Very modern and welcoming. I did notice the drains need to be looked at, they didn’t work properly in the hot tub. It was a good stay, no issues other than the maintenance concern.

Worst hotel stay ever! we checked in for 1 night to attend a dinner in Calgary. Very loud noise upon check-in due to renovation (this was not mentioned anywhere on the hotel website upon booking!). After unpacking, I took a shower, only to find "brown" stuff on the white towels that looked like "poop"! I tried to call front desk to get towels, but the phone in the room does not work! I called the hotel from my cell phone.. I waited for 30 minutes naked in the room waiting for towels.. I thought I'd lay down in bed with my long wet hair just to warm up a little only to discover that the sheets were not changed. I had to call the hotel again to bring me the towels, which they did after 15 min. I ended up booking another hotel in Calgary for the night (Arts hotel, which is amazing), and left the hotel after the hotel right after the shower incident.. horrible hotel, horrible service.. I took pictures of everything and will request a refund! NEVER STAY HERE

Construction on our floor was very dusty and the hot tub was not in service. When asked when the hot tub would be back, the front desk said at least a month... Should have updated their listing to show that the hot tub is not a thing.

Room was neat and tidy. Tub in room was spacious. We left and forgot a jacket in the closet. 3 hours later, called and the jacket was not returned to the front dest. Nor was it still in the room. Unfortunate that this dishonesty was present at the hotel.

We arrived Christmas Eve day at this hotel, after we checked in open our bags we noticed none of the TV’s works in our suite, I called the front desk to bring someone to our room to check the issue she told me that she’s the only person working in the hotel today this is a red flag already Hotel like this pretty much full with guest and only one the front Desk lady working alone, she called me after saying that this room she checked us in the Tv’s not working in it for the past week, and she offer us to move to a different room and she mentioned that she will give us a better room, I got the key for the other room and it was a surprised that the suite she gave me smaller then the on I had reserved and it doesn’t have balcony like my initial booking, I called her and I told her you offeeed me a better suite then what I had and now you put me in a smaller suite and no balcony she said that’s all what I can do, I ask her to get me a refund that I can leave she said she can’t, I had no other choice then stay l, all after noon kids running and jumping off the beds above us none stop I called the front desk she said she will talk to them this banging on the floor continued until 1am in the morning, this hotel it was a nightmare, we had issues with the breakfast as well and so many other things, not recommended at all .

Got zero sleep because staff allowed a hockey team of 13 year old children to play hockey in the hallway while the parents drank in the dinning area until after 2am. When I talked to the front desk they said they wouldn’t do anything because I booked 3rd party through hotel.com Breakfast had a good variety but was ice cold

I asked for the cleaner to come bacj twice because I wanted a thurough clean of the bathrooms, and when they came back it looked like they didnt do anything but fold the toilet paper. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. First time was okay, second time i mentioned i was not happy because they had hair still in the bathe snd there was dust and grime all over the counters. The third time I was the most unimpressed. This cleaning staff is terrible. I own a cleaning company, and this would never pass any of my inspections. Please taking into concideration of training them properly and having inspections. This is not up to a hotel standard. Will never stay at this location again. Also - please clean up all the dog poop onfront of your property. As a dog owner, I realized too many gross poop left all infront of the property.
