Not as advertised
I was expecting a run down place but not this run down. The shampoo and conditioner and soap was from other hotels. It said pool and breakfast. Lobby was locked so no breakfast and pool is filled in

The new owners are very friendly and helpful. They are making many improvements to the prpoerty. Rooms have been redecorated and ave very large and clean.

Worse Experience!!
I had the worse stay at this Hotel, first of all the lights did not work only one, the shower curtain was nasty, the toilet was not secured down, the room had a odor, I had to spray it down with Lysol, and last there were bed bugs in the bed, I had to sleep in my car until day break, from out of town and this is the worse experience I have ever had at a Hotel, It need to be shut down.

Motel is owed other than new paint job everything’s the same. Power went off an hour later it wasn’t on went to the front Dess owner was out of town is €13 and 16-year-old children was running the facility ask for a refund so I could go to another Motel that had power they refused said it wasn’t their fault.

Nice place to stay
No night clerk was immediately available but the young man who came to the window was attentive and immediately saw a handicap accessible room would be best. Parking was readily available to the room.

1990’s blanket and bed.
Pillow and blankets are sad and old the place has a bad smell and NO internet! TVs are non HD.

I liked the fact that the hotel is located near a shopping plaza for grocery needs, fast food, hair supplies, etc. The hotel is in desperate need of renovations and upgrades. I can say that the price is very decent if you're looking for something for a couple of nights.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!
The worst place I have ever stayed. Cockroach's were everywhere. Toilet was broken. Mattress and bedding had stains all over them. Shower Curtin was covered in mold.

Cheap old motel!
Cheap MOTEL! Couldn't find my reservation even after two calls with Hotels.com. Then when she finally gave me the room she tried to charge me again for it! Rooms are old and outdated. Breakfast was a complete joke!

Run Down and Dirty
This is a very run down hotel. The towels were not clean (stained - one with blood). Bathroom had a strong urine smell and the floor was sticky. Floor lamp did not work. Outlet in room was hanging out of wall and did not work. Breakfast room had 3 old apples, a paltry amount of cereal, and a couple of pieces of bread - no Decaf. The lights were off in the breakfast room during breakfast hours. This hotel looks like it is on the verge of going out of business.

Needed 2 rooms each with 2 beds. Traveling with 4 adults, one elderly one physically limited and a child. No rooms on 1st floor with 2 beds, and no elevator. AC turned off in both rooms. It was cooler outside at 89 degrees, than in the room. Took hours to cool down enough to sleep. One room had to slam door to get it to catch, and both the bar lock inside and dead bolt on door was broken. Both live and dead bugs under the covers in one of the beds. Once checked in, couldn't reach anyone at front desk. Even at 830 the next morning lobby locked and no one answering bell. Worst hotel stay ever.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and I must say this was the very worst. We got in late after a grueling road trip to Georgia for my sister’s funeral. Around midnight we were going to sleep when we heard a voice outside our door saying something about getting money and kept saying put room number. My 6’5” husband opened the door and the guy said, “Hi friend” and quickly walked away. There wasn’t a seal around the door. You could see daylight through it. This hotel looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was hair in the bathtub, which was so disgusting that we wouldn’t even shower there. This is the one time I was happy that I had protection with me. I truly feel that we were intentionally put at the farthest room from the office and the stairs for nefarious reasons. This is definitely one hotel stay that I will tell everyone about and I will be writing about this also!

Not bad for the money
Not bad for the money. Top of toilet tank was missing a corner. Bed covers looked dated but were in good condition and bed was very comfortable and room was quiet despite hotel being full.

The staff were nice but there were roaches and mold in the room. The blankets had cigarette burns in them.

Room had live roaches, spiders, and stink bugs crawling on walls as well as dead roaches smeared on walls. Lobby was closed 24/7, couldn’t get a hold of anyone after check in to change rooms or get my money back. Dead bugs and mold in the a/c vents. Had throw up in the sink. Overall a terrible experience and Hotels.com should remove this place from their website.

The bathroom had a n leak. Complimentary breakfast wasn’t included. Staff ask me to bare with the leak until my stay was over. Stranger banged on my door during the late night hours.

More than average hotel, good for the rate. Breakfast minimal. Managers went above and beyond to help solve problems we had with the car. Hotel located near shops, still quiet.

The only game in town
Let's be real, you're not staying in Montezuma for the tourist spots. It's a clean, quiet room with a McDonald's and a pizza place nearby and if you need more than that, the interstate is 15 miles to the east.

The rooms were decent. The heat in our room stopped working. We were provided a space heater after 2 requests. The door was locked to get into the lobby, so no access to breakfast . It's the only hotel in town so you don't have much of a choice to stay there.

Unreasonably unclean.
I've stayed at this location a few times. The grounds were cleaner than they have been in the past. The parking lot desperately needs a trash can!! The room was cleaned poorly. Sticky floors in the kitchen and the carpet is so filthy I had to wash my feet in the shower each of the 2 times I forgot to put my flip flops on. This was also the second time I've had a flea land on me. This time it was in my room while a couple years back it happened while I was at the front desk. The continental breakfast has become coffee and a few granola bars. On a positive note, there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

Nice place to stay
Staff very friendly, Room was clean, bed comfortable. Nice breakfast. I stayed 2 nights. Cleaning staff slow in cleaning room, but this was not a major issue. Overall I would give it 4 stars. Good value for the money.

Nice People, Bad Neighborhood?
We arrived in the middle of the afternoon. Front entrance door opened into a small area with locked door. The proprietor looked through the glass separation and came around to unlock the door to the reception area after hearing that we had a reservation. The check-in was smooth enough. There was evidently no towels in the room and she brought them into the room as we were getting our luggage from our car. The room was spacious, in appearance clean enough, but there were roaches in the bathroom. The bed was much too soft for us so I slept on the floor. My wife would have done the same except for fear of the roaches. We were there only for one night and spent literally no time in the room except to sleep and then leave early the next morning. The breakfast was dismal. The people we visited in Montezuma told us we should have stayed in a motel in another nearby town. Can't say if that really would have been better, but can't recommend this motel either.

Overbooked - UNACCEPTABLE!
This is not a rating of the hotel conditions because I was unable to stay there (Expedia requires all topics to be rated). I booked and 100% PAID for a room hotel through Expedia. The reservation was made at 12:40pm for the correct night and again PAID for. When I arrived I discovered there were NO rooms available, they were full. Meaning that even though I had PAID for the night during the booking process, they continued to take additional reservations or walkup guess knowing that when I arrived I would be turned away because they were full. I am not one to ask for inconvenience discounts, but after driving for approx. 13 hours to find out that you do not have a room that you PAID for, I think the hotel staff should have provided some discount offering for a night through their hotel chain. Because this was during Hurricane Matthew I had to drive approx. 2 additional hours to the next hotel on my route that had an opening and now I have to go thought the process to get a refund though Expedia. UNACCEPTABLE!

Even tho I arrived late they had everything ready for me especially the heater cause it was cold outside and I locked myself out and they had no problem unlocking it for me to get back into my heated room. Just like being home.
