Wonderful to stay so close to the lifts, and it was super nice to have underground parking during a snow storm. Loved the wood-burning fireplace.

I understand why the restaurants are closed, but I feel if just one ski lift was open for mountain biking, and a smidge of advertising, there would be enough visitors to warrant opening the restaurant.

I stayed in a unit with a small kitchen which was great to have as most restaurants are closed during summer. The only places open were the general store and Kirkwood Inn.

Staff was amazing. Property is due for an upgrade but was very clean and quiet. We stayed out of season for a nearby wedding. Perfect. Thank you

Check-in went smoothly because of the friendly and professional staff person at reception! When I called later about a problem with the cable TV (no channels) she came over promptly and fixed the problem! What a great employee! She was just about to end her shift but had time to resolve the tech problem.

We were told during the confirmation call that the parking garage was closed. It is a significant hike from the lot to the elevator with our luggage. Fortunately we could park fairly close and rolling luggage racks were available. The resort has spectacular scenery and the staff were very helpful. The best surprise was a really great fitness center with hot tub, sauna and steam rooms

They had no services available. No food. No ice. No snack machines. Nothing! Very disappointed with our stay. We went for a wedding with a large group and none of us would stay there again!

No AC!
NO AIR CONDITIONING! No front desk staff after 5PM. This was not known to me at the time of booking. The room was in the 80s. Nothing could be done about it except the fans in the room and my own body cooling itself by sweating. Service calls go to another ski resort and they couldn't do anything (no front desk staff after 5PM). Also because we had the windows open we could smell the person smoking weed on their porch, which I didn't like. Lastly there were no coffee mugs! No offer for discounted stay was made. The people at the front desk in the AM were really nice, and gave me a can of fizzy water.

Imagine sleeping in loft of the third story condo during a summer heat wave with inside temps in the 90s, while being notified by e-mail days before the stay there is no AC ( with the justification that it’s not common in the area). If that sounds good I recommend this place.

Parking was inconvenient. Carpet in room was stained, and the unit was clean otherwise. TV would not work (software update required and no way to apply it). Light next to bed flickered. Cramped room required coffee maker to be poorly placed with extension cord. Coffee maker leaked coffee while pouring cup (shut-off didn't work). Bed was comfortable.

Location is the only good thing about this place!
Very frustrating to get ahold of. Didn’t answer the phone past 5 pm. Parking is HORRIBLE!!! Restaurant closes at 4 pm. Very little food choices otherwise (pizza place only).

Stephanie at the desk was a gem. She helped me check in early by upgrading my room and provided a friendly and warm contact throughout my short stay.

Terrible check in. Showed up 330 told room not ready. Understand with amount of snow short staff and struggles to prep. 645 pm still no room ready. Ot prepping based on customers there, just prepare rooms. Because push finally got room. Park 1/4 to 1/2 mile away. Not easy with ski gear. Should be able park under hotel in reserve spot since only 1 car on reservation. Loud at night with grooming machines. No food within few miles after 5pm. Most restaurants closed at 330. Only general store until 5. Room nice and close proximity to slopes.

My room was so run-down and reeked of perfume to mask old cigarette smoke, I had to leave immediately as I get migraines from intense room spray smells. The front desk informed me that the hottub was also not working due to a long-standing propane shortage at the property, which should have been noted in the description. The front desk staff was empathetic with the smell and the poor quality of the room and were aware of issues with those room types (unbeknownst to me) but said they couldn’t do anything about it. I ended up driving home instead of staying at the property.

We were surprised by the accommodation because when I reserved the room, I thought it would just be a single room with a double bed in the lodge itself, but we were placed in a two room suite in a different building. Not complaining - just surprised! Not sure if that's an Expedia thing, or a Kirkwood thing.
