This motel really surprised us. Our room seemed to have all new linens and towels. Even the shower curtains looked brand new.
The furniture was dated and had fabrics that are not a good choice for a hotel- like a fabric upholstered heaboard and a sleep/sofa that was very worn out and impossible to sit on, there was a lightweight quilt on the bed that hopefully gets washed with each guest.
We were on the second floor so we had to carry our suitcases up some stairs which was not a problem for us but could be for some.
The property is very cute with two separate buildings with rooms (painted a super bright yellow) and an office building that is like a prefab home. The breakfast was in the office building. It was an ok breakfast, excellent pastries.
The pool and the grounds were well maintained. Flowers everywhere, really pretty, recessed from the road. Excellent location, very easy to go north or south to all the towns and points of interest which were close.
It was not luxurious or to the standards of major hotels, but it actually was quaint and charming. Staff was wonderful.
