Perfect trip to Cape Town at Cape Grace
What a beautiful stay. The suite was fabulous. The location was perfect and convenient and safe. A five minute walk to the V and A with great shopping. Cape grace took care or our tours to the wine region and to see the penguins. Samatha the concierge also reserved a lunch for us in Stellenbosch. She also lead us to a beautiful Tanzanite store in the waterfront. I bought a necklace for my daughter and I am having stones cut for a ring to complete a set they are making for me Plantandia is the shop. When we left to go to the airport I realized I had left an expensive jacket in the room and Samantha fetched it and we had it brought to the airport. The overall stay was 10 stars.

Awesome 24hrs!!
Special weekend with it being my wife’s bday and our wedding anniversary, the Cape Grace team made it so special with a complimentary bottle of bubbles and a cake left in our room upon arrival, very sweet and special!

Best stay ever!
It was very personalized service from check-in to check-out. Staff in dining room for breakfast were also very courteous and attentive. Our experience was Cape Town hospitality at its best!

Excellent hotel and perfect location on the waterfront. All the staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. This was our second stay at Cape Grace and we will certainly stay there again when we next visit Cape Town.

Wonderful hotel! Phenomenal staff and service! Among the best in the world. Friendly, warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. This is the only hotel I would stay at in Cape Town!! Be aware of cancellation policy which is about a month—only downside.

The location is excellent (2 minute walk to v&a marketplace, watershed, mall and numerous restaurants) and view of the waterfront lovely! Breakfast was delicious - there was buffet and then an extensive list of ala carte dishes. Turn down service was great - we got a little gift every day and the sweets were perfect to have upon coming back to the room! They also had a free chauffeur service that could take you to any location within 10km. We used it to go to Table Mountain and to dinners. They pick up, too! They only missed taking out the garbage in the toilet once after cleaning but other than that, our stay was perfect!

A special place
The Cape Grace makes one feel special from the moment of entry. The staff really make you feel as if they know you and care about your stay. Everyone there from the doormen to the concierge, the reception to the servers, are fabulous.The location is perfect, right on the V&A Waterfront. The decor is sublime and the rooms are lovely, from all the decorative touches to the comforts and amenities. Our stay at the Cape Grace capped off 3 weeks in South Africa, and it was the perfect way to end the trip. Whenever we come back to Cape Town, we will stay at the Cape Grace. It truly is exceptional.

Great hotel in a fantastic city
The hotel is fantastic. It is situation on the waterfront with lots of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Only one side of the hotel looks up to table mountain. The breakfast was lovely.

Hotel com funcionários muito atenciosos , café da manhã maravilhoso , quarto muito confortável ( peça um quarto com vista para a Table Mountain , essa foi a dica que peguei de um dos hóspedes ) . A vista para a montanha e consequentemente para o pier com os iates atracados é fascinante . A decoração deste hotel não me agradou mas não comprometeu a estadia . Uma dica : quando voltar ao seu quarto durante o dia , sempre coloque a placa de "não incomodar " na porta , o serviço de quarto passa mais de 1 vez para checar o quarto e assim acaba tirando a sua privacidade e se vc for trocar de roupa para sair outra vez por exemplo ( isso me aconteceu 3 vezes )como acontecia comigo , que chegava à tarde do passeio para me arrumar e sair para os restaurantes e a camareira batia na porta para preparar as camas para dormir acaba chateando um pouco e uma vez que após o café da manhã resolvi voltar para o quarto às 9h e eles bateram para conferir o frigobar . Wi-Fi não pega em todos os lugares .

Petit déjeuner incroyable et bon dîner. Par contre Acceuil déplorable et suivi horrifiant : nous avons payé pour une double luxury room pour avoir un balcon et une belle vue. Résultat : une petite fenêtre sur un bâtiment désaffecté. Nous avons demandé un changement et la première réponse a été : prenez le penthouse ... soit le double du Prix alors que des chambres supérieures étaient disponibles avec une plus belle vue à un prix inférieur. On a finalement changé pour une chambre supérieure normale avec une vue sympa sur la marina mais en payant la note on nous a gentiment dit qu’il n’y aurait pas de réduction et qu’il fallait voir ça avec expédia. Le lendemain ils changent d’avis et nous précisent finalement qu’il n’y aurait pas de réduction car on nous aurait prévenus lors du changement de chambre : pur mensonge !!! Une honte ils auraient au moins pu faire un geste commercial ... bref allez y dîner mais sinon passez votre chemin - décors ringard des chambres soit dit en passant

O hotel merece fazer parte do Leading Hotels. Atendimento impecável (Julie foi maravilhosa), instalações lindas, comida excelente, quarto aconchegante e no tamanho ideal (o quarto e o hotel). Fabulous First Time Visit
We had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at the Cape Grace the 1st week of October 2017. Due to an issue with my wife’s luggage, our arrival into Cape Town got off to a disappointing start. All of that changed when we arrived at the hotel late night and were met by Noxy. She was so warm and welcoming and immediately uplifted our mood. Then she upgraded us to a top floor room with a terrace. The room was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated but really what makes the hotel is the staff. The staff was genuinely some of the nicest people we have come across in our travels and were all concerned with making sure we had the best possible stay. There were a few in particular that we’d like to recognize. Noxy, as mentioned already, for the warmest welcome we’ve ever had at a hotel and her overall care for guest satisfaction. Lauren, for her friendly demeanor and genuine sympathy for our situation and the recommendations on where to find some essentials. Cemone, for her assistance throughout the trip in making arrangements and answering all of our questions. Finally, there is Progress who is one of the hotel’s chauffeurs. He made every ride a pleasure and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Cape Town and his family. All of the staff was warm and welcoming and each day we truly felt that we were “home.” Everyone was always willing to go above and beyond and we cannot express how professional yet friendly the hotel staff was. Perfect location in the V&A Waterfront.
Extremely attentive staff. Location is right directly at V&A Waterfront and convenient to freeways making travel to the wine region or Cape Point easy.

Disappointing for the price
More like a 3 star. Room was old, dark, no balcony, overlooking a car park. Pool small and crowded. Internet patchy. Service good. Forget about using the house car ever. R600 stolen from the room. Managers cordial but totally unhelpful for anything. Really - you can stay at the One and Only for the same price and enjoy massive modern rooms, a huge pool, beautiful views and balcolnies. The Cape Grace needs to modernise and up its game fast.
