Firstly Sandeep, we were hit with a tornado on Christmas Day followed by a severe weather system on New Years Day which caused localised flooding and road closures. All of which were out of our control and unprecedent events. We were not contactable as you stated, due to all communications cut off and power being out on the mountain. Again, something we did not anticipate or have any control over. When staff were able to safely depart from the property we were then only able to begin communications with guests while being offsite. This unfortunately wasn't until 1pm on New Years Day. We understand that it was not an immediate communication, however the best we could do under the circumstances. As you had booked with Expedia, their communications were inconsistent with their guests and we have investigated this through them.

This guest booked accommodation for the wrong dates on Wotif.com. They called us after the date had passed, so there was nothing we could do. We were expecting them to arrive and they didn't. This is an issue between the guest and Wotif - not with our property.

Our Terrace Kiosk is open daily from 7.30am to 3.00pm. Our restaurant is closed Tuesday evenings, which is when you stayed. These operating hours are on our website and sent to all guests in a pre arrival email 3 days prior to arrival. We do have midweek platters available for purchase, however, these do require 24 hours notice to prepare, as we don't always have fresh ingredients on hand. This information is also on our website.

Thank you for your feedback. Due to extreme staff shortages, our restaurant has had to close a couple of times over the last 2 months. Each guest receives a pre-arrival email 3 days prior to arrival, which advises if the restaurant will be open or not. Our apologies if this impacted poorly on your stay with us.
