This hotel is situated perfectly in the historic area of Gettysburg; convenient to Liberty Mountain. The staff was pleasant. My room, which was located directly across from the breakfast buffet was clean and in order upon arrival. The only downfall of that room was between 6 AM-10 AM I could hear the door slam everytime someone entered or exited the buffet. I would have rated 5 stars had it not been for that disturbance.

Great Location. It had clean and nice facilities. We stayed at a Best Western a few months ago and it was terrible so I was slightly reluctant about booking this one, but the reviews were good so we took a chance. It was really nice. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor overlooking the battlefield. We stayed in a suite. It was roomy and nice.

I paid extra for a room with a view , however that room was across from the 3rd floor dining area with a constant flow of traffic . The door slammed over and over from the moment we checked in at 4pm until 10:45 pm and then again starting around 5:45 am . The hotel allowed a guest to reserve the party room and they had zero respect for anyone in the surrounding rooms . Their kids ran up and down the hallways , adults were talking super loud in the hallway , loud music and there was even an altercation right across from our room . At 10:15 I finally called front desk and asked for something to be done . Unfortunately the relaxing anniversary weekend I planned was anything but relaxing . The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean, I would just never want to stay anywhere near the dining area again .

Overall property is good. We had noisy neighbors and the walls are thin. The “free” breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Limited choices, no bacon, rubber eggs, etc

After staying one night at another very pretentious hotel in Gettysburg we moved to this one and were so much happier, it was cheaper and was right in the middle of all the action. Felt safe walking around at night, great restaurants close by, etc... Wish we had stayed here the first night. The lady at the check in counter was fantastic, so friendly and informative. We would definitely stay here again. And breakfast was excellent in a lovely room with a view.

Property location was great with lots of food options in the area and everything is within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a great way to start the day with many options. Only downside was you could hear everything going on outside the room while in the room, including conversations that people were having at normal volume.

The hotel staff was nice, and the rooms were clean. However, our room was located on the first floor by the exit door for the stairs and the door slammed closed every time someone used the exit. Whenever I book a room through Expedia or one of its competitors, I get a subpar room that is either by the elevator, exit door, or the least desirable location. The tradeoff on the good price is the room locations. It seems like by purchasing a discounted room, the location and service are discounted to.

I am sorry that the door to the stairs was slammed during your stay. I will have our maintenance staff see if they can slow the door down to close softer. We do not look at how people book their rooms when assigning room numbers. We did see that you had 2 rooms and tried to get them close together. No matter how you book a stay with us the price is always the same from everyone that you can book with.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful, clean environment. Very comfortable furniture in the room, with ample kitchen space, including cabinets, microwave and fridge. Location is ideal for walking to the battlefield areas.
