Bischofshol, August 2016.
The Bischofshol was, for my recent business trip, a superb hotel. The location within the forest with excellent walking paths made the walk to where I was working for a few days a more pleasurable start and end to the day. The room itself was compact, very clean and modern, the shower absolutely hot! The dining room was excellent. The staff at every level were excellent and language was no object to their polite, friendly and helpful manner.

OK, but location...
Good bed, clean room. Hotel is far away from everything and it a bit pricey comparing quality and location. Anyway there is no reason to avoid this place.

good location but could make improvements
I always stay here because of it's location to where i have to give a talk at the local University. The staff are excellent, very friendly, the menu is limited but the food is nice. There are 2 points where I think they should improve = there is no facility for tea and coffee in the room and these days that should be a 'must'. Secondly there is no safe in the room - that should also be a 'must'. It was quite expensive for the room - I paid 75 euros for a single room - so I think to not have the above means it's a very expensive stay.

mein Favorit in Hannover
Speziell, wenn man mit vierbeinigen Fellmützen reist, ist das Hotel super; direkt im Wald und nur einige hundert Meter von der " Alten Bult" als Auslaufgelände für Hunde und Pferde entfernt.

Totally Okay Hotel. Reasonable price level. Good Breakfast. Rooms and beds are good. Little bad/none Wi-Fi connection in the rooms but OK in the hallway. Parking just outside.

Schönes Hotel mit Waldwirtschaft mitten im Wald!
Sehr entspannende Lage mitten im Wald, super freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück - was will man mehr! Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Off the beaten track.
Overall a nice hotel, but the breakfast lacks variety and if you're not visiting with a car while there are good public transport links close by, walking down a muddy, unlit road through a wooded area at night is not a fantastic experience.
