This is a great location for staying at Snowmass Village. There are a number of great restaurants, coffee, shops, and shopping within walking distance. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a working elevator in the hotel. There was a very helpful young man who sat outside the hotel, who worked for the property and helped us carry our luggage up to the third-floor. The room was OK, but definitely needed updating and the wood around the refrigerator and bathroom sink areas were badly chipped. There wasn’t an air conditioner and even though we were visiting her in early October, the room was quite warm. We had the ceiling fan going, and they also provide a standing fan. It really was not comfortable even at night. And we left the window open all day and all night. The front desk people were extremely helpful and kind. We did not eat at the restaurant as there weren’t many people there or at the bar. In addition, there were many restaurants within walking distance, and in close proximity if you wanted to drive to Aspen. The coffee and water stand in the lobby were very nice.
