So I read a lot of review and was concerned. The property was fine. A little dated but it was clean and the INCLUDED breakfast was good. There were eggs, sausage, potatoes and they weren't the typical microwaved food. There wasn't any fruit. The wi-fi worked fine. We were only there for 1 night but it met our needs. the cost was less than a chain and the rooms very comparable.

Was in the room for a few minutes and found a bed bug. Everything was really filthy in the room and very beat up. I immediately asked for a refund and checked out.

Great place for the price. Staff were all very friendly. This is an older place but lobby, dining area, hallways are immaculately clean. The place even smells clean! No smell of smoke or any other unpleasant odors anywhere including in my room. Can’t beat it. The hotel sits back a away from the road on a large grassy property away from any other businesses, parking lots etc. I felt very safe. Will definitely stay there from now on when in Adrian.

Get what you pay for I guess. Walls are falling apart and stained. Lamps and windowsills were dusty and there could have been more towels being we had the jetted tub room.

I plan on returning to this motel. The swimming pool is outside and inside, it's connected together. You can go from inside to outside and back inside. Breakfast was average, customer service was great and room was nice.

I was very nice staff was polite and me and my husband had a great time the room we stayed in was very clean the only thing that did not work was the phone but overall it was a great stay

Side door does not lock. Anyone can walk in. Bags of trash right outside the door for the 2 days i stayed there. Trash everywhere. Dirty tub and floor. Breakfast sucked.

Breakfast was nothing like mentioned on the site, no in house dining, and the rooms (toilet/shower) could have been cleaner.

Adrian visitor stays elsewhere next time.
It was not very clean in appearance. There was dust on almost everything. The shower was stained. The rear entrance door was broken to the point it would not close - let alone secure. I reported it immediately. 3 Days later nothing changed.

The staff was so polite and the facility was really clean. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Has a serious cockroach problem when alerted staff they acted as if they knew and cared less to see the photos and videos.

We didn’t get our room cleaned for the whole stay. We needed cleaned towels our room made and bathroom cleaned which none happened. So disappointed at this place. The breakfast was very plain I’m not coming back here ever again.

Peacefully quiet. Clean. Staff are lovely people. Would have liked a source of protein and fruit at breakfast, but not a big issue. Will definitely stay here again when I come back home to visit!

everything about the stay was pretty good. no complaints from me, however, I was charged an extra $110 or so for no apparent reason. I am unsure what the charge could have been for. we don't smoke and we did not leave the room a mess. so beware of extra fees for no apparent reason.

They need to stepup with kitchen staff. They can't even make Good coffee ☕.. they need to update little. Wallpaper coming down in hallways. It's a nice place to stay. But they need to make people feel more welcomed.

For a low cost option there was nothing to complain about. It met my expectations. Yes it’s dated. Yes it isn’t perfectly clean in bathrooms because it’s just old … but the room was spacious, the heat worked fine and nice sized fridge, microwave. Perfect for one night economical stay close to Adrian College.

Carlton Lodge is a good place. No elevator makes it hard for elderly to haul their luggage upstairs .could have a full breakfast instead of continental. No bathroom exhaust fans.
