Cosy haven
Overnight stay to meet up with family. Hotel very cosy, lovely at this time of year. Enjoyed drinks and light snack - the food was beautifully presented and tasty. The room was a small double, the bed was a bit too small for our requirements but comfortable. A lot of lovely touches with the facilities in the room - everything was supplied. Breakfast was very good with a continental buffet and cooked to order. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was friendly, offering a warm, communal feeling.

Enjoyable & comfortable stay
We enjoyed our stay at The Three Cups Inn, initially we had a teething problem with an extremely noisy radiator but they moved us promptly to another room smaller but fine. We dined there on 2 of our 3 nights stay and couldn’t fault the food and service. Breakfast was excellent, in all a very enjoyable and comfortable stay

A lovely welcome, a very well appointed room, and the meal we had that evening was wonderful. Just one word of warning, the ceiling beams in the dining area come down to around 5'8" from the floor, so if you're taller, you'll spend a lot of time ducking.. but that made for a lot of the entertainment too

Excellent stay for a birthday celebration with a large group of friends. The rooms were really well equipped, the service was excellent and the food was very tasty. I would definitely return!

Gorgeous place to stay. Bed, pillows and quilt are all to die for. Great evening meal and a great breakfast.

absolutely fantastic, very warm and friendly. loved the fresh milk for morning tea. only downsides were - no spare batteries for tv remote at reception (cured by raiding my torch!), also said could order newspaper for morning, lad behind reception hadn't heard of that, so showed him where it said in room notes.. he promised it would be organised - however come breakfast, no paper and the girl had no knowledge of the order. In spite of these minor inconveniences we loved our stay and would gladly visit again

A beautiful old pub with warm and comfortable rooms, friendly staff in a great location. Amazing breakfast options. I'd recommend the scrambled egg with smoked trout. Delicious.

Great location - 1 hour from Heathrow
One night on the way to Heathrow - excellent location - very good value for money. Please watch your head on the beams in the restaurant

What a Lovely Hotel
Friendly and helpful staff. Food is simple but tasty with decent portions. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. What more could you want?

Not worth the money!!
The place was nice, the rooms a little small but not a problem. We found the staff quite rude though! I put a note when I booked about early check in which I the phoned to check it was ok, they said yes this was fine. I phoned the day before to check it was still ok for early check in (we had a wedding we needed to get to so wanted to check in before), again they said this was fine. We turned up and the door was locked, so I knocked, rang the bell and phoned. When someone did finally answer she was quite rude saying they were shut. I then explained I’d asked for early check in. When she checked us in she said our room wasn’t ready, so again I explained I’d asked for early check in and we could see on the screen there was a note on the booking saying early check in. She then said we hadn’t asked for early checkin only one person had. She then very rudely said “well do you want me to ask the cleaner when they’ll be done”. So we said yes. We did manage to check in before we had to leave but the whole ordeal was painful with a very rude member of staff! The staff to be honest didn’t get better. They were all rude, quite snotty and seem to look down on us for some reason. The breakfast was nice but I won’t be coming back here and I’d advice unless you are very posh, don’t stay here! Definitely NOT worth the money!

First impression wasn't positive as two teenage girls on reception watched us struggle to get in the door then told us 'it is a little sticky sometimes'. Check in was then what I'd best describe as amateur. Our room was very small with some mold on the walls in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable though! There was nothing we noticed that pointed towards eco-friendliness

Good location
Lovely old pub with character super garden plus ducks and a stream . However a comfortable bedroom, was told it was small in advance but better suited as a single. Helpful staff lovely breakfast, evening meal.. a bit pricey.

Great place to stay
Really comfortable room, great breakfast and service - could not fault any of that. Parking on site - great. Location really good. Unfortunately people in room next to us were quite loud and because there was an internal door (locked) I think the sound transmitted - so ask for the room without that and you will have a great night's sleep!

Poor quality bed - very noisy road , shower fitting broken in the bathroom . Breakfast not served until 8am and no take out alternative offered , we departed at 7am

Great stay.
Lovely stay at the friendly Three Cups Inn. It has nice patio & garden & serves a great breakfast & dinner. Have to say that I wasn't so keen on the noise from the kitchen extractor outside the bedroom window but the really powerful shower in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise after a long day!

Avoid at all costs.
The worst hotel I've stayed in. Book in, was strange, her attitude was a bit like, what the hell are you doing here? No room in the car park, or the restaurant, they said they could find me a place at the bar but I'd have to wait 30minutes and they would have to prioritize everybody else. No other restaurants locally with any room, so crisps for dinner. Only 1 local shop, coop extremely poorly stocked. The room was clean and fairly comfortable but wifi dropped in and out constantly. The bath was small and toilet seat didnt fit. Extremely noisy all night, loud music until 2am then people talking until 4 am when I got up for work having had literally zero sleep. Obviously missed breakfast as had to leave at 4am. The only reason I would ever re visit is to tell them in person how rude and unprofessional they are.

I liked the location and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a bit on the small size but ok for the one night. Tall people beware, very low beams but they add to the overall happy feeling. Breakfast was lovely

Great service and wonderful foood
From the minute we set foot in The Three Cups the staff couldn't have done enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The room, although small, was very comfortable and having fresh milk and nice cafetiere coffee was great. We ate outside in the evening and the food was fantastic and the service friendly and efficient. The breakfast the next morning was great too; we had the full English and were pleased to see a lot of the produce was sourced locally. The only tiny downside was our breakfast table was covered in crumbs but we assume that was a momentary lapse. We definitely hope to return when next in the area.

Breakfast too early so was unable to attend. We stayed at Three Cups to attend a wedding so had a late night and price included breakfast. We believe it should be offered up until 10-11.00 am.

Three Cups Hurrah
My sister and I seldom get the chance to meet and catch up, and this stay in Stockbridge was planned to do just that. We had a fabulous meal in the 'Three Cups' and then went to the performance of 'Playhouse Creatures' in the town hall, excellent cast and direction. We came back and had a night-cap in the garden room hosted by Tommy the Cat. Overnight sleep excellent, no noises, and breakfast well chosen and serviced v quickly considering only one chap on duty. Would certainly recommend and visit again. Mind your head :)
