Nice hotel in a very lively part of town, but surprisingly little disturbance from the streets outside. Good value, and if you want to stay in the heart of the nightlife, it'd be hard to pick a better choice.

Location was excellent. Lobby was a bit run down, old style, but adequate for the price range. Staff family (?) and baby sleeping on the lobby floor, in bedding, at most hours of the day was a bit disconcerting and unprofessional. Made it seem like more of a family hostel than an actual hotel. Staff was attentive and helpful however. It's in a girly bar district, and caters to girly bar customers. Expect nothing more, nothing less.

スタッフの愛想もよく、チェックアウト後の荷物の預かりも嫌な顔せず応じてくれました。フロントがクーラーの効きが悪く、とても暑かったので、気になったのはそこぐらいです。部屋のクーラーはガンガン効きます。

Nice hotel close to nightlife on Street 136
Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of food at very good cheap prices. The room was clean if a bit plain. They have secure Wi-Fi and power outlets for standard U.S. powercords (220V, 50hz) which some of the fancier more expensive hotels don't.

Got a room with no windows, which was good because of all the noisy pubs nearby. Room was comfortable and clean, and had a combination safe and a small fridge. Breakfast was decent with omelet, juice, toast, and tea, and can be delivered to the room. Hotel staff was very helpful and spoke English well. Located close to the river and many restaurants and bars.

Good choice for centrally located hotel
Good hotel located right in the middle of the action. Just a block or so away from the river. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Rooms are adequate and clean. Small issue with the in room safe. They are older and sometimes not easy to opperate. Also epips be nice to have more than one coffee included in breakfast. Overall great stay and would recommend.

ホテルスタッフの対応は良かったです。 場所が繁華街のど真ん中なので、夜遊びが好きな方には最適な場所です。 窓がない部屋でしたが、寝るだけなので、むしろ外の騒音が入らず好都合でした。

C'est bon. On y est bien.

Good security and location
good: -aircon -big size room -location bad: -shower curtain mouldy -hot water takes long time to heatup and goes from hot to cold - safe is difficult to use (i locked myself out 3 times)

Nice hotel close to the riverside
The hotel was close to everything. I had the basic room, it had no windows and was on the small side. The nightlife was on the door stop but since my room had no windows I did not have any noise problem. The hotel should have key cards to open doors but still uses the old fashioned key. There mini market near where you can buy water,juice etc.

Well located
The hotel is well located near the river. It is on a street full of bars and nightlife places. So, not an ideal place if you visit with family. Otherwise, for single or business travel the location is great.

Great Location
The hotel is really all about location. If you enjoy nightlife and want to be in the middle of the action, this is a perfect spot to stay. The room and hotel itself are fairly comfortable - this is not the Ritz, but it's not a dump either. The AC worked great, the wifi was strong, and the staff were friendly. The hot water worked great in the shower, and overall the room and bathroom were fairly clean. Zero complaints, and I would stay here again.

Great hotel for the price
Pros 1. Price - 30 bucks per night 2. Location - Close to river front and couple of feet away from great night life. 3. Staff - Very accomodating 4. Room - Comfy bed, great showers and most importantly a huge safe deposit box in the room. I actually put my 13 inches laptop 5. Breakfast Cons 1. I can't think of any but probably wouldn't recommend for families. It's not about the hotel but about the location

Great location but noisy
Fantastic location close to riverside, bars & restaurants however it is right in the "entertainment" (i.e red light) precinct & the noise often carries over until the next morning. Take your ear plugs! Otherwise comfortable.

Gem in the heart of tourist street

Comfort in the heart of town near Sisovath Quay
Golden House Intenational is a comfortable clean hotel with friendly helpful hospitable staff, especially the indefatiguably energetic and perenially smiling Mai. The hotel is close to Sisovath Quay and the Central market. It is in the nightlife area with its accompanying hum and buzz and pulse, so it may not be the hotel of choice for guests not enamoured of noise, colour and activity at night. There are many interesting places to eat very close along the Sisovath Boulevard. I have stayed at this hotel before and I would stay again. I highly recommend Golden House International.

Good time in Cambodia
Great location. Good food. Prices are reasonable. Staff was great. I would go back for sure. There really is no better location in Phnom Penh. Elevator was handy. Easy to get a taxi.

Good choice close to the river
The hotel staff are great, they were very helpful with everything I needed. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is located close to the river in an entertainment area with lots of restaurants, bars, and some tourist attractions within easy walking distanc. Because of its proximity to the bars it can be a little noisy into the late hours of the night so maybe ask for a room in the upper floors.

A solid choice at a good price
I stayed here twice on a recent trip to visit a friend. This is a Cambodian run hotel, and my ratings reflect the fact that it's in Cambodia and that it's trying to be an affordable hotel. If you compared this to U.S. hotels the ratings would be a bit lower. The staff was very friendly and very eager to make sure I was satisfied, and that was great. The hotel felt very safe and secure, and had a small safe in the room. The AC was ice cold, and the wireless was great. The bed was clean and comfortable. If your used to U.S. hotels you might not like the cheap towels. So as a Cambodian hotel - a solid choice at a good price.

Good value, everything worked.
I highly recommend this hotel. Good value, nice people, good service, As many reviews have noted, it is in the middle of the girly bar part of town, which means it is noisy on the streets at night, but if that is not a problem for you, it is a nice place to stay.

ほこり１つない清潔なホテル，レストラン観光に便利
ホテルの玄関，ロビー，廊下，部屋に至るまで，塵・ほこり１つ落ちていないとても清潔なホテルで快適に過ごすことができました。新しい建屋ではありませんがぴっかぴかでした。
