We'll be back

Older style of building, but well maintained and the rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating in our requests, including a late request for a late check out.

old complex with basic usable facilities but noise from tenants above even though complained to management was bad - first could not hear the TV and secondly affected our sleep

A clean and well set room with a beautiful view, the motel and surrounds were very clean and it was well priced. The staff were friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The property was in walking distance to the town centre. However it is situated on a busy intersection. The family room was old, smelt musty. The second bedroom had no windows, which could be a fire hazard. A pipe in the bathroom was leaking and had obviously been leaking for quite a while as it was very rusty.The leak was coming from a room above through the pipe and onto the floor. The refrigerator wasn't working. The overall upkeep and maintenance was lacking. I travelled with family and we all agreed we wouldn't stay there again.

The conditions of the room were terrible, it looks like it's falling apart. I guess that there are not a lot of options to stay in that town, so it's that hotel or nothing else. The sheets look clean, but I was afraid to walk on the carpet bear foot.

Pleasant motel on the edge of town

A large room with a view of Mt Warning, friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk into town for dinner but quite steep on the way back!

Don't judge a book by it's cover

Dont let outside of property put you off. We were very happy with our stay. Had all amenities we needed. No complaints from us.

Room was clean and tidy with everything I needed for the night. Staff were friendly and it was really quiet. Two blocks from town if you wanted to walk down for dinner. Enjoyable stay.

Large Comfortable Room

Older style motel, uphill from the Murwillumbah town centre. Our room (queen and single bed) was spacious with pleasant leafy views. The upper floor, accessed by stairs, would have even better views. Our room had a table and chairs. The wardrobe and a bench with microwave, hospitality tray, small frig, plates and cutlery were in a separate room. Vanity/sink was external to the small bathroom, with shower over bath. The room had a door onto an elevated, shared front veranda and another to the barbecue area at the rear of the motel. The décor is dated but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Our room was quiet, aircon worked well and our sleep was undisturbed. There is limited undercover parking under the motel and a larger open parking area at the rear.

Lovely, clean accommodation for its age, friend hosts, comfy bed, nice touch with in room tea, coffee, biscuits, fresh milk and bottle water. Only dislike, we had to park on the street due to trailers and several tenants taking up multiple car parks. Would stay again

Wonderful view of my warning so the mountain view room lived up to the advertising Very clean and great to be able to make coffee and breakfast in the morning. My only small issue was the bed was not the best but my husband thought it was good and he slept really well. So close to the town centre as well. Many thanks to the hosts and staff. Great stay

We are a bit up and down about this motel, the room was fine with plenty of room but the main problem was the bathroom to find we had no light in there at all and the exhaust fan didn’t work either a top louvre was removed to supply ventilation a bit of a problem with children. The other issue was and a reason why we booked with them was breakfast bought to your room even though it’s still listed as a service online and in there in room service book when we asked for a order leaflet was told “we don’t do breakfast anymore”?? Left feeling the whole experience was bit ##**;:

Thank you for your review . We have had the fan and the louvre repaired. Unfortunately with things being so slow during covid the lady we had doing the cooking is no longer with us. We are looking to have this back in April now things are starting to improve. My sincere apologies I did not think to remove it from the websites

They should not advertise that wi-fi is available. It does not work in the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Friendly service, clean and tidy room

Clean, tidy and spacious. Nice hot shower. Owner was also caring enough to make a phone call in the morning to warn us about road closures. Just check the radio before you go to bed....in case the alarm goes off early the next morning.

Customer greeting was zero, we were barely acknowledged except to pay and told where our rooms were, rude, outside needed attention to tidying up.

Exploring NSW North Coast

Good Motel when spending a few days exploring the area. Only a short drive to Brunswick Heads and the Tweed Coast. A short work into the main area of town which has plenty of cafes and restaurants. There is also a good Club and a number of pubs close by.
