Very cute little boutique hotel, tucked into the San Blas neighborhood. Awesome location, very friendly and plenty of space for our family of 4. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed with my 3 teenagers for about 5 days. The room was awesome--two story with a loft second floor. First floor had a kitchenette, living room w tv, dining table and 4 stools, bedroom with door that locked, and bathroom. Loft floor had 3 twin beds and a bathroom. Balcony on first floor, too. It was close to the Plaza de Armas, only a few minutes walk. Safe area. Very small sidewalks and no parking, plus steps inside, so not good for wheelchairs. But the service was excellent! The room was cleaned daily and food was replenished each evening--eggs, cheese, butter, jelly, fruit, coffee, tea, yogurt, and fresh bread (delicious!). The kitchen had an electric kettle for tea and instant coffee (provided). Bottled water was brought to us when requested (very affordable at 2 soles/bottle). Pretty gardens on site. Reception arranged taxis for us to and from the airport and train station as needed at no extra cost (in fact, they negotiated a better price than we could). The neighborhood was quiet and easy to sleep in. We had hot water when we showered, so that was good. CON: one negative was that the bathrooms were a little smelly if we didn't open the bathroom windows, so definitely leave them open as much as possible. But with the windows open/the door closed, it was fine. My kids loved this hotel! We would definitely recommend it.

The best place we stayed in Peru
I felt brilliant for choosing this place for my husband and I. Great little apartment with everything we needed. Even a machine to make fresh orange juice with the oranges in the fruit bowl in the kitchen. Every afternoon the staff would bring eggs, bread, yogurt, fruit, jam, butter, cheese and more for our breakfast the next day. It was so nice to prepare our own breakfast when we wanted to vs having to get up and get dressed to go to a dining room. I cannot recommend this place enough. Also, it is away from the noice of the square but so close so walking here was not an issue. You must stay here!!

Wow! What a beautiful place. Augustin welcomed us with a friendly smile and personal service and made sure we were comfortable, well taken care of and he even got the fireplace started for us. The place is wonderful and the accommodations for 6 people were beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this place and we will for sure be staying here next time we are in Cusco. They went beyond our expectations.

This place was spacious. We had a kitchenette, a sitting area with a wood burning fireplace, a separate bedroom on the first floor and a loft with 3 beds. It was nice to make tea in the room, they had a variety of tea bags plus dried coca leaves. They also had a basket of fruit. They delivered items in the evening to make breakfast the next day. Since we didn't have time, we ate the bread with butter and preserves/cheese

Location. Clean. Convenient.
Great location. In between Plaza de Armas and San Blas. Balcony has very nice view of the city. Bathrooms are clean and hot water. Complementary luggage storage. The hotel booked our pick up and drop off service to the airport and reserved covid testing. It was very convenient. Fresh fruit and eggs delivered every day.

You cook your breakfast. 1 slice of ham is stingy.
It's tucked away in a super narrow street. We had trouble finding it at first. One thing to mention... "Breakfast" is 2 eggs/peron, 1 slice of ham/peron, 2 pieces of bread/person and some fruits that you must cook yourself in the room. If I had known that I was going to cook every morning, I wouldn't have booked this place.

Mrs. Olivia Casona La Recoleta is located in the Historic District of Cusco. Throughout the historic area, as in so many cities in the world, the streets are narrow. Located 650 meters from the Plaza de Armas, three blocks away, its location is easy. It is not a hidden street and it is very well known. We are sorry for your difficulties. Every afternoon the basic supplies of a breakfast are placed in each department. It is usual for passengers to leave between 3 and 5 in the morning to make excursions to Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Humantay... At any time, they can have breakfast or prepare it to take away. We always attend to any request, whether they want a vegetarian or vegan breakfast, if they want certain fruits, to put more of one food and remove another... We are sorry that we did not know about your requirements. Also the inconvenience of having to prepare it. CLR

This was our favourite property in all of Peru! It was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. The kids were upstairs in the spacious loft and we had the master on the main floor. The wood burning fireplace was perfect on the cool mornings and chilly mountain evenings. I have the fondest memories of our time here. Coming back after an adventurous day in Cusco was a welcome reprieve. The fresh squeezed orange juice and provisions provided daily were also a nice perk.

We had a great room with a loft and kitchen. Agostin was friendly. He made us tea when we first checked in. The staff also helped us start a fire in the fireplace. Very close to museums and the plaza de armas.

Traditional style property with kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Close to square. Great for 2 adults and 3 kids (15, 13, 11). Fresh bread, fruit and eggs every day. Kids loved making orange juice with juicer. They also had ham and cheese and we made sandwiches for the day. Like many old properties in the area you can’t tell what is behind the bland front door. Pretty cool courtyard and great staff. They held our bags for us so we could enjoy the day wandering before our flight out. Is on a narrow street with 2-foot sidewalk could be tough with little kids.

Casa La Recoleta in Cusco
Great location near San Blas and Plaza de Armas. Beautiful setting and nice spacious rooms, great to have a kitchen and living space. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel close to the main square in Cusco. It was wonderful to have our own two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with kitchen - it was like having our own home in Cusco! We loved the fact that our fridge was stocked every afternoon with food for breakfast the next day: eggs, bread, butter, milk and other food. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable - they were all friendly, helpful and gracious. The hotel is on a narrow street that is full of character but makes getting luggage in and out a bit challenging. We greatly enjoyed our time here and were sorry to leave. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our family of four stayed for 3 nights in a 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment was snug, not fancy but very comfortable; two bedrooms (with heaters), two bathrooms, a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave. Everything worked well and it was very quiet. The front desk people were lovely, a special thanks to Augustine. Every afternoon they come and leave a lot of breakfast stuff for the next day, including fruit, cereal, milk, bread, eggs, ham, cheese. The location is great, it is about a 7 minute walk to the main plaza, most restaurants are also within a 5-10 minute walk, and there is a small convenience store and a drug store within a 2 minutes walk. They arranged for our airport transfer and that also went smoothly. Strongly recommended if you are a family looking for a place in Cusco.

I felt like family during our visit. Our apartment had a fireplace, large bathroom, 2 floors, and quiet and a few minute walk to the center. Only negative would be the very drafty old building...but 2 heaters were provided!

I really enjoyed staying here, the Manager Nuria and her stsff Augustino and Edi were excellent, accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast served in the room was very good and enough for lunch. The lounge had an open fire and each room had an electric heater. Very convenient location for the centre of Cusco with a nice atmosphere and colourful gardens.

Family vacation to Cusco & Machu Picchu
The front desk staff is very friendly. Norea was fluent in English, Eddie & Augustin were very helpful with bags and starting our fireplace in the evenings). They helped book a private taxi for 6 hours for our family of 5 (kids are 12,11, & 6 years old). They brought fresh bread and eggs each day. The cozy courtyard was beautiful. The hotel is about 2-3 blocks from the Plaza de Armas/Main Square. La Bodega Pizza place was awesome (cash only). The sign by the entrance is very easy to miss, and the street in front is very narrow with a sidewalk only wide enough for one person. Highly recommend Casona La Recoleta

Hidden Gem
This place was amazing!!!! It was beyond comfortable. The staff, especially Nuria and Agustin, were kind and so accommodating. They were there to help at all times. It was a bit unnerving to walk down the narrow streets with the cars just an inch or two away from you but all of Cuzco's main square is like that. Even though our stay was short and we were unable to explore the surrounding area due to taking the time to acclimate to the altitude, the comfort of the loft and the view made up for it. A couple of days before arriving, I called and spoke to Nuria and she arranged to have someone pick us up at the airport. When we arrived I was relieved to see my name on a board held by Percy who was there to pick us up. The trip got even better, when I was able to arrange all transportation, my Muchu Picchu tour, and even a Cusco city tour through him. I had no worries, just had to be sure I would be at the lobby at the agreed to time. I credit Nuria for putting me in contact with Percy's boss Osvaldo and just having our family adventure run smoothly. Nuria even had my check- in plane tickets printed out for me the morning we had to leave. It was first class service all the way. I would definitely go back.

Comfortable and convenient, with great breakfast
Comfortable and convenient apartment/hotel on a quiet, if narrow, street, just a few minutes from the hub of Cusco. One of the best features was the daily basket of breakfast items that the staff would provide -- including eggs, fruits, breads, yogurt -- that we could prepare in our own kitchen. The Wi-Fi was a bit weak, though, but that was generally true all over Peru, outside of Lima.

Lovely spot for family in Cusco
Great location. In the heart of Cusco. It is easy walking distance from main square. On small, very narrow street which is hard for some taxis to find and/or stop. Otherwise a real treat. Great for our family of 5. Great Value. 3 twin beds up in loft and separate bedroom for us. Nice courtyard. Nice kitchenette. GREAT service.

lovely personal hotel short walk to city centre
A garden oasis in middle of busy Cusco. Lovely staff with personal attention. Almost has a B&B feel . Welcomed with coco tea and fire in fire place set up for us. Breakfast ingredients provided to room . The only minor issue was that in the room you could hear footsteps from other rooms.

It was excellent. We got a very comfortable apartment with a kitchenette, chimney, food, hot water showers, cable tv, strong wifi, and plenty of beds to accommodate the entire family.

European Influence in South America
What a nice surprise! After a virtual nightmare with our lodging in Lima, this place went well above our expectations. Fresh fruit, cheese, eggs, bread, ham.... All delivered to us each morning. We also weren't expecting daily housekeeping. They did a great job. This place is settled among the cobblestone streets of old Cusco and is steps from the main square. Perfect for groups and the pics represent exactly what to expect. The only problem, if there is one, is that it can be difficult to load/unload bags as the street is very narrow and one direction. Don't count on your taxi driver to hold up traffic while you take your time! Great experience. Highly recommended.

Economical, clean facility well located in Cuzco
Beautiful old colonial house converted into a hotel, lovely flowers in the garden, well maintained, friendly staff. Difficult location on a narrow street, but very nice once inside! Within 10 minutes walk of Cuzco's central plaza and ancient Inca sections of the city. Restaurants nearby, within easy walking distance. We would stay there again if visiting Cuzco.

Nice apartment hotel
A very nice apartment hotel. Features a fireplace, a kitchen and make your own breakfast. We cooked eggs and made fresh juice, lots of bread and eggs, but only 1 pc of cheese and ham per person. Our place was one with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 3 people. Good that the place comes with 2 heater for the cold nights. The rate was $105 usd via expedia, except when arrive the hotel charge us $110 instead. The road to the hotel was really narrow, has a sidewalk of 18" with rough stone blocks. I would not recommend this hotel for seniors or people need support for walkings. When a bigger car pass by you it can touch you. The hotel is within walking distance to Plaza Armas, also a good pizza place just few steps from there. Hotel can arrange a half day Cusco tours for $25 usd per person (Hector was a very good guide) and a full day tour of Sacred Valley for $45 usd per person (Abel was our driver and guide, he was excellent). The taxi from hotel to the Poroy train station was $50 soles

Excellent staff went above and beyond!
We arrived in Cuzco and were greeted by the friendly face of Augustine, the clerk/porter/room service/do-everything man who was so charming and helpful throughout our stay. The cute, apartment-style, room with the full kitchen was very comfortable and allowed us to feel more like locals than outsiders. The room was clean and the fridge was stocked every morning by Augustine!

Mycket trevligt och hemtrevligt hotell. Kändes som vår egen lilla lägenhet med en söt trädgård utanför med många blommor och tre papegojor.Bra service. Vi fick en mycket enkel men helt ok frukost påfylld i vårt kylskåp varje kväll och en härlig brasa i den öppna spisen. Några minuters sakta promenad till det stora torget.

Cusco family trip
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. We booked the family suite which had a master bedroom and a loft with three beds, perfect for our family of 5. There was a fridge, cook top and all the dishes and utensils you would need. Each day they would put fresh eggs, ham, cheese, bread, butter, jam and lots of fresh fruit in our room for breakfast. They even had a orange juice press and we loved making fresh juice every morning. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone with a family.

Não é hotel e sim apartamento
Apesar de não se tratar de um hotel propriamente, o fato de ser um apartamento mobília do permite uma certa autonomia. Há fogão, pequena geladeira, pia, lareira. As camas são muito confortáveis e o ambiente aconchegante. Os jardins são um charme. Os arredores não são turísticos. Comum ver cusquenhos por lá. Rua estreita, mas bem segura.
