I agree with other reviews that there is confusion amongst the staff and that important things are left uncommunicated. This is NOT a dog friendly hotel as advertised. The whole group apparently, and not just this one location. I was made to sign a form saying my dog wouldn't be left in the room, and then was told the dog was not even allowed in the lobby. So what was I to do during my spa treatment or dinner with friends? This policy makes no sense at all. The GM, even though I asked twice to speak with him/her, was unavailable. There was confusion about my credit card used as a guarantee for F&B and spa charges. Apparently you must choose an exact amount and handing over your card at check in is not enough?! And payment is taken directly at the spa so bring your credit card with you! I was not informed. I wanted to spend my last couple of hours in the spa before check out. The chairs were full inside, so I asked that the door be unlocked to the terrace lounge chairs. It was a glorious day. I was told they are not allowed to open outside, although it had been open the previous day...in not nice weather. I just gave up. Stay was riddled with confusion and frustration, even after speaking with several managers. Not the GM though. Advice: when a guest asks to speak to the GM, say of course! Then get the highest ranking person in the building. Telling a guest that they must first explain the issues before a manager is alerted only makes the guest more angry. I will not return.
