This is NOT a five star hotel. They had a coffee maker with no coffee in the room and when asked they said you have to buy it. I was checked in quickly and that was the only positive of this hotel. We asked for an extra blanket and they said they didn’t have one. There was no view or windows in our room, it felt like a prison. They had frosted sliding doors that were left open and could not lock, when I asked for them to come fix them, they said they would lock them from the outside, WHAT?!?! That means anyone from the outside can access the room. Also, it was a mess from the outside around the room area. The shower leaked excessively and the faucet spewed water all over the place. Overall the worst experience we have had at a betel that claims to be five star, the rating should be a 3.5 max. They remodeled a few things cheaply and called it a five star hotel.

Great boutique hotel near downtown area.
This was a great high-end boutique hotel that has a small but cute rooftop pool and terrace great for grabbing a quick drink. We had an issue with the room, but hotel management quickly fixed the issue and was resolved in a positive manner. Location is near downtown, but you will need a taxi or be okay with at least a 10-minute walk to the shopping area.

Nice hotel!
Very nice hotel. I really enjoyed my stay. I wish it had a better gym but there are nice gyms in the area to go to. The WiFi was very slow but that seems to be the case all over Beirut.

Bon hôtel idéalement situé
Hôtel situé dans un quartier sans charme particulier mais qui est central et à proximité de nombreux restaurants et bars notamment dans le quartier Mar Mikael a 10 mn à pied. La chambre est spacieuse propre et bien équipée. Le nettoyage notamment des parties communes pourrait être amélioré. L’hotel Ne correspond pas aux standards habituels des « boutique hôtels » mais est malgré tout d’un excellent niveau de confort. Le roof top est équipé d’une petite piscine mais est assez bruyant avec le bruit des routes avoisinantes. Le petit déjeuner est cher pour une qualité de produits assez moyennes. Dans l’ensemble bon rapport qualité prix pour le séjour qui je viens de passer donc hôtel à recommander.

Good helpful staff, nice common areas, beautiful rooftop. Unfortunately many rooms face a common passage or a tiny internal courtyard, so there is little natural light.

This small ultra-modern hotel is ideally situated in Beirut. Unbeatable quality for money. Very clean, confortable, excellent service. Delicieuce breakfast on the 10th floor overlooking the city.

We had a great stay, the location and service are amazing. The staff was very helpful. The only negative thing was the fact that the windows opened onto some service area. So you don't get any natural daylight.

First of all, it is definitely not 5 star hotel. I would give it good 3 star. Positives: Very pleasant staff, comfortable bed. We arrived late evening, then went to upstairs restaurant which was empty and only owners with their friends were having their dinner there. Food was just ok. Owner of that hotel came up to us and had a conversation about hotel and how we should not book anywhere else and etc. I had executive room, by the time we got back from their restaurant it was stinking with toilet smell (drainage) so badly! But we were tired and sleepy. In the morning I woke up to the worst view! It’s horrible! Room is looking at some building and roofs of distroyed buildings! Tried to have a bath - bath is not working, went to have shower - and it’s literally so smal, my husband almost could not fit in there! And this shower is also leaking and flooded all the bathroom floor. I do not recommend this hotel, especially for such price. There are definitely better options in Beirut in that segment of hotels.

Hôtel confortable, chambre très bien sans être extraodinaire. L’emplacement est bon et le quartier agréable mais pour aller vers la centre-ville il faut passer par un petit terrain vague sous une bretelle d’autoroute, ce qui n’est pas très réjouissant, surtout la nuit. Personnel très gentil et prévenant.

This hotel looks nice and the staff are pleasant but not much help (they couldn't help with the sewage smell, where in the whole of Beirut to get shoes repaired or help us with our high/quiet floor request). If you want to iron some clothes they are not able to provide an iron or ironing board and you would have to pay (~£6) for cleaning a shirt. The hotel is quite noisy, both from other rooms (not good sound insulation) and from road noise from the 2 major roads intersections just outside (hence we wanted a high floor). We asked for a high floor prior to check in but this wasn't given, the hotel was busy but during room allocation our request wasn't taken on - not everyone could have pre-booked or requested their room surely! The shower leaked over the floor no matter how careful or tight you pulled the doors and if you lifted the covers on the drainage points on the floor so your feet didn't get continually wet you got a heightened chance of sewage smell. A few times the sewage smell in the hotel, particularly in reception and the lower floors was nauseating. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean. The roof pool area was pleasant but we can't recommend staying here.

Great location within walking distance of great restaurants very close and 15 mins to downtown. Very friendly and helpful staff on front desk. Generous breakfast included. Would definitely recommend. Only down side pool very small, jackuzzi size and just 3 sun beds. But lovely roof for sundowner cocktails with views across city and to sea.

Hotel muy bien situado, con habitación con buen tamaño, cama cómoda y baño con gran ducha. Instalaciones generales: tiene una planta 10 con restaurante y piscina espectacular. Todo el hotel muy limpio y cuidado. Servicio muy profesional de sus trabajadores, especialmente el lobby y camareros. Modernes und sauberes 5-Sterne-Hotel in zentraler Lage, mit echt coolem Rooftop mit angenehmen Wind in einer sonst ziemlich stickigen und heiss-feuchten Stadt. Das Hotelpersonal war äusserst professionell und in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit. Wir durften sogar später auschecken. Das einzige, was uns ein Dorn im Auge war, war die Strasse, an der das Hotel liegt. Wenn man aus dem Hotel geht, dann sieht man eine total stinkige und verdreckte Seitenstrasse, mit herumliegendem Abfall und nicht begehbarem Gehsteig. Das hat das Hotel absolut nicht verdient. Ansonsten alles gut!

O Monot is wonderfully located within walking distance to many of Beirut's sights. Achrafieh, Gemmayzeh, Saifi, Martyr's Square and Downtown are all relatively easy strolls. O Monot is clean, modern and staffed by some of the most helpful people I've met in any hotel.

Perfect stay
This hotel is only 10 minutes away from Downtown Beirut and you can get pretty much anywhere on foot. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the rooftop pool is perfect to enjoy an afternoon of sun or an after-dinner drink. Service is excellent - the staff is extremely helpful. They arranged a day trip to Byblos for us and tried to accommodate all our requests. A big thank you to all the reception staff because they made us feel welcome and at home. We will most definitely choose O Monot again should we visit Beirut in the future.

Tolles Stadthotel für einen Aufenthalt in Beirut
Wir hatten unser Wochenende in Beirut mit ein wenig Skepsis gebucht. Uns hatte dies Stadt fasziniert, wir wollten sie kennen lernen. Das O Monot Hotel hat uns hier auf Grund seines Styles sehr überzeugt, ebenso die Dachterrasse. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und persönlich vom Empfangspersonal auf das Zimmer gebracht. Dieses war groß, geräumig und komfortabel. Das I-Tüpfelchen war eine handgeschriebene (!) Nachricht, dass man sich freut, uns begrüßen zu dürfen, inkl. kleinem Teller mit sechs kleinen, sehr delikaten Kuchen/Keksen. Sehr persönlich, sehr herzlich und sehr außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet mit rd. 20 USD ist zwar nicht sehr günstig, aber durchaus sein Geld wert. Vor allem der Ausblick aus dem Restaurant lässt mind. ein Frühstück dort empfehlen. Alles wird individuell zubereitet (Eierspeisen, Kaffee etc.). Und der Service ist sehr charmant und aufmerksam. Wir haben das auch abends getestet - bei einem Wein und Cocktail. Sehr schön. Auch die Empfehlung von den Mitarbeitern der Rezeption bzgl. Ausflügen und Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr gut. Unser Tagestrip nach Biblos, Harissa und zu den Jeita Grotten wurde super organisiert. Die Bezahlung wurde einfach über die Hotelrechnung geregelt. Und der Trip hatte sich gelohnt. Unsere Empfehlung ist zudem: Schauen Sie sich Beirut in der Vorweihnachtszeit an und Sie werden überrascht sein, wie man dekorieren und wie weltoffen man sein kann - ein Weihnachtsbaum vor der Moschee, das hat uns beeindruckt.

Very nice luxury boutique hotel, rooftop pool bar!
This is a lovely luxury boutique hotel that is very close to several great neighborhoods in the area. It has a really beautiful rooftop bar with pool, and the rooms and baths are luxurious. One thing to keep in mind is there is construction in the building immediately adjacent to the hotel so some rooms will be exposed to alot of noise. They told me it was supposed to end at night, but it kept me awake well past midnight and starting at 5am despite my repeated complaints... So make sure to get a room far from the building!
