Nice stay
Really nice view, beautiful location, excellent owner, excellent breakfast, very small room, tight bathroom, very clean. We needed a downstairs room and I think the upstairs rooms were bigger. We can't do stairs.

Wir wurden von superfreundlichen Gastgebern empfangen, hatten ein tolles Frühstück und ein großes, sauberes Zimmer. Das Haus selbst würde aber sicherlich eine Renovierung gut vertragen. Insgesamt hat es uns aber gut gefallen.

Great friendly owners with a breakfast that will fill you up for the rest of the day. Room was clean and tidy. Located about 5 miles from Clifden in a quiet, rural location with views that will take your breath away.

Worst Experience I ever had
Worst experience in my life.We arrived there from Kildare town with my family and my sister's family (3 hour and a half) We booked with hotels.com When we arrived there the host said she doesn't work with hotels.com and my room was confirmed but how she said my booking was through Expedia but I never booked with Expedia I booked with Hotels.com But the worst part was that my sister's room was cancelled and she said hotels.com cancelled it for no reason but my sister didn't get any cancellation emails from them and hotels.com kept asking through email how was her check-in How did they cancelled her room then? We showed her hotels.com email and she said she doesn't know anything because she doesn't work with hotel.com She didn't care that we were with our little kids and they were exhausted because of long distance and my daughter started crying She said because my room was confirmed I can stay but not my sister's family But we planned to spend our holiday together and I refused+she said she that her property is adults only How is that possible because my booking was 2 adults 1 Child We struggled to find smthg and we were forced to go back in Galway which is 1.5 hour distance from there I was so angry because we couldn't find anything at that time My holiday was cancelled because of this property and I never come back there Very disappointed😡

Readers, please note that prior to this review I have already reported this person to B&B Ireland for the manner in which I was abused by him on his arrival. He was so intimidating that I had called my husband for security when his brother stepped in and apologized for his behavior. I had held his room- a double and single - for him and showed it to him , but he was demanding accommodation for seven people , which I didn't have. I forfeited the charge of 135 euro for the room and was glad that he decided to go away. His brother was a gentleman , so unlike Lungu.

t and relaxation
The host and hostess were very welcoming and accommodating. The location was stunning and peaceful and can be enjoyed from a sunroom available to the guests. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with many choices and prepared individually. We totally enjoyed our time at Ocean Villa.

This Villa is adorable. The breakfast was very good and the owners are so welcoming! The roads in the area can be a little challenging to navigate but well worth the risks. The town nearby offers great dining options. We have already recommended it as a spot to stay for the in-laws during their trip next year.

A really enjoying stay. We spent 1 night during a road trip in Connemara. Ocean Villa is at 4 km of Clifden and it is great because far from tourists aeras. The view on the sea is great. A very nice stay.

bonne adresse.
très bonne adresse. manque un peu de restaurant dans les alentours…. dommage. il faut prendre la voiture pour aller au pub le plus proche à plusieurs kilomètres. (Pub à côté du magasin qui fait office de Poste) bonne adresse.

Lovely place
A really lovely place run by a nice couple. Quiet and very clean. Delicious breakfast. Be sure to drive Sky Road and see the view.

Très bien dans l'ensemble. Une des salles de douche était petite et le système pour l'eau chaude un peu compliquer â utiliser.

3 day break in July
Great welcome and super breakfast. 10 mins drive the quick way around the Sky Loop, but go the other way for an amazing view from the viewpoint. We hit a couple of days of Mediterranean-like temperatures, which added to the stay.

No twin room available on arrival.
It didn’t work out quite as expected as our late in the day booking had not been received by the property owners . Unfortunately they weren’t able to accommodate us in a twin room as they had none available although it was advertised on this site.

Après nous avoir mis dans une chambre double avec 2 lits simple transformée en triple avec un lit supplémentaire pliant nous nous sommes vu proposer, en revenant de dîner, une deuxième chambre car une réservation venait de se desister. Nous avions au départ réservé une chambre avec un lit double et et lit simple pour 3 adultes La chambre ne pouvait même pas accueillir nos 3 valises ! Heureusement qu il y a eu ce désistement ce qui nous a permis de respirer Pour l’info la chambre de 3 adultes a été donnée au un autre couple car le monsieur ne pouvait pas brancher sa machine pour respirer la nuit Pour info mon épouse et moi sommes aussi appareillés mais vu que nous ne restions qu une nuit les propriétaires on fait un choix Dommage !

Remote, senic, nice and neat
Located quite remote and not that easy to find, but in a very senic surrounding. Hosted by a very nice lady, who makes stunningly good breakfast (try the smoked salmon) and strong coffee!

Wünderschöne Pension mit traumhafter Aussicht!
Die Aussicht von der Unterkunft aus ist einfach herrlich. Im Garten gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten um die Aussicht in Ruhe zu genießen und dies sollte man auch tun!

Nice country house facing the bay
It was uncertainty finding the premises as Google Map leads you to the narrowest lane possible. At times we really thought we were driving into no-man's-land! The hotel has a nice, homey atmosphere and a pretty lawn facing the bay. The owner-couple was gracious and friendly and breakfast was good. Beware: they only take cash in Euros.

Closed for December
Don't make the same mistake we did! Even though this place takes bookings through this website over December, they are actually closed! We had to find somewhere else after arriving and discovering this :(
