It was lovely to be in an older stylish property even though it was surrounded my modern day sky scrappers. I thought it was lovely and close to the food market and street food so not far to go for good food.

Good overnight stay
Good place for 1-night stay. Loved how close it was to Lau Pa Sat hawker station. Very convenient via MRT. Easily walkable to many places. Check-in and check-out was good. Wish check-in was a bit earlier (flight arrived in the morning and we were only able to drop off our bags, wish we could’ve freshened up a bit before heading out into the town). Overall very clean and nice place. Loved the robes and slippers in the room.

2 stays 2 different experiences
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel during the same week. Took a 2 day trip in between to Kuala Lumpur. First time everything was simply amazing and couldn’t have asked for anything more. We went for our honeymoon and they even gave us a bottle of wine. This time though the room smelled like humidity and the mini fridge was leaking. There were water bubbles on the door and did not feel safe spending the night in the room. We asked to change and got another one but it still wasn’t as good as the first one we had. The staff was extremely nice except for one guy at the front desk who gave us attitude when we gave our luggage for the to hold for 2 days until we came back after we got the authorization from like 3 other people. If it wasn’t for this I would have 100% given it a 5/5 following my first stay.

The room is small but clean and organized. The property is next to Satay Corner where you can eat different kind of noodles, seafood, and other authentic food. It’s walkable to China town.

Great location
We had a fantastic time in Singapore. The hotel was in an excellent position and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable but the bathroom had glass walls and a sliding door that did not provide much privacy. The Airconditioning was also set far too cold.

Excellent choice for those who really love the food stalls, as the most famous on is right across the street. They close the street every evening to place tales for the diners. Note that when the food stalls are crowded it can make for an unpleasant dining experience. So try to miss the heavy times. Dont miss the oyster cakes, and of course the satay. Good luck deciding which of the many satay vendors to choose!

Great hotel and location
Hotel is in a great location, 2 mins from tube station. Walkable to MBS and the hawker food market next door is amazing. Pool and pool bar are fab too. My only negative was room was very dark even with lights on and not a lot of space for suitcases. However complimentary water, juice and nuts a lovely touch. Air conditioning very good, bathroom very spacious with large bath and separate shower. Will stay again as staff friendly and hotel is quirky in a good way.

Heritage Grandeur
The room was a bit musty smelling. Dampness ie. our own face cloth took 2 days to dry. Humidity is part of the tropics so we weren’t too bothered. A beautiful, heritage room and public places. Attentive Staff excellent.
