Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fabulous! Overall, very clean property and well maintained. Our room did have some cleanliness issues, though. Previous guest hairs on bed and pillows as well as in bath tub and sink. Some dirt stains in tub that could have been wiped down. The room had been cleaned but not as thoroughly as necessary.

Such a nice hotel! Clean, spacious and so close to Mary Washington University since it's right across the street. Love that it is pet friendly AND very clean!

We arrived with our kids around 11:40pm. Tired, the weather on the way was awful. Upon arrival, there was only one other person at the desk with the attendant. Unfortunately the checkin process took extremely too long given that there was only one other person checking in. My guess is there was an issue with the other guest checking in, but I’d expect for the attendant to show better judgment to the family with kids arriving late in the evening. With very little acknowledgment or communication, about 10 minutes went by. Finally the guest that was having issues checking in instructed the attendant to check us in. As we had reservations in place, our checkin took roughly a minute. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff; impeccably clean hotel; we happened to stay in a brand new room on the third floor. Everything was great and they welcomed our beloved dog with treats at the reception desk.

First room didn’t have a bathroom door and the tv didn’t work. So we asked for a different room. The second room sounded like renovations were being right above our room. Not something we wanted to hear at night and first thing in the morning.

My God! They have got to get new mattress. The one I slept on was so worn out! It had knots in the mattress. My body is sore. I did not sleep well at all.

This hotel has a very convenient location. So much to do around Fredericksburg. The hotel is very clean. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Good option for our family of 4 with two teenagers. Comfy beds, clean rooms with roomy floor plan and decent breakfast- if they could just keep the coffee stocked!

Wall are a bit thin allowing us to hear loud guests and doors closing in the hallway at night. Staff was great. Area around the hotel seems a bit rundown.

Even as they are in the midst of doing some remodeling and updating, this place was tidy, quiet and run efficiently. I'd definitely stay there again.

Upon arrival staff was welcoming and professional, however the room assigned, (2 queens non suite), wasn't the room we paid for, so back to the front desk we trudged, at the desk we were informed that this was a third party booking thru Expedia and that this was all that was available, unacceptable, requested refund and guess what a king bed suddenly became available however we paid for a king suite, disappointed no refund of overage mentioned or provided as of yet will enquire once settled at home. Lesson learned book directly with hotel. No other issues to mention.

Not all it seems to be
The hotel was in a scratchy shopping plaza and parking is at a distance. Other guest were loud and slamming doors, the building was being remodeled as well. Non of that was disclosed before.

Not exactly as advertised
Really great value. Room was great! The property was in a convenient location. The only thing was there is no restaurant. The description says there is but i was directed to the Mexican restaurant around the corner. When i asked the next day i was told they do usually have “limited provisions” but not like a regular Hyatt hotel and the fryer was down so no provisions. I would stay again even without a restaurant but was definitely disappointed after expecting one.
