Hello anonymous. The room you stayed in can seem tight and travelers these days want the queen beds, seating areas, flat screen tvs, air conditioning, luggage racks, dressers, private en suite bath, and etc... etc... So as hosts when we try to turn a bedroom into a hotel room things get tight. If the amnesties were not there we get complaints about that, a catch 22. The traffic noise I believe I am going to try interior Plexiglas inserts and see how that works. Glad you enjoyed your stay and sorry you were disappointed in your room. Thanks for the feedback.

Hello Annette. Many thanks for the many kind words and as travel magazines have rated us in the top destinations in NL we are glad you feel the same. We love to cook and being raised and from NL it provides the opportunity to access fresh local seafood from the fisherman we have made friends with over the years. We also very glad you are appreciative of our extensive knowledge of the Baccalieu trail and the island as a whole. Have a great vacation and hope to see gain sometime.

Very glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your comments regarding our efforts to maintain the historic significance. Both our queen rooms have large en-suite bathrooms in the rooms and the extra space sure helps make your stay comfortable. Yes Brigus as is the entire Baccalieu experience quite beautiful, glad you visited please come back again. Lorraine and I spent our entire lives in Newfoundland and to us it is a treasure.

Hello and thank you for staying with us. Glad the fan worked for you on one of the 4 days we get each year over 25, lol. Many guests comment on the delicious full menu breakfast we provide and of course pancakes being the top of the list.
