This place is run by a group of adolescent boys. They actually do a decent job, but the owners don't trust them to make change (they apparently don't even have petty cash on hand to make change for a water bottle). They cannot issue you with a receipt for anything either. You do wonder about a place that doesn't trust its own employees. Anyway, the problem is with the managers...we slent a night on one of their houseboats. In sum, the hotel is clean and ok for a night but the houseboat should be avoided at all costs. We couldn't see it before booking and that was a big mistake. In addition to being in disrepair it didn't really go anywhere...we were taken out on the lake, but you don't see anything there. Then we were taken to a 'village' which looked suspiciously like a cluster of shops selling overpriced trinkets and shawls. Then the boat docked in the evening directly across from the dock where we had been picked up earlier in the day. To call it a 'tour' would be generous. The final straw was the following day when the hotel arranged a rickshaw for us, and the driver tripled the price.
