Outstanding
A lovely 4 star guest house with beautiful views from our balcony of Knysna Heads/the sea. Crista is the most amazing hostess. Our Land Rover Defender with roof rack was too tall for the garage so she arranged for secure parking just down the road at a friend's place. As we then did not have a car, she offered to drive us to a restaurant and pick us up later. I was not feeling brilliant so she recommended a restaurant that would deliver, 34 degrees South. The food was great and she arrived with plates, cutlery etc as it arrived and we ate out on our balcony looking out at the lovely view. She could not have been more helpful and we really appreciated it. A lovely place to stay and a great location but it is the hospitality and service which we will remember.

Our favourite guesthouse
South villa guest house is a delightful guest house within walking distance of many restaurants. Ronnie and Thelma the hosts could not be more helpful. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed two nights at the South Villa guest house, and wish we could have stayed longer. Ronnie and Thelma, the hosts were very engaging, affable and informative. Ronnie gave us some excellent recommendations for local restaurants and great places to go for a sundowner. Thelma and Ronnie were also available every morning for advice and ideas of where to go and what to see around the beautiful Knysna area. Our room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the location excellent - the Waterfront and the town are within easy walking distance, approx 15 mins I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A very memorable and beautiful place to stay with wonderfully caring hosts.

Beautiful location, amazing views from the room, very personal touch from the hosts and a very very comfortable stay. Choice of breakfast on the communal balcony or your own private balcony. Decor is clean and bright and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful

Amazing B&B
We arrived here early and although we couldn't check in we were made fresh coffee and sherry while we waited by the lovely staff. The room was lovely and had a lovely view looking out across the ocean. Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend!

I own and rent 2 properties in the United States and, because of the volume of my 5-star ratings, am considered a "super-host". I pride myself in my properties and in my management of them. I understand what it takes to provide quality accommodations. What I experienced at South Villa Guesthouse put me in awe...both in the amenities and in the hospitality! The hosting could not have been more gracious and welcoming, and the facility was pristine and beautifully decorated. The breakfast we were served overlooking the town was, in itself, memorable. I can not give the entire experience a higher commendation and recommendation.

The room and the property were absolutely clean and beautiful. Breakfast on the dining balcony was superb and the view overlooking the Knysna Heads was fantastic. Ronnie and Marina provided five star service throughout. Very highly recommended.

Gut und modernes Gästehaus mit Geräuschkulisse
Zimmer waren sauber und gut eingerichtete. Die Vermieter haben sic sehr gekümmert. Leider musste man viele Treppen steigen. Vor allem störend war der Fahrzeuglärm der nahegelegenen N2.

Wir wurden super nett empfangen und das Gepäck wurde in unser Zimmer getragen! Der Blick auf die Knysna Heads ist echt super. Das Frühstück war perfekt und das Zimmer sehr schick und sauber (mit Balkon).

Entlang der Garden Route...
Wir haben auf unserer Reise entlang der Garden-Route eine Nacht im South Villa Guesthouse verbracht. Der Empfang durch unsere Gastgeber war überaus herzlich und zuvorkommend. So wurde z.B. unser Gepäck direkt vom Auto in unser Zimmer gebracht, während wir mit einem Willkommensgetränk verwöhnt wurden. Unser Zimmer - mit eigener Veranda - war relativ klein, aber absolut zweckmäßig und bequem eingerichtet.

Personligt, lugnt och vacker utsikt!
Ett litet, charmigt familjeägt guesthouse med fantastisk utsikt! Detta lilla guesthouse har fyra rum, vacker inredning och är mycket personligt. Inga problem att parkera din bil, då varje rum har en plats.Frukosten var toppen (och du fyller i en beställningssedel där du kryssar för det du önskar till frukost) South Villa Guesthouse ligger ca 20 min promenad från Knysna waterfront. Taxi dit eller tillbaka kostar ca 60-70 zar. Rekommenderas absolut!

Simply the best
This guest house was outstanding because of its attention to detail. The room was beautiful with a chocolate on each pillow. The breakfast, which was cooked fresh, was simply outstanding with all food kept covered until it was placed in front of you. The service by the staff was exemplary. Even though there were steps up to the property, our luggage was carried both up and down for us. We couldn't have asked for more. If you're in this area please don't miss the opportunity to stay here.
