Nothing like advertised on Expedia. The lobby smelled, Room was outdated and deteriorated. Bathroom was beyond small no water pressure what so ever and the door was busted. The room was serviceable at best cigarette burn holes in towels and bedding. Heat and air unit was beyond nasty looking and barely in place

I wanted a nine smoking room the room that I had it was supposed to be a None smoking room but it smelled straight like cigarettes both in my 4-year-old son we have severe asthma so that was already a red flag the room cleanliness I had to clean the toilet myself because it was not properly cleaned and it did not look like anything in the photos very very deceiving and the photos it shows like a jacuzzi tub and a few other things none of that is true

Checked out after 1 night
Leaking showers, broken knobs, dirty towels, ripped sheets, cigarette holes in the bedding, non-smoking room that reeked of cigarettes and exhaust, air conditioning broken...the list goes on. I felt very deceived by the pictures of this place and the management argued about a refund for the remaining nights. We stayed one night: we were happy to pay for one night, but there was NO WAY we were continuing our stay...especially for the cost we payed for gameday weekend! Our 2nd hotel charged $40 more a night and was immaculate! Never again!

Hotels.com Should have Warned About Deposit
We've stayed at this location many times over the years and never had an issue. I got a great deal on Hotels.com which included prepaying for the room. Upon check in, we were hit with an unexpected $60 deposit that had to be paid in full. Then at check out, the desk clerk had to come inspect our room before issuing a refund of the deposit. This property accepts pets, so the deposit was reasonable, our problem was that we weren't expecting it but had prepaid so we had no choice but to accept it. I blame Hotels.com for this. The deposit should have been mentioned on the website. We will not return to this location as the surly staff left a bad taste. Pity, the room was clean and comfortable.

Stay Away
The room smelled bad. My family and I are sensitive to mold and my wife and I were having a number of symptoms after just 15 minutes of being in there. Of course we got out immediately and just had to eat the cost of the first night. Stay away from this place unless you are looking for trouble.

Our room smelled terrible and had black mold behind the toilet. We bought some air fresheners for the room but it didnt help. Woke up next morning and noticed light shining through the bottom of the door - guessing water comes in through that when it rains so we suspect the bad smell of the room was from mold and/or mildew. Requested a different room and got one within a couple hours because they had to clean it) and it was much better. The front desk guy (Sam?) was very helpful but they are clearly understaffed.

We were out in smoking room when we had asked for non. It was a hassle but we were changed. The AC was so loud they had to replace the next day. That guy was very nice.

Overall a good spot to stay.
The room had some minor issues, sink faucet worked but is broken. Shower curtain rod is broken but still did it’s job. Continuous gnat problem. The mattress cover was dirty but the sheets and such were clean. Blanket had old cigarette burns. Honestly, it was a decent stay. Large room, comfortable bed, quiet considering it’s location, clean, great TV channel selection.

Difficult check in, a surprise deposit. Put us on second floor with no elevator, we are both in our late 70’s. Asked for ground floor but claimed they were all booked, although only about 10 cars in parking lot. Air conditioner not working properly and noisy. Shower not working with low water pressure. Refrigerator not working properly. When called front desk got no answer. Decided to stay just one night due to uncomfortable conditions but had already charged my card and would not refund. Said I would have to call Expedia

We enjoyed staying, it was nice and roomy, and we slept well and stayed an extra day. Only issue was crickets and a spider, but seeing so many dead ones outside it seems they are working to control them. Would be nice if there was a little more variety for breakfast.

Not worth it
We were charged a $60 deposit and was told it was refundable. The guy at the front desk didn't want me reading the paper he handed me, so I wrote on it refundable deposit. He did not like that. There was no damage to the room and they still haven't refunded it. It was 104° that day and my air conditioner went out, that's why we booked there. The room's air conditioner wasn't on and the room was excessively hot, it took hours to cool it down. The hotel is in a convenient location but I wouldn't stay there again. Not with the attitude of the front desk and how we were treated.

The hotel was fine for what I was looking for and the price. Everything was clean and felt safe. If you're expecting a breakfast, you will be disappointed. However, overall, the hotel was okay! I would stay again if passing through.

We were not given any information upon check-in, just one key card. Had to request coffee, cups, toilet paper every day. "Continental breakfast" consisted of several overripe bananas, a few Honeybuns, and dispensers with raisin bran and frosted flakes. This included the weekend and from 6am to 9:30am. The bathroom door had obviously been kicked in, and the repairs were amateurish. I would guess the managers are skimping and/or skimming.

Nothing good about it
This place was dirty, dingy, full of bugs and refused to refund us when we checked out after one night of a prepaid stay. They were also unable to provide us with the ground floor room we requested. This is the worst place I have stayed in decades.

There were a lot of problems. There was a slimy spot on the carpet. The walls were too thin and there was a lot of noise next door. The TV didn't work. The internet server didn't work. My son's room had the sink not hooked up to the drain. The coffee machine was less than adequate. Almost no breakfast in the cafe.

The shower had no pressure. Impossible to get clean in it. The bed sheets were torn. The air conditioner sounded like a lawn mower. My door wouldn’t lock. The property is run down. I would not stay there again and I don’t recommend anyone else stay there either.

After arriving after 2 to check in room was not ready, went back an hour later and check in, room still not ready, man cart outside door, had to wait 15 more minutes to check in, Refrigerator did not work and had no control to adjust the setting for it. Breakfast next morning was cereal and prepackaged pastry, nothing else, did have milk and juice

First, when I arrived I booked a non smoking room with double beds and I was given a smoking room that smelled like an ash tray. I was then put in a king sized non smoking that still smelled slightly of smoke and mold. The bathtub was old and dirty looking and the shower bar was coming out of the wall. I didn’t even stay. I cut my losses and left to stay somewhere else. The front desk staff also let me know about someone else’s booking because we had the same last name.

It was nasty and smelled like an ashtray even though we had a non-smoking room. It was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. We all woke up sick from the smoke smell and didn’t even shower there because it was so nasty. I had to wash everything we brought because it all smelled just from being in the room. Nothing against Expedia at all, but I would not recommend this Travel Lodge to anyone.

The deposit I was required to make for the room for the night was stolen from me by the property. When I contacted the hotel on Jan. 5 I was made to call back 3 separate times before the property manager informed me I could only get my deposit back by driving all the way back to the property in person and was rude and unwilling to have any discussion about it. I've disputed the charge through my credit card company but want people to be aware of this awful lack of customer service and frankly of robbery of a customer. Will never be back at a facility owned by this company and for sure not this one.

We booked this hotel just to crash after a football game and I knew we would have what we pay for. The property itself is old and looks like is getting upgraded but our door had a huge gap and the cold was drifting in. Good thing it was not windy or we would being having huge waves of cold coming through. The dumpsters where overflowing and we were not able to put trash inside so had to leave it on the sides. The good thing is that is close to the highway, restaurants and stores so is on a convenient location. Staff was great!
