I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay but you were told that one of the room types you selected was not available on the requested ground floor. You apparently then decided that you would take the room on the ground floor and send your sister who had the baby in the room on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately you have not been able to provide the name of who you apparently spoke to after your initial booking that said you could have the two rooms next to each other as all our calls are recorded and we could have investigated.Regardless, although we do try to meet all guests requests re room placement we do not guarantee such, especially when we are at full capacity as we were at the time of your stay.We did run low on beach towels for a 3 day period while we repaired our broken laundry machine but all guests were provided towels and certainly no one ever stated we only provide one towel per person.Our records do show that your room was cleaned each day. Yes it is possible that you were shortchanged a towel during one of the cleans. When this does happen guests generally just phone the Front Desk and we have them delivered to the room immediately.I can not comment on the apparent sarcastic smile of one of our Front Desk. As you will see from the other reviews, the majority of guests feel our customer service and cleaning is excellent.The above said we will take steps to ensure that in the future no one, other than the Reservations Staff deals with guests re room change requests to avoid similar issues..

Thank you for the great review. We chose to switch to Youtube and Streaming as the regular TV service provide on the island was limited and more and more of our guests prefer watching Netflix and Prime, That said we do offer live CNN and Fox.

Thank you for the nice rating. While we do update yearly (new breakfast area and new furniture in half our rooms this past year) we are planning another major renovation this fall, but still hope to retain the low key, old style Caribbean feel that our guests love.

Thank you for both choosing to stay with us as well as sending your feedback. FYI we are aware that sometimes certain rooms only receive luke warm water and the entire system is being updated in April when we slow down.

My apologies re the wifi but we are in the midst of upgrading our system (just completed yesterday) and there was some interuptions during the process, Unfortunately a room sensor set off the alarm two nights in a row, We are not sure why but it has not happened since. Fortunately most of our guests were understanding as the alarm last less than 30 seconds. Again my apologies but outside of our control.

This fall we will be refurbishing the bar and lobby areas.

Thank you for your kind words about our staff. It would be great if we had elevators but most hotels in the Carribeanunder 4 floors don't.To compensate we try and locate guests with issues on teh 1st or 2nd floor and we do provide porter service to carry the bags to the room.
