직원분도 친절했고 위치는 정말 좋았어요. 하지만 전반적인 청결상태는 별로.. 곳곳에 먼지도 많았고 창문 밖에 거미줄, 벌레 등 더러워서 더운데도 창문을 열수가 없었네요. 소음이 심한 에어컨이 있었는데 틀어도 시원하지가 않아서 리셉션에 말했더니 선풍기 주셔서 그나마 견딜만 했어요~

The wifi network keeps breaking. Body towels were not supplied adequately. I do not recommend this hotel.

2 star hotel with 4 star branding
awful experience, dont know how they claim they have 4 stars... the hotel is really old and not in good shape, the shower is really really small, could bearly fit and it was broken for 2 days and the solution for the smart ppl at reception was to offer a smaller room or go take a shower at the hotel next door!! IT HAS NO AC!!! don´t know how the pull the star rating again with this one. wished I hadnt booked, overall awful experience but couldnt move out since i had a non refundable rate

Hotel wasn’t bad, just different things to get used to as Americans. The biggest issue was the heat. There is no air conditioning in the hotel and even when it was cool outside, it was still warm inside. We only had one hot day, but difficulty sleeping every night, even when it was only 11-13 degrees Celsius (50-57 Fahrenheit) outside. We opened all of the windows, but it was hard to get a good breeze going. The shower was also very tiny in the smaller bedroom and doors didn’t make a good seal so water got all over the floor. For reference, I’m 5’9 and 150 lbs and every time I bent down my butt would open the doors up. Impossible to shave in there. The height of the shower head wouldn’t be able to accommodate anyone taller than myself and if you were over 200lbs you definitely wouldn’t fit in there. The rooms also had normal locks with keys which I haven’t seen in hotels since I was a child. Other than that we had a good stay. Staff was friendly and helpful and hotel is in a good location. Sites are not far away and there is a subway station right there.

Great location! This hotel was perfect for our visit, with having 2 rooms and the kitchenette. The Indian restaurant at the location was excellent, and lovely dining along the canal. I would absolutely stay here again.

Insgesamt ein schlechter Gesamteindruck. Sehr laute, überhitzte Zimmer, da kein Ventilator oder A/C vorhanden. Die Lichtschalter, Armaturen sind sehr abgegriffen, überall Teppichboden. Im zweiten Zimmer nicht mal eine Deckenlampe vorhanden. Am Abreisetag gab es kein Wasser aus den Leitungen, um sich zu duschen, da der Druck nach Angaben der Rezeption zu gering sei. Man hatte die Möglichkeit im genüberliegendem Hotel im Saunabereich zu duschen, wo die Gäste dann tatsächlich Schlange standen. Geht gar nicht!

Bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, ein Zimmer der Familiensuite war hell und zum Kanal gelegen, sehr schön, das andere aber ein dunkles Loch mit Fenster zu einem Schacht. Naja. Service war nett und zugewandt, aber den Rest muss man nicht nochmal haben.

SOMEONE STOLE MY BACKPAG
BE CAREFUL - THEY STORE YOUR LUGGAGE IN A PUBLIC PLACE AND EVERYONE WOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE IT - SOMEONE STOLE MY BACKPACK. When I was going to check-out, I left three objects so I can pick them later, as I wanted to visit Berlin. Some hours later, I come back asking for my luggage and my backpag containing my pc and headphones had disappeared. The hotel representative called her colleague and it seems they have stored the luggage in a bar in the entrance which they never use but someone could grab the things from there. The police came and they took note. When you leave the luggage they give you a paper with a number and they keep another paper with the same number to make sure you are the owner. Their piece of paper assigned to my back appeared next to the exit. Old rooms, no A/C, heating is also not the best, they do not inform you that in order to turn on the lights you need to activate one specific button, shower with too much pressure and finally, I may have been assigned to the most noisy room of the hotel. Finally, breakfast is completely not worth it for that price - and it can get difficult to get a seat. I have left things in a table and the waitress gave the table to another man forcinh me to go to a corner table which was not comfortable. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE AND I AM USED TO TRAVELLING. The intern handling the situation, Jonathan Dreier, did a good job. Meanwhiles, the management took some says to contact me.

Das Hotel hat den alten scharm erhalten, das gefällt mir. Die Zimmer sind ok, aber das Bad braucht eine Überholung. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit, Frühstück war auch gut.

Sauber, ruhige Lage, nettes Personal, direkt an der U-Bahn. Der Standort war für mich perfekt: während der Berlinale quasi genau zwischen allen wichtigen Kinos.Frühstücken war ich nur ein mal (ist nicht so mein Ding), aber das war in Ordnung.

Amazing stay
This hotel is the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in, the bed and bedding was first class, everything you needed apart from your clothes. friendly staff, attentive, Only let down was the price and choice of breakfast, typical continental, no pastries though.

We enjoyed our stay a Living Hotel Berlin Mitte very much. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. The hotel is across the street from a metro station and within easy walking distance of restaurants and museums. The staff was helpful and even left us a St. Nicholas Day gift. Would definitely stay here agin!
