The hotel was clean conviemt to ice arena we were there for a hockey tournament. Lots of donning and shopping. The only negative was the tx remote didn’t work. Would stay there again

The staff was great the hotel needs a lot of work. We thought they were queen beds but they are definitely full beds. The pictures and website say hot tub but it is filled in my cement. I would say the cleaning crew needs to clean a little better in the rooms. We kept our shoes on because the carpet was gross. Our air conditioner was noisy and blue right on the bed..

Kind of a disappointment
The room layout was great. The room was clean but there were some maintenance issues like mold in the bathroom, shampoo holder was off the tub wall. The pool area needed updating and cleaning. The breakfast was wonderful.

Dirty rugs stained furniture marks on wall chipping in sink old wood furniture. Not sure how this was getting superb reviews.

A Comfortable Night
We stayed one night to break our drive. Our room was clean, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast attendant was cordial and we enjoyed the selections. Unfortunately the pool was damaged by children, hence closed during our stay. We would book again.

Would highly recommend this hotel, staff was very accommodating and understanding especially because my husband and I were not feeling well. We really appreciate the staff working with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was great! The machines worked at the fitness center. The laundry worked as well. Room was spacious and comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!

The property and staff were nice. We loved our room and breakfast was okay. Had a baseball group of teenagers and they were very rude and inconsiderate. Was being very roudy and caused the pool shut down. My children were so upset because we booked this hotel for the pool.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean, could use a little updating. We were only there for a quick overnight stay. Staff from the front desk to the housekeepers were very friendly and greeted us cheerfully. Will stay here again.

Frigid problem
When we arrived at the Marriot Springhill Suites around 6pm, June 2, I entered the lobby to find the front desk unmanned. After waiting a minute or so, I saw a guy, who I thought by his dress was a vacationer joining my wait for a desk clerk, come through the door from outside. His shirt looked like a colorful T-shirt or beach shirt. Instead, he greeted me asking if he could help me and he walked behind the counter and began pecking on a keyboard. I was stunned he was a representative of a Marriot property in that attire. They lack signage to show the locations of things like the elevator or ice machines. In our room, we discovered the refrigerator door open. The ice in the freezer was so thick it would not allow the door to shut. I informed the desk clerk of the problem. While we were at dinner, the maintenance man apparently removed the door to the freezer, left the thick ice coating in place, and threw the freezer door in the bottom of the refrigerator. The bottles we placed in the freezer did not freeze as we hoped. The sink had sediment deposits caked in it from a dripping sink. Is it too much to expect a Marriot property to provide equipment that functions and is in good repair? Maybe we cannot count on a major brand to deliver an expected quality.

The Suite was kind of cramped x. Also the toilet is for little people. Also the 2nd tv only had 7 channels.
