Bokningsbeskrivning motsvarades inte av vad vi möttes av på hotellet.. Det var vissa klagomål av mindre kaliber men de dök upp hela tiden. Svårt att få gehör hos chefen på stället. Personalen på stället verkade rädda för vad chefen sa. Köket var av varierande kvalitet. Det tog tex. 45 minuter att få kokta/ steka ägg med te och bröd vissa gånger. Visst, vi var lediga men så ska det inte vara.. Vid ankomsten möttes vi av andra personer som bott där och de avrådde oss att ta in på stället.

We had the double superior sea view. The view plus the sound of the waves was fabulous and unforgettable. The room was ok housekeeping poor, breakfast was good and meals served in the restaurant were good and reasonable priced, Beer as in all Kerala was extortionate 250 IR a kingfisher.

Bad experience with hotel. Location of Hotel is good however, there is no person to attend your queries. No lift services, No intercom facility, unless we insist them they will not clean the room during your stay, Nobody will respond to you. its not worth to spend money to stay in this hotel. food quality not good for vegetarians. the facilities as they claim in the websites are all not available. so please careful while booking otherwise your hard earned money will go for unworthy stay.. sorry to say this but its what i have experience during my 3 days stay in this hotel. At least websites (Expedia.co.in) hosting advertisements for these kind of hotels should vouch for their facilities regularly to endorse their products any false claim made by this kind of hotel shall be banned from taking the advances in advance. hope the team expedia.co.in will take necessary steps........

Worst of its Kind and worst as it can be
This is far most the worst experience with the hotel. Pathetic condition, smelly rooms, no service and no customer courtesy, ill mannered staffs. I mean I can go ahead writing but in short never never go this hotel.

Budget hotel
This is an average budget hotel. The location is very good, right on the beach. My room was large with a nice balcony in a quiet area. I opted for a non a/c room to save money, and it was fine. There was a good fan, and the weather was not too hot anyway. The wifi was out the entire three days I was there. The first manager I encountered was rather surly and didn't give much help concerning anything. The second manager I encountered was kind and helpful. They had a hot spot modem that I could use for the internet, but I did not find out until the last day. The first manager did not mention it, even though I had inquired about the wifi numerous times. The season was not in full swing, so even though the location was good, there was not a lot of activity. However, almost all of the restaurants were open, as well as a decent number of shops. I would recommend this place for a good budget hotel. If you get the surly manager, wait until the other one is on duty and you will be taken care of.

Close to the beach but that's about all
This was a good "landing" spot for our first couple of nights. We looked around and found a much nicer hotel with pool, tv and refrigerator in the room for a couple of dollars more.

Bathrooms are dirty and breakfast very bad.
The bathrooms dirty and breakfast is horrible. There was no stool in bathroom to sit. Breakfast is really very bad and hotel staff does not understand the problems of people. For old people the hotel is not suitable at all and has a really problematic road to reach. The hotel is very close to sea but there is no indication on the website about which room is facing sea. Problems of taxi - charging too much and had bad experience of taxi fellow. Instead of going to Raja Ravi Verma art gallery, the taxi took us to local gallery in Trivandrum. Taxi linked to hotel looted us.

Extremely bad experience. No lift. Was given room on fourth floor. No power backup. Telephone doesn't work, door bell doesn't work, television set given but with faulty plugs. Break fast not worth more than Rs. 20. WiFi doesn't work in room. Few sea facing rooms but additional cost. Can't book sea facing room from website. Charges 1/2 day extra rent for even 5 minutes of delay in checkout.Unprofessional staffs. Everything need repair. There are lot of hotels in the area. Keep away from this. Don't compromise with the sea facing room.

1 min walk to the beach
Room: no stands for laggage, no fridge, no garbige bin, bed sheets worn out and were not changed for 7 days. No cook, same breakfast every day. Staff did the very-very best to reimburse all this gaps.

Good place to relax and look
Stayed in the ocean view rooms they were so good to check the surf . I could tell exactly when the wind changed or best tide to surf every second of the day. Rooms were very clean and staff very good. Very happy

Etablissement correct, restauration excellente.
Idéalement placé dans une petite rue très proche de la plage et sans passage donc au calme. L'accès n'est pas facile car les véhicules n'accèdent pas en bord de mer, environ 300 m à faire à pied avec ses valises mais cela vaut pour tous les hôtels. Chambres simples mais très grandes, attention au moment de la résa nous n'avions pas vu qu'il existait une différence entre AC et non AC mais les chambres sont équipées d'un ventilateur au plafond qui fonctionne bien. Nous avions 4 chambres pourtant selon hotels.com avec TV et réfrigérateur, 3 avaient la TV et 1 seule avec réfrigérateur car nous l'avons demandé. A part ça excellent séjour, le restaurant de l'hôtel est probablement le meilleur en 15 jours de road trip en Inde, responsable et cuistot jeunes mais efficaces et très gentils.

Give it a miss!
Was very disappointed with the lack of maintenance of hotel. Great location but unfortunately the poor upkeep made our stay quite daunting.

On arrival it was late 05:20 their time so no chance to check the room until later in the day, there was no introduction to hotel policy/ evacuation, the description of the room on the web page was totally different to the room. Bed linen one sheet over the mattress one and a thin blanket to cover yourself with the pillow cases looked like they had NOT seen a washing machine for a while only cold/tepid water for the shower, I've seen better cupboards at the local tip the sea view go onto the balcony look across three others and you caught a glimpse of the sea, the table and bamboo style chairs were very dirty my balcony could be accessed from the main stairwell so outer door had to be shut and bolted at all times when not there. After 2 days I requested a sea view and was prepared to pay any balance only to be told all rooms booked but people were coming and going on a regular basis, my room was NEVER cleaned or rubbish removed for the entire stay. Beyond the hotel everything was good plenty of bars/restaurants to chose from with fresh fish every night plenty of good beach sun loungers and parasols stick with the same people and they look after you and your stuff if you leave it to for lunch, if your nervous driver/passenger stay at the beach traffic/ drivers are mad and have no road sense but worth seeing beyond your location.

This hotel is not good for family trip. They have mentioned about buffet breakfast but they don't provide buffet breakfast. Even TV is placed in the room but they are not working and even they don't bothered to operate it.

Nur die wenigen Zimmer mit Meerblick sind akzeptabel. Alle anderen haben Aussicht auf Müllhalden und unfertige Gebäude. Frühstücksraum auf dem Hinterhof. Kein TV, kein Kühlschrank. Service (Wäsche / Saubermachen) erfolgte nur jeden 3 Tag ((auf Druck meinerseits) Für das, was das Hotel bietet, ist es im Vergleich zu umliegenden Hotels zu teuer.

Minimalist hotel
This is a minimalist hotel. No fridge or appliances in the room, other than a very old TV. No options were given for breakfast. Just a very salty plain omelet served with cold and soggy white bread. Being on the beach is the only advantage of the hotel, but there are better options nearby. This was my fifth trip to Kovalam in two years. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Blood stained pillows! Skanky.
Been staying in simple, basic hotels in SE Asia for 20 years and my expectations were in line with that. This hotel is dirty as anything and just unhygienic, pure and simple. The bedding hadn't been changed between guests and we had to go straight back to reception on check in and tell them to do it. They actually looked surprised to be asked. Management if you're reading this: it's not acceptable to do this. If we hadn't prepaid we'd have been out of there straight away.

I don't recommend to any other persons.room services were very poor. They did not service a buffet bf which was complimented. Further they refuses to give is a detailed bill for our stay. What kind of arrangement you people tied up with.

女性２人旅で、オフシーズンのビーチ。ホテルは海の目の前でしたが海風で施設の管理状況は悪く、ドアの取っ手も取れてる始末。ついていると書いていた冷蔵庫もなし。カーテンも幅が足りていない。チェックインの愛想も悪く、パスポートを携帯電話で写真撮影。セキュリティーが不安。ベッドはベッドパットが引いていない、汚いシーツの上で寝る。腰がいたくなったし、肌触りも悪かった。ヘアドライヤーの貸し出しもない。また、スタッフが”飲もう”と誘ってきて、はぐらかして部屋に戻ったが、夜９時すぎているのに何度も部屋をノックしてきた。ラフな接客はビーチなので仕方がないが、予約時に約束されていたものがないので、安旅行で気にしない方以外、お勧めしません。これならもっと安宿に宿泊したほうがまだましでした。また、毎日ヨガのレッスンをやっているとホームページに記載がありますがなくてがっかりしました。

Dreadful Hotel that everyone MUST AVOID
We went to the Hotel for our stay and found it to be in an appalling state. The bathroom wasn't fit for any human use. While there seeing the facilities and the room, the electricity went out 3 times. The staff member could not care less for any problems that were present. My partner and I got to a point where without any further talk we picked up our bag and left. Even at the cost of loosing the total booking cost for the 4 days. We did not stay in that Hotel. If you can call that a Hotel. I believe that Expedia should remove this Hotel from their site.

Good Hotel right at Kovalam Beach
Hotel is at good location, once see the Beach from hotel premium rooms balcony. Rooms are specious and clean. My stay at hotel from 12th Apr to 14th Apr was nice and comfortable.

Fabulous Hotel Near to Beech
The hotel was clean. We found it a bit difficult to identity but it is located very close to the beech. Unfortunately we didn't get the sea view room.The hotel manager was very kind and helpful. He helped us by providing some food stall suggestions and we had a wonderful breakfast made in the hotel. Over all i will rate this stay as wonderful.

Absolutely Pathetic. Except the location, there is nothing to write about... Am surprised that Hotels.com is selling such properties. It doesn't deserve to be called a hotel.... much less a resort. Only Fleecing poor tourists. Am very disappointed, to have chosen this property. Uneducated staff, filthy rooms, no service.. not even tea, in rooms.

Hotel rooms wasn't the same, what the pictures looks like. Absolutely different. Staff was ok, they were never really working there. Good location, next to the beach - surrounding nice little beach shops.

An average Hotel in a good location
Location of the hotel is nice and has taken undue advantage of its location. No lift and our room was on the 4th floor, though they offered free wifi, but it was not accessible in the 4th floor. On the first day, they told us that our break fast was complementary, but on the very next day, they declined. Even after waiting for 45 mins in the dinning area we had a break fast that was disappointing at an additional cost of four hundred rupees. In our two nights stay, room was not cleaned a single time. But only positive thing about the hotel and our room was that it was sea facing and the provided a beautiful view from the balcony.
