I have been staying in hotels for over 30 years and this was the first time I ever got sent to a room (#103) already occupied by another guest. The dude on reception followed me up when he realised but not until I tried to get in and the incumbent guest was, understandably, pissed off. I then got told some cobblers about a problem with the booking system before I got put in the disabled guest's room (#311), aka the emergency we messed up room.. I reserved a superior room with queen-size bed, the bed was not queen-size and if the room was what the hotel calls "superior", I'd hate to see a "standard" room. Really small room, bathroom almost the same size as the rest of the room. Overall, less than satisfactory. Breakfast was good though.

素晴らしいホテルです ヒースロー空港から乗り換え無しで行けます 大英博物館、ハイドパーク、ウエストエンドなど徒歩圏内に観光名所が多数 クラシカルな雰囲気と部屋にバスタブがあるのもgood!

Very nice hotel. I recommend you go for bigger room. The superior queen is very tiny. We ended up upgrading. Bigger room is worth it.

Service was fantastic. Location phenomenal. Elevators are quick. Love the English breakfast. Bathrooms are a bit small but it was fine as I was traveling solo. Definitely at the nicer side of a 4-star hotel

Very pleased with my room and modern feel of the hotel. Room and public spaces were clean. Decor is very nice. Food in restaurant, while not inexpensive, was very good. Area is excellent. Close to tube stations, Oxford Street and Marylebone neighborhood is lovely. Only complaints were about the staff. While they were friendly, most seemed to either not understand what I said or were simply unable to articulate themselves clearly. Perhaps they were new or English isn’t their first language. Finally, I came back to my room one afternoon to find a strong odor of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. As a former smoker, there is no doubt in my mind someone had a cigarette in the bathroom in my absence. The staff blamed it on the vents, but that doesn’t make sense since it is a non-smoking property. I did not want to change rooms, so front desk sent someone up with deodorizer. That did the trick, but I was still unhappy with the fact someone had a smoke in my bathroom! Aside from that unusual event, I would recommend the hotel. Just double check they won’t be refurbishing the hotel during your stay.

Clean. Excellent restaurant service. Excellent concierge service. Water was not restocked and the house staff was reluctant to give extra water despite having a beverage credit. Perhaps a one off incident.

Staff and facility was great. Location was convenient for shopping, sight seeing, and going to shows! Tram and bus stations within walking distance.

Service makes it great.
Just a brief stay for business but again and again I’m reminded that it’s the staff who turn a good hotel into a great one. Making check-in easy, recognising that we had stayed before, upgrade to a gorgeous room (small but exquisite design) and the simplicity and ease of getting in there makes this a favourite hotel in london.

I didn't get a room update as a VIP. My room was very small, two people could barely pass next to each other. However, first; the concierge was so nice, and the reception was also nice. Most importantly the location of the hotel is fantastic.

The friendliest and most accommodating of staff who helped with even the most unique requests (a new hole in a belt, kindly accomplished by a member of the maintenance team). The room was exquisite and clean, the bar had a special ambience and delectable food and cocktails. I could not sing higher praises of this hotel and it’s staff.

Super attentive staff
This is our second stay here and once again we were pleased. The staff were friendly, helpful and went the extra mile. Great location for shopping and eating. Safe location.

The staff - especially the concierge staff - were fabulous. The staff in the bar also deserve a special mention. We had a lovely room on the corner of the building with 2 windows.

Excellent location
The location is excellent, very central and less than a 2 min walk from Oxford Street. A lot of restaurant options nearby. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay! I declined the room upgrade as it was only to be available the next day and my room was just fine! Fantastic hotel and staff. Amazing area of London, and close to everything. I’ll be back!
