It's a cheap hotel and near to BTS station. There is a convenience store near to the hotel. The location is good. However, you had better not expect good service or amenity. It's good for a single stay, but not more.

日本語スタッフに会えなかった。トイレ一体型のシャワーには驚いた。(便器と同じ床) でも、スタッフの対応はよく、立地条件が良くて快適でした。

Good location, 7 min away from BTS station. Excellent and friendly service, very attentive front desk .The manager even there to greet and welcome customers. A very pleasant experience.

Главное преимущество отеля - его локация в самом центре города. Сам отельне новый, но персонал хороший и старается делать свою работу на отлично. К сожалению, по запросу в отеле не нашлось утюга. Завтрак мог бы быть более разнообразным.

This is secound time here
Staffs are nice and polite. Room is good but I'm actually like build-in closet. Location is very perfect if you have to go to embassy in morning. Anyway I will give 9.5 out of 10. Thanks.

Close to Embassy District
Staff not particularly helpful. Asked for a kettle for the room and told they had none. Later on, asked the evening receptionist, and he produced one for us immediately. (Thank you) Why would any Hotel not put a kettle in a room so that guests can make a cup of coffee? The room was spacious but basic. Good fridge, hopeless 1950’s TV which worked intermittently because of loose wiring on the plug socket, decent bed. Bathroom and shower functional. Water leaking from a hose when we first entered the room and had to call maintenance. Good location for most Embassy’s. Would I stay there again? Only if nothing else was available in the same area.

Walking Distance to US Embassy
The price (THB 1,350) and location (walking distance from the US Embassy) were amazing. Everything else was very nice for the price I paid.

Wrote a nice review. Hotels.com deleted my narrative while I looked aty pictures. Summary: Staff was friendly and attentive, the room really sucked. I think I could walk Down the street and get a better room for half the 1100฿ I paid after taxes. Black growing on the walls in the bathroom. Small room, small bathroom, balcony one person can stand or sit on ac compressor and look at bigger balconies accross the alley. I could nitpick every detail of the room. Not 1 thing good enough for a room above 500฿.

Hotel is 12 to 18 min from Sukhumvite Rd.
on my first stay I was a reasonable room given for the price I paid. A few weeks ,later on my second stay I was anoid and felt the room was not habitable. In one corner of the room the wall lining was hanging loose, flopping down, the TV was not working, the Aircon had only one speed, cold and there was not one power-point to recharge the phone ...Room 505. My complaint was simply laughed off with a shrug of the shoulder (did you book on Internet )?? Anyhow they could not fix the TV and I was shifted to room 504 a tad better but I decided never again to stay at Jims Lodge.

การเดินทางไปโรงแรมสะดวก ลง BTS แล้วนั่งมอเตอร์ไซด์ 10 บาท หรือเดินประมาณ 15 นาทีถึง ในซอยมีแสงสว่างเพียงพอและปลอดภัย พนักงานต้อนรับดำเนินการจองห้องให้รวดเร็วและให้บริการตอบคำถามและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกดีมาก

Good location/pri but bad internet & needs refurb
The big plus of this hotel is its proximity to US Embassy (and other embassies) and is within walking distance of some very good restaurants and walking distance of BTS Skytrain. However, the hotel desperately needs updating (carpets are bedraggled, furniture old, etc.), There is an odd configuration of floors with elevator stops - the elevator stops on a landing between floors, including from the lobby area, so getting heavy baggage to/from rooms becomes a hassle (although the hotel staff is helpful in this regard). The biggest drawback for me was the awful wifi internet connection in the rooms. The only reliable wifi connection is in the hotel lobby (if you would like to spend your time hanging out there). The hotel staff was quite clear that the only good place for wifi is in the lobby, they didn't pretend otherwise.

Very close to US Embassy!
An old hotel, but clean, comfortable and a great location if you need to visit the US Embassy. Street food and a 7-11 close by. Would stay again.

Probably the best place to stay if you are visiting the US embassy in Thailand. Its cheap, has free wifi, and is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the embassy. Not the fanciest place but at least you get your moneys worth. Not a bad place overall; Like I said, if you need a place to stay while waiting to visit the US embassy, you really can't get better.

The location is about 5 mins walk to All Seasons Place which has cafes, restaurants and Tops Supermarket. The room I was in was fully carpeted and looks a little dated. For those who are concerned about dust may wish to request for a non carpeted room. The toilet was clean and water pressure for the shower strong.

Vänlig personal, lugnt tyst trivsamt rum, närhet till allt, städning i topp, stället är ingen lyx men mycket bra till priset man betalar. Har bott där två gånger nu och kommer bo där även i framtiden.

3* hotel near US embassy
not worth 1300 THB, but they can take the money because they are the only 3* hotel near the embassy. It's worth 800 THB. Some minor investments and the hotel could get a better evaluation in the future. Breakfast is a typical "Thai-ABF" but enough for the first few hours to survive.
