設備不良が多い。 深夜温水器の為、バスタブを使うとシャワーが水になってしまう。 ゴミの捨て忘れ。家具の扉が壊れている。時計が壊れている。ドアノブの壊れ。クレッセントの壊れ、パラソルの壊れ、椅子の壊れ。レンタバイク壊れて使えない。メンテナンスが、行われていない為、立地は良いが、使い辛い。

The bikes were not rental, but were free. Due to damage done over the holiday period we have taken them out of service. I know the bikes upset you. We should have suggested that you hire bikes . In New Zealand hot water is normally supplied by a hot water cylinder. The cylinder in The Lake house is sufficient unless you fill the spa bath. We could have explained this to you if you mentioned it. As you can see we get high ratings overall, and are disappointed that we did not meet your expectations

This was a great place to stay, just outside the town, which was a short easy drive to get to. We only had one night here, but could have stayed longer. The washing machine and dryer was all free and they also provided powder, although we had brought our own with us. When we were there the plums on the tree had just ripened and we were allowed to take some, which was really nice. Close to Huka Falls and Aratiiatia Rapids, that releases water a few times a day and a real must to see. Also close by is Otumuheke stream, which is a free hot pool in the river, absolutely brilliant.

Cozy room with tiny shower
Great location for a lake walk to admire the sunset. Cozy clean room but with a tiny shower. Welcoming host.

We service rooms on request. Housekeeping or reception would have been happy to provide new towels or anything else required. Most guests have changed to want minimum entry into their room by motel staff. Sorry if this did not suit you

Our dogs adore this place, as do we!!!
Always our preferred place to stay in Taupo. It’s like a home away from home - for us and our two wee dogs!

Access to a spa in the case of bad weather. Very friendly staff, nothing is ever a bother for them :-) I LOVED the lake house, the view over the lake, and the restaurant just accross the street. There is a trampoline for kids too

We are a retired couple from Australia visiting NZ for the first time. We had booked this accommodation before leaving home, so hoped we had done our research well enough. We were not disappointed! Although about 3 km from the centre of town, it’s location is still very good; just a short stroll from the lake front and its wonderful path. And just a 5 minute drive if you wanted to visit the busy part of town. Our room was basic, but very well maintained with very convenient features such as a very good bed, good Wi-Fi, Sky TV, a well-equipped kitchenette and so on. Everything we needed was there. Would happily stay there again.

Right next to tbe beautiful beach walkway. Great sunsets, boat club with restaurant on the water the motel room was great snd comfortable, stuff were great too.

The unit was not cleaned properly, I found someone's old toothbrush and comb in the unit. There was a broken cupboard. I liked how there was a hot-tub. The people at reception were very friendly and helpful :)

As the new owner.. I take over this motel tomorrow..July 21st..I can assure you that cleaning and hygene will be a top priority from then onwards..we have new cleaners starting on 21st July..while it's no excuse, the motel has been very busy with school holidays..
