Dear Anonymous,we have never pretended to be younger - how could we, being the hotel an early 20th century building!The description on our and other sites corresponds perfectly to what we are which is what you and all guests get.What is "very old" to you, is exactly what many guestsfrom all over the world year after year describe as true typical Venetian style.This is your opinion and we respect it as such. Buongiorno, sono il direttore dell'hotel "strategico" e La ringrazio per aver impegnato un pò del Suo tempo per la valutazione del nostro hotel. Come tutti gli hotel di questo mondo, non laviamo la biancheria, che ci viene data pulita da una ditta collaudata. Purtroppo molti bagnanti, dato che il Lido è famoso anche per la sua spiaggia, abusano di creme solari, che lasciano delle macchie indelebili sulle lenzuola. Ogni tanto, in periodi di grande affluenza di pubblico cole la Mostra del Cinema, soprattutto quando, come nel Suo caso, il cliente soggiorna solo una notte, può succedere che un lenzuolo sia macchiato, e non si riesca a reagire tempestivamente.Nonostante esso sia igienicamente garantito, capisco che ciò non sia gradevole e di questo sono molto dispiaciuto.Per quanto riguarda la colazione, de gustibus non disputandum est, ma non condivido assolutamente che essa sia scarsa nella scelta. Oltre alle uova strapazzate, bacon e salsicce, ci sono almeno 3 verdure cotte e non, torta salata, 3 tipi di formaggio, 3 tipi di affettato, 3 succhi, cereali, 4 tipi di croissant: marmellata, vuoti, cioccolato, crema, torta dolce, biscotti, fette biscottate, marmellate di ogni tipo e miele, yoghurt, latte, macedonia di frutta fresca fatta ognigiorno e per finire ogni tipo di bevanda calda. Le luci al neon fanno pensare a qualcosa di diverso dalla realtà. Ci sono due grandi lampade in vetro di Murano, al cui interno sono fissati dei tubi al neon, e 4 lampade a parete, sempre in vetro di Murano. Per quanto riguarda la vetrata immensa, non ho capito se guardare il piazzale e la laguna attraverso essa, costituisca un difetto, oppure no. Può piacere oppure no, ma mi permetta di non condividere la Sua descrizione. Grazie invece per l'apprezzamento del mio personale. Almeno quello!Piero Padoan - Direttore. . .
