A night in Swansboro, NC
All checked in and getting settled in. We turned TV on and it was on a Latino channel (we thought). Switching to other channels and all were speaking in Spanish. Could find no way to switch language to English. Off to the front desk and the lady informed me there was no one available to 'fix' the problem. She switched us to a different room where the TV was speaking English. My thanks to the lady who helped us. Later as I was preparing to bathe, the shower mechanism was new to me and it took a while before I could figure it out. Maybe that was just me. But I did finally get it to work. The following morning, my spouse and I decided to try the free breakfast. A fairly good selection was offered, but no eggs. I attempted to get pancakes from a fully automatic pancake making machine. As luck would have it, the display popped up a 'device overheating message'. I went to front desk and the man who investigated advised me that he had to contact the manufacturer and it was necessary for that company to send out a technician. Sorry, no pancakes that morning. I really understand these kinds of things happened but all in all the motel provided a comfortable nights rest, which is the primary reason we stayed there. So, yes, I probably would stay there again.

This is a hotel with basic set up of bed(s) & bath. However, this hotel had added features of microwave and mini fridge. The floors were hard surface- no carpet… Loved that! Also offered nice continental type breakfast with variety. Room was basic but clean, same with pool. Staff was friendly and helpful; especially Karrie!! GREAT weekend getaway for me & my husband!!!

The room was dated but clean. I would have given an Excellent but although I received service in the room each day, I never received any additional coffee packs and there was no shampoo in the room. I have never stayed where I had to go buy shampoo when I checked in or where the room was stocked with coffee when needed. I did go to the front desk and ask for coffee but shouldn't have to do that. All and all, I would stay again.

Days Inn is terrible don’t stay there
The room was disgusting, filthy. Other guests were loud, filthy emptying trash outside their rooms, predominantly cigarettes, beer cans all over the walk way. There was a bloody Kleenex that was on the desk in the room, that despite mentioning it to staff stayed there. The bathroom smelled like mold constantly. I want a refund. The hotel shouldn’t be on this website if you want people to take it seriously.
That stayed there until I removed it.
One picture showing mold in bathroom it was everywhere.

Small. Simple, dated but clean. Our overnight was quiet and safe. Front desk persons were kind and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was missing many items, as we were told “the truck comes tomorrow.” Price totaled around $150, which seemed fair for proximity to island and vacation high season.

Easy stay for Emerald Isle events
We did the Bbike the Beach ride on Emerald Isle and stayed here the night before the event. Easy drive out to the event start in Ocean Drive. Large room was great for bringing our bikes in overnight.

The cost ($25) for having a pet was over twice the average on our two week trip. Expedia needs to provide more information up front on total costs and what to expect for accomadations with pets. Simply stating "Pet friendly" doesn't cut it!

The staff was very nice. Our room was clean and we had plenty of towels. My only complaint would be the shower. The shower head wasn’t good but overall we had a very pleasant stay😊

The property was good and not around any other hotels but there wasn’t an elevator. But we managed. There wasn’t a too far of a drive to the beaches. The reason we stayed there was because it was close to my boyfriend’s buddies’ houses.

The staff was polite, rooms clean, beds comfortable. Hard to sleep due to people above us stomping and making noise all night every night for three nights, party on balcony. Called desk, said they gave a courtesy call to the rooms above and noise continued.

Perfect for what we needed, only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer if needed. Front desk staff was awesome, friendly & helpful, and rooms were clean and comfy. Budget friendly place so not all the amenities available, but we don’t require much and were very pleased with our stay. A decent option if you’re planning on going to the beach, even though it’s not located on Emerald Isle and plenty of food and grocery options very close by.
