Another excellent visit with good service.Dinner menu could include a few more choices but breakfast was very good.Theres work going on outside but it’s not intrusive and it will improve more features at the hotel

Always a pleasure to stay here.Pretty well everything about the hotel is good.A bit of construction going on but hardly noticeable.Food is good and staff very helpful and friendly although a bit more training could be a smart idea.All in all another wonderful visit.

Fabulous location, beautiful, clean room. Food was very good, breakfast, dinner and tea. Food service was slow at afternoon tea, good at breakfast and dinner time. Spa service with Emma was fantastic. Construction work in entry foyer while we were there, but alas, it has to be done sometime.

A lovely hotel with beautiful views. A comfy bed. Breakfast was nice however very slow service when ordering the hot food and bowls, plates not available on 1 occasion. Need more staff for a better service. Water wasn't hot in the evening just luke warm which wasn't great when you want a hot shower or bath after being out all day

The property was situated in a beautiful place.overlooking the sea perfect.All the staff were friendly and polite.the spa treatment was fantastic Emma was amazing 👍 we enjoyed our stay souch we will be booking to stay again in the near future.

Stayed for one night only on our way home from a visit to the far west, it was so lovely and luxurious. Would have loved to stay longer, thank you!

What a spectacular location !!!!
Nice stay for 3 nights, building itself might not be 100% top class, but room, service, breakfast and restaurant as well as public areas were really great. And this spectacular location certainly makes up for anything you might be missing (not sure what this could be though).

Really nice location with amazing views. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Ideally located for coastal walks. Some renovations/decorating taking place during our stay which we were unaware of at time of booking, would be good to flag this in advance. However a very relaxing and enjoyable break and we would definitely consider staying again in the future

Lovely hotel, wonderful stay.
Lovely hotel, six wonderful days. So much to see in the surrounding area, well positioned, lovely views. Only downside was the indoor pool. Too cold and too small. Went deep very quickly. But overall 9/10.

One married couple & a dog named Max.
Stayed one night in a sea view room... good sized room with comfortable bed, bathroom with bath and shower with toiletries provided. Had an excellent afternoon tea with prosecco, evening meal and breakfast... food was great, well presented and tasty. Hotel is dog friendly and a doggy bag was provided containing bowls for food/water , a blanket and a packet of treats.... staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We found the majority of items on the drinks/food menus to be very good value. Excellent stay and would definitely visit again....

We booked a last minute getaway. Hotel and facilities looked good on-line. When we got there we found the hotel was being renovated and scaffolding obscured the view from the window. Unfortunately on the days we were there the workmen were working right outside our room and had a clear view inside - there was no blind in the bathroom! We would have liked to have extended our stay as the food and location were great, but felt there was no privacy so we moved on.

Just what we needed
Beautiful Cornwall, lovely hotel, very tasty breakfasts. Very friendly staff. Noisy deliveries at 6.30am will book a sea view room next time to avoid that.

Great hotel which we keep returning to. Staff great, enjoyed the outdoor pool and they have Doombar on draft. Nice live music entertainment on the Sunday we stayed as well. We will definitely return.

Paid for a front facing view and had a window next to the patio area woth umbrellas in the way and people ourside chatting until late. With weddings taking place this needs to be taken into account for people not attending. Amazing place to stay but let down by the non view which we paid for.

A quick break with friends
We stayed in one of the villas which was amazing. Only had breakfast in the hotel which was unfortunately disappointing as eggs overcooked and other ingredients dry and unappetising - maybe just a bad day! Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the Irish girl who served us. Wonderful position.
