The staff were all friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't live up to the high level of the staff.
The elevator was broken, so we had to lug our bags up to the third floor. It was fixed the second day of our stay.
Our room was substandard. The bed was lumpy, uncomfortable, and sagged. The carpet had rips and stains. In the bathroom the toilet paper holder was broken away from the wall. The valve on the tub that controls the shower was frozen open, so half the water came out of the showerhead and half out of the tub faucet. The showerhead was also frozen in place, so it was impossible to adjust it to easily stand underneath the meager water flow. The refrigerator had no temperature control, so the water we put in froze by the morning. The room temperature control was noisy and didn't work well, so the room was either freezing or stuffy and warm. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff kept it well-stocked. There were very few outlets in the room, and no outlets for charging electronic devices. We would not recommend this hotel.
