As a 2 star hotel it was a good experience - the hill rooms have terrible bathrooms but the room is clean. No shower or services at the beach . Good taxi transfers to move from the hotel to the center or wherever you want

Unfortunate when we checked in our room has flies everywhere. We had to wait for the cleaner to come in and remove them. And even then we had to share the next theee nights with flies. They had no spray to kill them. Finding our best covered in flies did not leave us feeling very happy. However, lovely property and location.

This is a wonderful resort and highly recommend it! Staff very helpful to tourist. Beautiful view of beach area that was very close to our room. Free breakfast with chef that made eggs to your taste. Free snorkels to guest. My first time out, I saw a beautiful big turtle over the coral reefs. We stayed 9 days and loved every minute. Prices are affordable for lunch and dinner and outdoor to hear beach waves and night to star gaze at all the constellations ( clarity was fabulous!)

A Great Resort with Wonderful Staff
We stayed at Coral View Resort for 9 nights, and it was one of the best stays we've ever had at any resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant is fairly priced and tastes good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is spectacular. I really can't say enough good things about our stay at Coral View Resort. The location is far away from the main port, so it was fairly isolated, which is what we wanted. The resort was under some renovation during our stay, so there weren't many people there and the beach bar was closed, but that didn't take away from the loveliness of our stay. Aye, the shuttle driver, was extraordinarily accommodating and friendly and was one of the high points of our stay. The beach, which was a 2 minute walk from our bungalow, was absolutely gorgeous, and the water is crystal-clear with plenty of fish to view while snorkeling. There's a resort right next to Coral View, so there was a lot of cross-interaction with the people staying there, which was nice. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Coral View Resort to anyone looking for a great getaway.

Fantastisk lille resort. Blev venligt modtaget i havnen af resortets egen pickup og kørt til resortet. Vi havde ikke bestilt afhentning. Herefter modtaget af meget hjælpsom receptionist og vist hyggelig bungalow. Meget stille og naturskønt beliggende med egen strand. Hyggelig strand cafe/restaurant. Lækker snorkling lige udenfor privat strand med masser af fisk. Tilknyttet resortet er der lille dive shop, hvor vi bookede privat dagstur med lille båd og havde en skøn dag med masser af snorkling. Kan varmt anbefales, dog ikke for gangbesværet.

Lovely resort, will stay there again.
We were picked up at arrival in harbour by the hotel pickup. Very nice and friendly driver as well as the rest of the staff. Very nice resort with lovely privat beach with nice beach bar/restaurant. Used diving shop at hotel for privat boat trip, very friendly ovner of diver shop. Will love to stay there again.

Relaxing vibe.
After a few days on Ko Samui, the coral View resort was a welcome sight. Very relaxed feel, and extremely friendly staff. The room was exactly what we had expected, clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was with some noisy neighbours for one night. Lucky for us they moved to another unit. The vibe at the bar/restaurant was the perfect chill vibe we were looking for, and the food was decently priced and good. The diving wasn’t as good as we hoped for but that was the weathers fault not the resort. Though there are a few suggestions for the scuba shop. That being said it was the relaxed diving we needed not the over crowded vibe of the main town scuba shops boats.

Staying at the Coral view resort was quiet amazing. When you have breakfast, you can enjoy a breathtaking view every morning. beautiful sea and a cozy room.. almost everything will satisfy you wish a perfect holiday. Some facility was a little bit old, but still attractive.

Great snorkelling. Nice restaurant especially Burmese green tea salad and vegetarian options. Nice staff. Rooms a bit dated but comfortable. Good wifi, no television but beautiful views and spacious balcony. Right on beach.

Tolle Location, aber weit und breit nichts! Roller mieten ist auch so eine Sache, da die Strassen extrem steil sind. Strand ist super, Restaurant ebenfalls. Das Zimmer hat öfter mal ganz schön stark nach Kläranlage gestunken. Ich war leider froh, dass wir nur 3 Nächte dort hatten. Zustand der Zimmer, auch ein wenig abgeranzt, aber das hatten wir nicht anders erwartet

We ended up and stayed there for ten nights and had a great time. The staff is amazing and extremely friendly and helpful, the food is great, the restaurant is cozy, the beach is beautiful and quiet. The perfect place for a relaxing holiday on Koh Tao.

Min kæreste og jeg var på "kærestetur" i Thailand, og vi kom til CoralView da, jeg selv har været der tidligere flere gange. Det er et super fedt sted, dejlige mennesker der driver stedet, og så ligger Coral View i den lille bugt Sai Dang Beach, som ligger uforstyrret ud til Shark Island. Der er meget stille efter Thailandske forhold, og servicen på Coral View er helt i top. Vi boede i en af deres luksus hytter, super dejligt og uforstyrret. Hytte blev gjort ren hver anden dag, og personalet er super servicemindede. Maden på deres restaurant er veltilberedt, og er autentisk Thaimad, hvis man som os er til dette, men der er også mulighed for at få mere "vestlig" mad. Super dejligt sted, som vi meget håber på at kunne komme tilbage til igen

Je loopt zo uit je kamer het strand op. Op dit strand komen alleen hotelgasten. Het is daardoor rustig. Er heerst een ontspannen sfeer. Vanaf het strand zwem je meteen over het koraalrif. Hierdoor kun je eigenlijk niet staan (af en toe stukjes zand). Ideaal voor snorkelen (super voor beginners en groot genoeg voor gevorderden). Het restaurant is aan zee met zowel lage als gewone tafels. Ok weer gemoedelijk. Geen overheersende muziek, prettig personeel.

Coral View Resort er et skønt sted. Simple bungalows med a/c og bad/toilet. Sengen lidt hård, men det er jo en smagssag. Stranden/havet er skønt, hvis man kan lide at snorkle, for der er rige muligheder for det, lige så snart man træder ud i havet. Der er sten, koraller og masser af liv. Coral View er stedet for dem, der kan lide at gå med bare tæer i sandet hele dagen - og som ikke forventer luksus, for det er det ikke. På den hyggelige strandbar/restaurant kommer du bare som du er - og slænger dig i strandstole eller træmøbler. Personalet er søde og imødekommende, og maden er fin, især thairetterne. Der kører shuttle til/fra byen flere gange om dagen. Vi vender helt sikkert tilbage!

Ett mysigt ställe direkt vid stranden. Stranden består av koraller så ha med skorna när du lämnar rummet, barfota rekommenderas inte. Härligt turkost vatten med snorkling direkt från stranden, finns att hyra ett set i baren för 100 tbh/ dag. Fin restaurang med utsikt över strand och hav med god mat och dricka. Rummen är ingen lyx men om man klarar sig med att ha någonstans att sova för några nätter så är det inga problem. Minus för duschen då man fick i princip stå på toalettstolen för att duscha, mycket trångt badrum. För övrigt var rummet helt ok, skulle dock inte stanna en längre vistelse där.

The rooms and beach are very nice, but the restaurant is not nearly as good as others on the island and the location is very far from anything else with not much to do. The resort is difficult to reach with the bike as it's after a very steep and bumpy road, and taxis cost a lot on the island.

HOW IS IT POSSIBILE TUO CALL IT A RESORT?
The worst and most dangerous resort in the world. I did not have problem with the road, but I confirm it is very dangerous, 2 guys had an accident with their motorbike while I was climbing the road with my motorbike. Who can think to create a such strange welcome for a resort. The receptionist and a lot of the employee can't understand English, and if you want to communicate something particular they will not understand. They clean the room as indicated every 2 days, but they did not clean the bathroom. Breakfast very expensive for the quality and the quantity, for this reason we did not try the Restaurant. We had breakfast buffet at the resort next to it: wonderful.

Saw a baby whale shark
After spent 3 nights at coral view and seven nights total on Koh Tao. I have found Sai Daeng beach to be my favorite. The resort is quiet and has this calmness to it. Great place to get away and relax. There is also a dive shop run by an English guy that only do small group, we saw a whale shark at shark island right in front of the bay.

Beautiful position, basic lodgings
Great position for a quiet stay, great snorkelling straight off beach ( sand is crushed coral , hard on feet especially getting in / out of water. No TV, NO phone coverage internet ok. Difficult terrain for anyone with mobility issues, lots of steep stairs, and pathways. Resort is a long way from main township. Taxi 500 baht to get home at night.

Close to lovely beach / quiet / good food
Unfortunately the dive boat was being fixed as it was low season so we couldn't go diving from the resort. That was a shame as it was one of the reasons we picked this resort. It would have been nice if they advertised this clearly on their website. The food at the restaurant was yum. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast though just the lunch and dinner menu. Quiet and peaceful. Not far from town centre via resort taxi or walking.
